I need to tell ya'll something.

I'm beginning to feel like I'm losing presence and, more importantly, purpose in this RP community. If you have been aware on the forums, you would notice that I have been inactive on the RP community section, and this is most likely because I physically couldn't keep track of every RP in the forum that I was a part of, especially since everybody decided to restart old RPs just because one member has come back.

I won't go into any more tangential rant or pointless excuses. I hereby request all of my character from every RP except ones listed below to be discarded or recycled:

Borderlands: Chronicles of Olympus
All the World's A Game (I'm partially debating whether I should withdraw from this RP as well, either partially or wholly)
Infinity Project

I know this may screw up storyline in some of the RPs, but from what I've gathered, most if not all of the RPs not listed above that I've taken part in are either dead beyond repair or barely alive.

What I instead intend on doing for the RP community is set up guidelines for potentially new roleplayers basics of roleplaying and character creation and all those tutorials. (Which is ironic and funny because I'm acting as if I'm qualified for this)

I'm sorry for wasting your precious 5 minutes.

If I recall Corrupture is not going to be restarted (or it would be difficult to) due to Wonder going to be leaving. Iron Storm... well that RP is now just flat out dead. Those that Lurk was specifically put on halt because S1 had left and he said to Jasmine that he was wanting to join the RP when he returns so it is bound to come back. Infinite Project that was one RP that S1 and even myself a little never wanted to die. Just never had the drive to continue with it due to lack of people actually in it.

So to be honest the whole fact that old RP's are being brought back kinda isn't happening too much...

But I am also wondering why you think you are losing presence and purpose in the RP's... For one if say I were to become significantly more active, then things in ATWAG would actually begin to pick up (at least things involving my characters.)

It is your choice, but know the consequences for it.

Since 95-98% of the RPs simply fail because of lack of interest, more will do the same, the only one I honestly have a rather idea of stability is ATWAG for reasons I still don`t know, but you leaving it will drastically make it less active than it has been for the recent months, adding the factor that most RPers are just off (I`m not blaming you people, just pointing a fact that we all know at some extent), and S121 being isolated from internet for indeterminately time. That RP will be really possible to fall.

I do hope that you stay on the RP community and participate with your characters Wriggle, but if you decide to leave, it will be understandable, but please for the love of whatever deity, if you leave, please do it in a way to not outright stop everything.


EDIT: ALSO

If an RP died because of lack of interest, expect the revamp/resurrection/ whatever you name it to have a possible outcome similar to the original because in most of those 84 pages of RPs, that happened.

So, don`t be surprised.

ATWAG dying would only be a worst-case scenario. I can assure you that it will not die, at least I won't let it. ;p

The reason why I felt like I was losing presence is because of how little I got done recently. I'm a very capricious person and gets distracted easily, especially when the distraction is such as playing games with a friend. The last post I made in TSU was in November, almost a month ago.

The other reason why I felt like I was losing presence and purpose was because things just got way too hectic for me to follow. I didn't even know anybody owned Mickey Mouse (who really should be questioned considering he is a cartoon character originally) until Pringles posted in AtWaG. In fact, I have absolutely no idea how to continue that on my end without getting something absolutely wrong or creating a paradox without knowing it. I wanted to clean up the AtWaG, but instead I've gone and made it even more chaotic. And that's only saying one of the RP.

In short, it is physically impossible for me to keep up with you guys now that you all decided to go back to writing on old RPs like nothing ever happened, and so I'm withdrawing from most if not all of the RPs and instead am planning on fixing up some bad image this community has, bringing im new faces and young bloods into the community.

Can we just kill this "rest of the community hates/dislikes us" problem, this mentality?

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about how the rest of the community sees us. How I see it, if one has decided to judge or dislike something without making a single attempt at understanding it or examining it further, then they are simply shallow. How else would you describe someone that judges solely on first impressions and appearances? It's the same as thinking less of a physically disfigured person, simply because there's something different about them. That is a childish way for someone to do. We are not in Highschool, so I don't see why some people still have this mentality. There will always be someone that hates or dislikes us, so there's no reason to fret about it. Did something happen to bring this to attention?

Remember, this is coming from the guy that's afraid to make mistakes and of people hating/rejecting him. XD


With Mickey, Katrix explained it to us, stating that it does belong in the KH universe, and that particular character plays such a large role in that universe. If not for that fact, he probably would have not been in the RP.

Mickey is the guy that interrupted the fight between John and Org XIII, and was about to escort the group to London, but they got hit by a random explosion and lost consciousness in another dimension.

If you want my opinion on the matter about you feeling lost, it is to be expected. We are just now getting into the rhythm of things, so it's only understandable that some will have a harder time adjusting than others. In fact, even with me constantly memorizing where I left off during my absence, I was still a little lost. I had to go back and read some of IC to remember what had happened. I had to do that with all the RPs I am in, so you're not the only one that had a problem.

What I've noticed is that no one has asked questions here in General or in OOC. When we were lost, we always asked questions about what we needed to post about.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's perfectly normal if you feel lost. It takes time to get back into routine. If you have any questions, feel confused, or don't understand something, you only have to ask us.
