In the meantime, I suppose John could explain the armor to Aion and possibly some other stuff.

I swear, I'm going to be very descriptive with the fight scene, but I need to ask this question.

What weapons do the fighters have? I know it's energy based, but are they cannons, gatling types, bombers, or single fire types?

Anything almost.
Assuming it's a standard issue Maverick Fighter John is using, assume it has one of each type as it would be designed for any situation.

I had somewhere in the Shield charts in the More Details section some of the basic things. Assume fighters have Heavy Weaponry.

Also be ready for the fight scene cause it'll be Revere in a Blade Series Fighter with an improved Nova Engine. I'll have him miss you on purpose like he always does (being who and what he really is...) And assume he's impossible to hit because of his skills and a certain other fact. I'll PM you with the details if you don't already know who Revere really is.

Anyways, I guess between John's reaction time and skill and Revere's skill and other factor, they'll both be missing each other the entire time.:p

I don't really know who Revere is, so I might need a little info.

Revere is Aion
The real Aion at least.

Ok so it works like this: Aion currently is actually Astraeus. The real Aion is currently trapped in the halls of time.
Revere is Aion from the future where he fails to stop the cataclysm. He has the memories of each prior attempt. So far he's done this thing 1,000 times
In other words, he's relived this year of the war 1,000 times.

So the reason he is as good as he is, he's done this battle 1,000 times. Of course, every time he changes something a little differently to change how effective he is, the battle is slightly different, but the outcome is the same.

Aye..typically I'm bad with names also.
except when it comes to (of course) my own characters. The fact that I can keep 8 years worth of stuff straight in my head w/o having to constantly consult my notes scares me...
...no really it does. I think my story has consumed the majority of my brain's memory space.

Part of my mind is filled with events I rather want to ignore and another part is filled with events I love. Seeing how they clash is a pretty war in my mind

But then I forget what I was doing because I was focusing on those events :P

Where they are now is the center of the galaxy.
And you do know what is at the center of a galaxy, right?
A black hole.
The Nexion system is just beyond Zone 6 around the center of the galaxy. This is happening in Zone 12 near the Black Hole all in a battle station called the Daedalus Project which makes the Death Star from Star Wars look like a pebble. Heavily armed (It's...supposed to be able to "stop" a goddess so...) and will let nothing near it. Your ships would be annihilated if they got even near firing range.
In Chapter 31: Death of Hope The Daedalus Project destroys Alpha, Beta, and Delta Division's entire fleets composed of Three Alpha Class now called Iupiter Class, and a lot of everything else.
And then an organized assault of a few billion fighters breaks through the defenses only at the proper time when the Eclipse of Stars happens.

But...so...ya...
Finally the room is at the center of the entire station. It's not called the Daedalus Project for nothing.

EDIT: I shouldn't keep hiding things and just say how everything works. =w= problem is that means I need to put the notes I don't have on paper and that would take awhile...and a lot of space.
