After a moment, John let out a quiet sigh as he began to disengage his suit's reactive metal liquid crystal layer's safety constraints. A small, red "WARNING" flashed at the very top of John's HUD, but he simply ignored the warning as his lifting capacity went from double its normal capacity to ten times. John began to push the statue, and even with is strength at ten times the normal amount, he felt a slight strain when pushing it across the tiles. After a few minutes of pushing the super-dense statue and switching puzzle settings, John eventually moved the metal statue onto its switch.
"Okay... It's done...", John said, fatigued by the immense weight of the statue.
Based on John's estimate, the statue had to of weighed at least 300 metric tonnes (330 US tons), maybe more. It only served to make John wonder why anyone would create a puzzle with a statue like that. How was a person supposed to move it, besides the method he used?

Patchouli was even worse off: increasing density of the statue meant that it took Patchouli more energy to supply more energy per kilogram. She collapsed as soon as she released the energy, and even after burning through Renamon's magical flask she was breathless.
"What's next?" Patchouli asked. "Water?"

"Water is right, and I got a way to deal with its own puzzle" Nera spoke thinking on her attacks
"I´ll freeze it everytime the water manages to break the ice and keep moving" The lucario explained while going to the statue
Renamon looked at the magician and sighed "Patchouli, Prepare for an overdrive" she said taking her digivice and slammed it on Patchouli´s back. The small object started glowing as all its storaged energy both drained the fox´s own while pouring it into the purple haired woman. This time the drain was direct from the fox as she fell to her knees almost falling unconscious
"That.. should do it.." Renamon barely spoke while grasping for air

"Ugh... Alright." Patchouli frowned as she channeled a jet blast of water and fired. The statue of the Mermaid started emitting goo-like water, so slippery that it cannot be touched without slipping. The goo covered the entire statue, but whatever goo that reached the floor vanished.

Nera charged her ice punch and started dealing attacks to freeze the goo like statue. After freezing it, the lucario pushed it while the settings were changing, every time the goo managed to get out of the ice, Nera made another series of ice punches, with each loop of the process her body was getting affected by the ice lowering her temperature and burning her paws with the chilling ice.
"Come on you ice cube.. just a bit more.." Nera was already shivering as her arms and upper chest were almost frozen because of the ice. With a powerful growl, the lucario reached the tile and kneeled trying to recover her normal temperature

Prometheus grew an even more sadistic look on his face at Lisa's response? "Quiet bug! Know your place in the world!" He said as he then began spinning his scythe in front of him, creating an intense barrier of energy from his scythe to protect him from the barrage of bullets. He managed to block the first two barrages, but was too slow to stop the third. The bullets impacted him in the chest, knocking him back. It shown to hurt him quite a bit, but instead of a look of pain on his face he got a look of excitement. "You worm... I must say you are the first person to fight me on even grounds. However I have yet to fight at full power!" Prometheus proclaimed as he saw Lisa get launched into the air due to one of the fire pillars. At that very moment Prometheus grinned and teleported right above Lisa. He held his scythe as though he was ready to deal a massive finishing blow...
Unfortunately for him though he got too caught up in the fight against Lisa, and forgot all about X... who was charging up his X-Buster to max power. His X-Buster was crackling, and surging with energy as he prepared to fire the charged shot.
"CHARGE SHOT!!!" X yelled as he fired an incredibly large blue blast from his X-Buster. The blast was so powerful that the recoil actually pushed him back a few meters.
Right before Prometheus could deal the "finishing blow" he turned to his side, and came face to face with a large blue blast that struck him directly. Creating a massive explosion of energy, and leaving a large dust cloud.

John saw that Patchouli was exhausted, and Renamon was not faring very well either. They were both tired, but John had an idea. Despite him still recovering from moving ythe metal statue, he activated his thrusters and flew over to Renamon.
"Hey Renamon, I have an idea, but I'll need your digivice. I'm going to give you a boost, which will revitalize Patchouli, maybe bring her back to full physical condition. Is it okay if I have it for a moment?", John asked Renamon.
John saw that Patchouli was exhausted, and Renamon was not faring very well either. They were both tired, but John had an idea. Despite him still recovering from moving ythe metal statue, he activated his thrusters and flew over to Renamon.

Renamon looked at both Patchouli and Nera, then at her flask which only had just enough for two. She walked to Patchouli and made her drink it and then walked to her partner.
"Are you sure about this? its the last drink until we reach a bonfire" Nera asked holding the estus flask
"Don´t worry about it, I got another battery for both Patchouli and me" the fox assured the lucario while taking whatever energy was left on the digivice to make her evolve to Taomon
"Ok then.. with this we will manage. Patchouli, I´ll share my own life energy with you, with our souls bonded, the reaction will create enough energy to do it" she asked to the magician.
Looking at the spartan, the Shaman declined his offer "It would be better if you recover your energy John, we don´t know what lies beyond this room and I prefer having you atleast at full capacity for it" she said with a tired smile and when she turned her back from the spartan, she barely mumbled "I don´t want to use the other alternative yet.."
Reaching the magician Taomon produced two paper talismans "The moment you hold this talisman, our souls will bond for some moments, you will have a heavy load of my energy, but remember, it will be only for five minutes tops. After that, the talisman will burn severing the bond. Are you ready?"
