John gave one look at the clown and slumped his shoulders in complete confusion. Why, just why would someone embarrass themselves by caking makeup onto their faces and parading themselves down the street? Had they no dignity? After clearing his mind of the absurd sight, he took an evaluation of Aegis. Aegis was still in very good condition and would easily be able to fight. Now that Renamon and him had some experience with each other's moves, they would be able to quickly and easily coordinate their attacks.
"Let's go then.", John calmly said as he nodded at Renamon and Diana.

Lyrica had a slightly indignant face on her. "Kid? I'm not that young! Ok...maybe a bit...but still! ...Uhm..." She paused for a moment, thinking through what she was saying. "Actually...I'm just curious about it, cause Someone told me I should take a quick look at an area with lockers and see if I can...fetch something for them." She was lying slightly on purpose, seeing if she could convince the man to possibly help her.

Diana evaded the tackle and prepared her gust attack while flying on quick dives "Im going to give my all on battling, so don´t expect me to fall easily" the combee said attacking with her wind powers

"Kuu... very strong!" The clown giggled. "You two must be some expert trainers! This is your first Poketch ticket!"
The clown handed John and Renamon a bright pink ticket with a black 1 written on it.
"Go find two more clowns!"

The next clown was also not difficult to find. He was in front of a giant building with an antennae on top of it.
"Aha, a contestant!" The clown noticed John, and threw his Pokeball. Out from it popped a Starly.

At that very moment, John quickly reached for Aegis's Pokeball like it was a Plasma Grenade, and threw it into the air. The Pokeball released a large, red bolt of energy as Aegis materialized on the battlefield.
"Aegis, use Tackle.", John said to Aegis.
