But a parallel that could be drawn
Your arc sounds like (if I recall) the game character equivalent of the ORGANIZATION arc.
The same in theory but from different perspectives.
The point of the ORGANIZATION arc is to embody the human, the real world aspect of AtWaG.
EDIT:
Actually...we could almost draw a parallel to the movie Independence Day.
Except instead of Alien invasion, its characters that are doing things that threaten to blow up the world

Yea I know what you meant by the ORGANIZATION arc. Ever since Major left in the original ATWAG the RP seemed to drift away from it's main purpose.
I just hope I can still go through with my arc since I already had SO MUCH planned for it. Isaac would get a few places to shine, John would be reunited, and a major struggle with X and Zero will happen along with a lot of other stuff.
I've been planning my arc since a long time (since late in the Hawaii arc, early Devourer Arc of the original ATWAG.) I don't want to take the human side of ATWAG away again like what happened in the last RP. In fact I even did quite a bit of planning with S121 as well.
