So... I do have in the server name correctly but when I join it gives me "connection lost Failed to login: Bad Login" >.>

Do you have a paid-for account?

If not, then that's why you get the Bad Login message.

I am actually thinking about it. I had the game installed by a friend so I didn't know about the "premium account". A couple of off-topic questions:
After I pay for my account, does it have a duration, or is it infinite?
If, by any chance, I'd mess up the program, could I reupload it, or should I re-pay it?

Once you buy Minecraft through an account, it's permanently there. You can download it anywhere anytime.

Until you buy the game, you're always welcome in the forums :3
