Well, that's not a "theory", that's a statement he made publicly. I can't find the exact article back, but here's another one where he says characters who are already fighters (from fighting games, ofc, not just fighter in the large sense) are not as interesting to him : http://www.polygon.com/2013/6/26/446...new-characters
