John slightly frowned at the man, but remained calm. John may have wanted the Didact dead or imprisoned, but he had to be careful about the local populace. To the local populace, The Didact was a trainer upstart, a rookie that was quickly rising in the ranks, showing what he was made of. John knew about what the Didact did in their dimension. He would not be fooled so easily. After a moment, John turned his attention to the man. Perhaps he could be of use. He knew of the Didact's achievements and history in this world, so it was important that John played nice with this civilian. With that in mind, John began to speak to the man, only in a friendlier tone than usual.

"Yea, I'm a fan of The Didact. I'm a new fan of his, so I'm not familiar on hi nicknames. Is Didactus one of them?", John asked the man.

"Well, you certainly have the passion!" The local miner laughed. "You're wearing a robot suit similar to his. You must really be dedicated! The name is Theodore by the way. I'm one of the trainer in Oreburgh Gym."

"Didactus is his last name. He wants people to call him by that, but I know his first name too: Uriah. You know, the biblical name for a brave warrior who was slain in the battlefield! A fitting name for his achievements so far."

"Thank you.", John said to the man.

John now knew a little bit about what The Didact had been up to, but he needed to know more. How did he treat the locals? How long had he been here? What has he achieved? Wanting to know more, John asked the man another series of questions.

"What is he like? Could you tell me about what he's done since he appeared?", John asked the man in a realistic, curious tone.

"No one knows where he is from." Theodore said. "He just suddenly appeared in this town, bowed to the elders, respected the locals, and just took the Gym challenge. Roark, the gym leader, says that he was polite out of battle, but ruthless in battle. Once he was done, he just left the town as if nothing was holding him back. I knew at that moment that he would go far."

John was a little confused by The Didact's attitude towards the locals. Why would he treat them with such respect? Was it because he knew that he would need to in order to survive in this world, or was he trying to gain their trust so that he could attack when he had finally gained their trust? John wished that Cortana was here now. If she were here, she would be able to predict The Didact's motives with stunning accuracy. Unfortunately, she wasn't here. She died when they fought The Didact. The Didact... In John's mind, The Didact was not only responsible for the deaths of thousands of people in New Phoenix, but of Cortana's death as well. If he had not tried to enslave Humanity, John would have had enough time to save Cortana. She would still be alive if John was only able to take her to Dr. Halsey. John felt anger slowly creep over his calm demeanor and was close to boiling over until he finally suppressed it.

"Do you know where he'll be battling next? I would like to see him fight.", John said to the man.

"He is probably going to be at Hearthome City, taking on Fantina the Soulful Dancer." Theodore answered as he finished his tuna sandwich. "Fantina is no joke, but Didactus can easily beat her."

Finally, John had information on The Didact's whereabouts. Now it was just a matter of finding Hearthome City. Once there, John would confront The Didact.

"I can't wait to see him. Where is Hearthome City?", John asked Theodore.

"Hearthome is to the east of here." Theodore answered. "Hikers climb the jagged cliffs of Mt. Coronet to get there, but it is safer to take the Eterna City route. The slopes of the mountain are less steep there."

John with the information he had gathered. John now had all the information he needed, and with it he would be able to confront The Didact.

"Thank you.", John said to Theodore.

What speedy service and delivery, Sherry thought to herself as she looked at the Pokecenter worker. She wished the world back home was just as efficient with their injured, wounded, and sick as they were here. They could cart out the healed and no-one would be any the wiser. Sherry chuckled at that thought as she reached forward to reclaim her pokeballs. With Mac and Claire back on her belt, she felt as if she had a loaded handgun back in her holster.

As long as this Team Anarchy didn't resort to more dangerous crimes and threatened more than just the peace, Sherry figured she didn't need a gun at her side. As long as she had her partners and her skills, she could survive. Still, a small blade or a stun rod wouldn't hurt...

"Shrinking pokemon down?" Sherry repeated to Yuuka. "I hope that's true. Imagine fitting one of those whale pokemon in a ball if they didn't shrink them. Now it makes me wonder what it's like inside a pokeball. If they're in stasis, then I suppose it doesn't matter, but if there isn't any stasis, then what awaits our partners inside the balls?"
