I thought Fearow was better than Pidgeot for some reason. Maybe because I thought Drill Peck was Ground, when that was actually Drill Run! Either way, it doesn't have the best nature, so I suppose you were right to box it.

Hmmm... I suggest you troubleshoot what happened, even if it was the result of human error, & learn from that. That way, you'll be unlikely to lose saves again.

I was actually lost for 10 minutes before realizing that I had to go to the top left.
The entire cave was nothing but a grind run, except for maybe a few weird men in black tights here and there.

I say Dome. Kabutops is so cool. It has a priority move... I think.

I don't think it has that in Gen III, and Aqua Jet is a special move, whereas Kabutops is a physical attacker.
I think you should go for Kabutops too though; it is far more awesome, and I think it learns some nice moves if you use some TMs on it.
