So guys, what did you think of this year's E3? I thought almost everything was disappointing. I was most disappointed by Metroid Prime: Federation Force. A Metroid game without Samus is not much of a Metroid game. But who knows? Maybe she'll be the final boss! Wouldn't that be a hoot? Anyways, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam looks OK so far. I'm mostly talking about Nintendo's presentation because that's the one I watched. If someone could fill me in on the others, that would be nice. Thanks.

Well, I focused on Microsoft event of yesterday, I liked most of the games like Rare Replay with so many classics, then Recore who has one of the Metroid Prime series creators, the indie developers avalanche will be massive, early access also featured for this summer-fall
There is more stuff like hololens for january 2016, Retrocompatibility, Fallout 4, Doom, and many other gamesLast edited by Kristia; 06-16-2015, 02:43 PM.Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

If Nintendo play their cards right with Federation Force, we could get a large amount of insight into the Metroid Universe and into the Galactic Federation itself. From a lore and story standpoint, this is big. Like rather big.
Sure, our famous woman in power armour isn't with us and that's angering some hardcore Metroid fans. But at least we can still kick alien butt and find power-ups.
Overall, Nintendo's presentation was kinda neat. We got a whole bunch of new stuff but, due to the surge of Directs, there was a lot of stuff present that we already knew. Like for example, Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei (which I'm looking forward to) and various other games. This year's Nintendo E3 (while silly and had a decent amount of hype) just could not compare to last year. Not disappointing (as OP puts it) but not the best.
What are massive highlights for me thus far are: Bethesda's triple whammy of Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, and DOOM; Final Fantasy 7 remake (finally!) along with Shenmue 3 and The Last Guardian; and Microsoft's Conference and their Hololens.
Low points have to be: Microsoft bringing early access to Xbone; Nintendo failing to carry as much hype as last year (still a good show but not good enough); a severe lack of Trinen in the Nintendo Conference; and a few other moments.
To me, I think Microsoft and Sony are possibly tied for best conference. Although some people argue that Bethesda may have stolen the show.Smash through the blocks that bar your way; No time for fear, just let it all fall away; Nobody believes in me and you, Just look at the way they stare; So what if we live in a walled garden, As long as I've got you then I don't care!

Shenmue 3 was announced. It's on Kickstarter. The Last Guardian (another game made by the guys who made Shadow of the Colossus) was announced. Project Morpheus was showcased. I haven't seen the full Conference so I don't know as to what else was covered.Smash through the blocks that bar your way; No time for fear, just let it all fall away; Nobody believes in me and you, Just look at the way they stare; So what if we live in a walled garden, As long as I've got you then I don't care!

KH III trailer was neat, and I can't wait until it comes out, but personally I want to play KH Unchained first so I get all the story, and so that I'm not confused at any point.Born in the light.

Totally agree with you on that. I am not willing to dump a large sum of money so my friends and/or siblings and I can play "Animal Crossing Party". I like Animal Crossing and I'm very open to playing it, but my affinity towards AC can't lure me into playing the party game.
On the other hand, I might pick up Happy Home Designer and get myself the Isabelle amiibo and the cards. Isabelle's my favourite. Shame that there's no Kapp'n amiibo or card from what I could see though.Smash through the blocks that bar your way; No time for fear, just let it all fall away; Nobody believes in me and you, Just look at the way they stare; So what if we live in a walled garden, As long as I've got you then I don't care!

I don't know what is Nintendo thinking at the moment with the Amibos, it is such a risky card to play since not only you need the game, but also you have to buy each character, like skylanders and Disney InfinityHave you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? On the other question of who won E3, for me, it was probably Bethesda. Doom and Fallout 4's modding on console is a HUGE step forward for gaming, and shortening the gap between PC and console. That, and the games look pretty damn good (Except Battlecry and the new Elder Scrolls: Legends, sort of meh on them.). Doom looks like they took five steps backwards in a good way, and Fallout 4 has so many features that if it lives up, it's probably going to be Game of the Year, hands down.
Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.
