A few hours before the new year arrives where I am and I decide to introduce myself. Well, my name's Jqas. I found out about yukkuricraft from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqwBpMTn_l0. Never been a part of a forum before (forum, yes...right?). Excited to begin here at yukkuricraft!! :D Honestly, I don't know what to say. I guess that in the year that I've known about Touhou (so little time :( ), I've enjoyed the immense fanbase and everything that it had to offer. The games are great, and they're what introduced me to my favorite genre of SHMUPS :DDDDD. I also enjoy playing mah clarinet, and am currently learning (struggling really) to play the piano. I'm interested in learning about new things, so if you want to introduce me to something or the like, feel free~ I'm also highly open to criticism (now why'd I say that?). Well, here's to the future!! ~~

I too am a recent fan of the series. I only became a true fan back in around April, I believe. Although I'd heard about the series long before then.

Every time I see someone mention they're new to touhou, it reminds me of just how long I've been a part of this series. When I started touhou, that was right around when UFO was announced and people were going crazy over it. I didn't actually get "into" touhou until around when it got released, though. (2009)
That being said, touhou really is a great thing to get into because the fanbase is generally so welcoming and open. I'm sure you'll fit right in here! If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask any of us!
