Just a minor character that I'll be occasionally be using if I want to or if someone else wants to interact with her.
One for sorrow
In Fantasica, there is a name for the young, gun-wielding women who have turned to the mercenary business around the city - Valkyries. All Valkyries have abandoned their true names, be it willingly or due to amnesia, for a name relating to that of a bird, as per tradition. These maidens of the battlefield are fierce fighters, earning them notoriety among the various gangs. The most notorious is Phoenix, the crimson-haired assault rifle expert with a certain knack for always surviving situations that would leave anyone else dead.
Two for joy
It is up to the Valkyrie whether she fights for the highest bidder or for the betterment of the city. Magpie is one of the latter. As all the other Valkyries, she works alone unless it's with Phoenix, who treats her like a younger sister. Recently, Phoenix hasn't been seen around the city at all after a massive explosion at a factory in the scrapyard district.
Three for a girl
Magpie is a Imaginandi Impotens who looks to be around 17 years old. She's a sharp-tongued sniper who's only awake during the night hours of 3PM-8AM. Her normal outfit is basically a schoolgirl outfit, a white dress shirt and maroon tie with a black blazer, black pleated skirt, black thigh-high socks, and black knee-length leather boots. Her black hair reaches down to the middle of her back. Her eyes are a deep maroon color, much lie her tie.
Four for a boy
Her sharp-tongue and her tsundere - almost outright hostile - attitude has turned away many people from her. She's recently been trying to work on being more friendly towards others, but hasn't been making much progress. She absolutely hates being called cute and will get extremely angry when someone calls her cute. She met Joel by chance on a rooftop and has taken a liking to him since he was one of the few people who actually tolerated her bitter attitude. She still treats him the same, though.
Five for silver
She's always liked nighttime for some reason or another and has adjusted her sleep habits to fit it. Her outfit works well for her as a sniper to blend in during the night while on missions. She has developed amazing night vision, which helps when she's sniping. During the day, she sleeps in a hidden room in the library.
Six for gold
Her weapon of choice is an anti-materiel rifle with a small pistol as a sidearm. From all the missions she's done, she has accumulated a lot of money. She does have enough money to rent herself an apartment, but she prefers the hidden room.
Seven for a secret never to be told
Most of Magpie's past is unknown, including her true name and age. The last thing she can remember is when she woke up in Phoenix's apartment and was convinced to become a Valkyrie.
Eight for a wish
Truthfully, she just wants to live a normal life. The only thing holding her back is her sense of duty to fix the problems of the Scrapyard District
Nine for a kiss
Phoenix was Magpie's mentor and acted like a sister to her. She taught her everything she needed to learn and they've become very close. Magpie sometimes feels lonely without Phoenix and will at times zone out.
Ten for a bird you must not miss
While she may not be good at close-quarters combat or her pistol, she's very well known for never missing a shot. She'd rather not take the shot than miss it, but...
If she has you in her sights, you're as good as dead.
