Also you have to realize that my app and character is WAY behind current tech. He doesn't even know what a CD player is. However when you are out in ruins of civilization you are bound to find old forgotten tech. My character seen railguns before, but they were probably the ones you see on modern day Batleships (which US is slowly going to change it's Navy to using it). The fact that you got it to pistol/rifle size is actually impressive, it basically means you have a man portable bunker buster.
And Alexanders view of Power Armor is kinda like those of Fallout 4, it was made really well for human wars... but you'd be dead if you fought Kishin in that.
