Timeline on Takoizu's past. Anyone can give feedback if they want. This was lazily ripped from a PM that I was trying to send Wriggle, but it was loo large and broke the PM, so ignore the asterisks and talk directed at Wriggle. :p

Spoiler*Birth - 2045; 3 years after Season 1, or 2 years after NEW Years in Season 2. Don't have a specific date of birth. You can provide input on this one if you want.

*Discovery of powers - 2049; age 4. Input might be needed on this one. How should she and her parents learn that she has boundary manipulation? I believe there was one where we were spit balling ideas, and one was that she falls into a giant puddle, but gaps underneath the surface, causing John and Yukari to believe that she fell in a small sinkhole of some kind.

*Honorfic Conversation - 2050 or 2051; age 5 or 6. Random miscellaneous memory that not only serves to explain some inconsistencies made by me, but a way to balance out some of the bad memories with a couple good ones.

*Encounter with some of the residents of Gensokyo - 2049-early 2051; age 4-6. These are random musings I had in an attempt to lighten up her past a little, give her some happy memories. It would only be a matter of time before Takoizu would learn to use her abilities and drop in unexpectedly on someone, explore Gensokyo, etc., and meet some of the people there maybe even befriend some. It's up to you which ones she would drop in on and meet, seeing as how you control them. :p

*PALADIN is revealed - Early 2052; age 7. This is a somewhat sobering experience to her, the beginning of the end. PALADIN invades their home in an attempt to kill their largest threats to their plan.

*John's death - 2052; age 7-8. This is when John stops a fusion bomb from detonating on Gensokyo, but dies in the process. It's not ever really known if he truly died or not, due to them never finding the body, but he was never seen or heard from again.

*Yukari's death - 2052; age 8. While in her own home, a strange man in white and black armor breaks in and attempts to kill her and Yukari. Before fighting the man, Yukari tells Ran (who still has no tails, thus no power) to take Takoizu and Chen and run. Ran does so, leaving Yukari to fight this assassin, but is eventually killed. Ran and Co can either temporarily take refuge at someone else's residence, or return a couple hours later.
(Image of man in armor "Reaper" : http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/055/b/6/pbs_by_mohzart-d5w5g7n.jpg

*Arcanopulsate bomb explodes over Gensokyo - Late 2052; age 8 or 9. As the bomb reaches Gensokyo, Ran races against time to take Takoizu, Chen, herself, and anyone else she can into a safe bunker created by Yukari's boundary manipulation (before the events leading to her death). Ram barely manages to seal the door before the blast wave strikes, killing everyone and everything outside of the bunker, killing everyone in Gensokyo and a few nearby cities (except for the "Houraians" immortals.).

*Ran teaches Takoizu how to fight - 2055; age 10. After some time, Ran takes it upon herself to train Takoizu to defend herself. Using what John may or may not have taught her, Ran teaches Takoizu how to fire the M6D magnum pistol that had been recovered from the area John died at. Ran also teaches her how to fight without need for guns, as well as how to use magic, danmaku, and a little bit about her boundary manipulation. With this, Ran can rest easy knowing that she won't always need to keep one eye on the enemy and gathering resources, and one eye on Takoizu and Chen.

*Ran's death - 2057; age 12. PALADIN had been receiving reports that there were possible survivors from the Gensokyo bombing and send a team to investigate. One investigates the immortals, while the other investigates reports of a fox - eared woman, a Nekomata, and the child of John and Yukari Yakumo. Reaper returns, and with nowhere to run, Ran quickly attempts to hide Chen and Takoizu inside a closet before arming herself to defend them. The battle rages for a time, but ends with Reaper defeating, but not killing her. Instead, he detains her and tortures her for information on where Chen and Takoizu are. Takoizu and Chen helplessly watch from the slots in the closet door as Reaper attempts to extract the information from Ran, but Ran never tells him where they are. After enough time, Reaper decides to end her life and leaves the building with what remains of his team, and once they leave, Chen and Takoizu are left with burying Ran and fending for themselves. That, and the immortals had been captured, leaving them the only two residents of Gensokyo.

