WAR THUNDER

guys i was thinking we could do like a airport simulator kind of game with war thunder where anything could happen

So here are the rules:
*players can only fly twin engine bombers to four engine bomber
*one person will be the flight marshall (AKA 1 fighter)
*one person will be central control (AKA 1 spectator to manage the players)
*this is a simulator so anything can happen

more infomation will given when we all get together

Ooh I like, but how are we gonna keep teams balanced? If this a custom duel, you need at least one person on the enemy team.

The flight marshall I would assume would be the other team.

I believe that we now have shenanigans in our shenanigans for our shenanigans

I've had the most peculiar...

after flying with all the other aircraft I have with me joystick...
I've come back to the P-40 Kittyhawk.
Just...the way she moves...
It's like she knows how I like it... and I know how she likes it...

I don't even comprehend what sort of epiphany happened but I'm flying my Kittyhawk more.

...also one of the funniest things just happened...

Ok so I have tracking camera set to alt
so I was tracking an enemy to try and maneuver and then when I went to check what my roll was in the virtual cockpit (default F4) (because I was flying in clouds so lost sight of the horizon)
...
I need to disable alt+F4 when in games...

Another thing I've discovered...
If you keybind things in Full Aircraft Control (I shall now abbreviate this as FAC), some of it remains available to you in other control modes.
i.e. Full Engine control is available to me even when I went back to Realistic Control.
Full Aerodynamics don't transfer down because the difference between Realistic and FAC is the fact that trimming is automatic in Realistic.
But hey...this actually means that if you fly an aircraft with multiple engines, you can actually manually control them (which is kinda helpful for putting out fires) and not have to be in FAC mode. I haven't tested but I think it might carry down to MA mode

This is going to be fun...
for me at least cause I love this kind of flying.
