Help getting onto the server?

Alright, so I kind of had my MC spark reignited when I saw the video for the map/server, and a few other Touhou mods, but to my surprise, when I tried to run it, I found out I needed spigot?

Now, I can't find an upload for spigot anywhere, that runs at least, and I'm completely garbage at trying to run through it the method described on their wiki.

Do I myself need spigot? Or a client that can run it, or what? Guh. I'm confused and I just wanna take it easy. If anyone can offer a little insight, I'd be glad.

spigot is the server software, you don't need (and can't) run it as a client. The server is still on 1.7.10 right now, you can look up how to downgrade your client.