*Chen's death - 2062; age 16-17. With Ran gone, Takoizu takes up the role of protector, gathering resources wherever she can, fending off scavengers, and scavenging for stuff herself. One day, Takoizu slipped up just once and was seen by a PALADIN agent. A few days later, after coming home from a scavenging expedition, she finds the place in ruin, prompting her to run inside. When she goes inside, she finds the body of Chen, surrounded by a handful of dead PALADIN soldiers. Finally beyond the breaking point, Takoizu snaps and hunts down the patrol that killed Chen, slaughtering each and every person, as well as their transport. She then proceeds to systematically destroy PALADIN and WRAITH, killing everyone even associated with either of the two organizations.

Destruction of ACO - 2065; age 20. After three years of killing, the streets ran red with the ACO'S blood. A couple days after the deed was done, Takoizu no longer saw any reason to live. Everyone she loved and cared about was dead, the world was slowly dying, everyone around her simply fought each other for resources, even killing each other over a bottle of water... This was not the existence Takoizu wanted. Over the course of two years, Takoizu formulated a hyper-complex and intricate plan to go back in time and change the past. Even if she might somehow create a paradox, the outcome would still be better than how the world was now, how her life was now.

Assault on Base 1 - December 20, 2067; age 22. (Events of page 98 in ATWAG Season 2.)

@Kristia

Well you gotta remember that Takoizu comes from a really bad timeline where everyone dies, including Ran. At the very least Ran went out a hero, although in a grim-dark kind of way...

Wait, you were planning to break my arc? 0-0

I go adapting my plans, so I tend to be on random paths, sure they go through a similar path, but remember that Renamon and company go for what is right, even though others might think is wrong/evil/bad

@Kristia

Understandable.

Just know that Ran won't die in this timeline. ^^;

Also, a small little confession, I kind of imagined the events before Ran's death to be "Ran-bo" ish... :p

Name: Gubthgin Elggirw

Timezone: TSP

Character: Vel'koz

Origin: League of Legends

Powers:

Master of the Void, Vel'koz can create and manipulate foreign plasma energy to deconstruct both organic and inorganic items for dissection and analysis. He is also insanely smart, able to perform complex math equations in near instance.

Weapons:

Vel'koz has three tentacle appendages that is used like hands and more. He mainly uses it to slap things to keep them away.

Spoiler

Vel'koz's eyes (yes he has multiple) emit plasma that has unearthly properties of deconstructing chemical bonds that form a matter together.

Weaknesses:
Vel'koz is highly curious. If you offer him something that might pique his interest, you can escape unharmed... in fact you could even become his ally if he finds you... fascinating.

Appearance:

Personality:

Vel'koz is a curious and merciless being of the Void who seek knowledge to consume and integrate into his own. He is unsympathetic, and often times uses his allies as a method of obtaining the sought-after knowledge. However, certain experience in the RP will make him learn to share some of his knowledge in order to learn more.

Morality:

(I personally think this section is pointless.)
Lawful Evil

I pass into the sudden glare. Blink. Blink, blink, blink. My eyes adjust and evaluate the landscape before me.

There's a scurrying. I look down to find a small, white creature standing on its hind legs, sniffing at my body. It intrigues me.

What use are you?

I analyze the creature. A flash of hot magenta light, a dust pile where it was quivering.

Mammalian... nocturnal... impeccable hearing. Incredibly weak. Yet they breed so prodigiously.

"Hm," I mutter to myself. Hopefully there will be more complex things to be found; those fascinate me.

Consume and learn: this is my purpose. The others who travel with me are primitive: kill and eat, kill and eat. I need to gather all available information - harvest any valuable resources.

Eventually, we come upon a destroyed city, save for one pristine tower. It appears to be protected - or intentionally left standing. I deconstruct the composition of the ruins. My analysis suggests this habitat was a place of great magic; I'm not surprised it was a target of such destruction. There is something compelling about the tower. While the others are off scavenging, I enter the citadel.

Cryptic instruments are strewn about. I examine one. Another flash of hot magenta light, another dust pile.

Fascinating: a tool to alter their concept of time.

Strange.

Unprecedented.

From the state of the tower, it seems the owner departed only recently. The artifacts left behind have existed in more than one time and place. Some are more complex than others; all are more impressive than anything I have seen on this plane. Clearly, the owner knows things I have not encountered in any of my travels.

I require such knowledge.

Leaving the tower, I find the others closing in on the entrance, ready to destroy it as they have destroyed everything else we have met. They will only get in the way of my goal. There are some things the Void should not consume indiscriminately.

Without warning, I lash out a tentacle, its tip glowing white hot. Lightning arcs through the first creature, knocking it back. Its screams fade as I extend all three limbs, energy crackling between them, scorching the air where the streams meet. The other two run; they know what's coming.

Must they always flee?

I open my eye wide and unleash a beam of energy, following the escaping creatures. They are instantly reduced to ash. "Hmm. Void-native melting point is inconsistent," I note.

But that is of no consequence. The hunger inside me grows. I am ravenous. Insatiable, as never before.

I have glimpsed the ultimate knowledge.

And I will have it.

I awaken from a hazy dream. My eyes blink in response to the sudden stimulus of light.

I hear sounds. They are loud. Louder than anything I've heard.

I also smell a strange scent. A vile odor of blood penetrates my scent receptor.

My memories begin to return, one by one. I remember the blue portal that sucked me in. I remember the searing pain that engulfed me. I remember that woman's sinister smile-

"Dude, are you a video game Character?"

I turn around. Two figures stand in front of me. Human figures. Male, in their teens. Doesn't seem to be hostile. I approach them.

"Whoa man, far out! I've never met one in person!"

These teens do not seem to fear me. In fact, they seem to adore me as they begin touching my tentacles.

It tickles me.

"Where am I, human?" I ask.

"You must have just been warped. You're in the real world, brah."

Real world?

My eyes scan the surrounding area. Surely this was different from Runeterra. The buildings are too tall, the road too paved, the air too thick with smoke and fume.

There's so much to learn here.

I must know more.

Traumas:
None. But if he doesn't get the information and knowledge he wants, sometimes he might sulk.

I got good ideas for the fox and lucario, even some trump cards just in case, don't be surprised if you see things close to godmoding because they will be justified and within acceptable range

Accepted from me Wriggle.

Reminds me that I need to work on my app for Ezreal sometime... but I need to think of what to do with him.

Either way I can see Add and Vel'koz teaming up.

@Wriggle

You're not the only one to think that about the morality. I think it's a good place to state their motives, but it's rather pointless to say what alignment they are. This isn't D&D... although if it was, that would be pretty badass. :p

I like that character, one that by our standards would be evil, but when you look past morality, it is simply driven by knowledge.

Accepted.

@Kristia

I'll hold you to that when I hand out Upgrades (and make some upgrades of my own...) :p

But really though, the Upgrades will be good, and there will be a noticeable difference, but it won't be anything game-breaking.

@everyone in ATWAG

Ok, so I'm just working on upgrades and just want a second opinion for John's for balancing reasons. I don't really see any problems with it, but it always helps to get a second opinion.

Anyways, I was going to give John the GEN 2 MJOLNIR MKVII Powered Assault Armor. GEN 2 armor is said to allow a SPARTAN-VI to go toe-to-toe against a SPARTAN-II, meaning that GEN 2 armor is a step up from the old armors that came before it.

Ok, before I start, I should say that I made assumptions on a SPARTAN-III and IV's abilities, due to not much info being given. For example, I assume that IIIs are a third as strong as IIs, with IVs being right in the middle.

Strength:

SPARTAN-II unarmored strength = 33 metric tonnes.
SPARTAN-III unarmored strength = 11 metric tonnes.
SPARTAN-IV unarmored strength = 22 metric tonnes.

This means that a II is 1.5 times stronger than a IV. Since the GEN 2 armor makes a IV as powerful as a II, we can assume the following:

GEN 1 armor strength boost for S-II = 2x - 10x, or 66 - 330 metric tonnes.
GEN 2 armor strength boost for S-IV = 3x -15x, or 66 - 330 metric tonnes.
GEN 2 armor strength boost for S-II = 3x -15x, or 99 - 495 metric tonnes.

Speed:

S-IIs and IVs can run about as fast out of armor, so no change needed.

Reaction Time:

S-II without armor = 15x
S-III without armor = 3x
S-IV without armor = 9x, putting them right in between the II and III.

S-II in GEN 1 armor = 75x
S-IV in GEN 2 armor = 75x, meaning that the armor grants an increase by a factor of 8.3333333333333333333333333333333x, which means:
S-II in GEN 2 armor = 125x

There's also misc abilities, but I'll get to those in a minute.

What are your thoughts on this?
