Sherry, on the other hand, was not as extravagant as her partner. Military suits were for military types, and she was just an agent without a gun. She had a love for vests and jackets, but finding that the Hoenn region was warmer than Edonia, the woman opted for something simple. She took a few pairs of trousers, a couple base color shirts, a pair of comfortable sneakers for all-terrain travel, and undergarments. She kept the worn blue scarf for sentimental reasons and donated her worn clothes for someone else to use.
She felt satisfied with her purchases. A glance at her watch made her brow furrow, and she sought out Yuuka.
"You've got a strange fashion sense," she commented upon finding the woman. "Don't forget, we have to give back the pokemon to the trainer."

"Au Contraire, mon ami" Yuuka countered as she held up her shopping bags. "I have various other styles to choose from. I just want to look... intimidating, you know, so that we don't get interrupted by 50 billion trainers."
"Anyway, yeah, if we're done, let's go return the Slakoth... ooh, this looks pretty!"
Even after Yuuka's extended shopping spree, the duo still had 250,000 Pokedollars and 3 hours to spare before sunset.
"So..." Yuuka asked as the boots clunked in sync to her walk. "Where is this trainer that we're supposed to return the Slakoth to?"

"And here I was thinking that Pokemon battle would be difficult." Leaf lamented. "Alas, the theories are what gets you the win."
"Aw dammit!" Peter groaned. "Fine, we'll buy you lunch! Follow me!"
"Awright, free lunch!" Crystal shouted with joy. "I owe you guys one, Lyrica, Leaf."

Sherry figured she should have indulged a little, perhaps even buy herself something nice. She was in a new world that catered to her nonexistent childhood, afterall, so what harm did it do? As long as she didn't overindulge and use the money from the hideout, she could do as she pleased. In fact, she decided if she couldn't allow herself to indulge, she would pamper her partners for their job well done.
She waited for Yuuka by giving her pokemon something nice. She gave Claire a bowl of assorted berries and looked for which ones she liked, ruffled her feathers with a tiny highlighting job on her feathertips, and let the Taillow loose to hunt on her own in the forests east of the city. As for Mac, Sherry treated him to a protein shake and bought him a karate belt on the suggestion of a local fighter. The fighter in question gauged the Machop's ability and granted him a blue belt, which Sherry figured was level 4 out of 9 or 10. When she was finished and Claire had had her fill, the agent met up with Yuuka once again.
She wiped her brow and cocked her thumb in the direction of a nearby clinic.
"The trainer should be in the clinic nursing his broken leg," Sherry explained.

The Restaurant Road is a small street in Goldenrod City, and it is so jam packed with people eager for lunch that there was barely any room for the four trainers to fit into. After pushing, shoving, and excuse-me's, the four arrived at a small yakisoba store.
"This place may not look like much, but their chicken bean sprout yakisoba is the best I've eaten." Peter said. "It's my treat, so eat up. You guys won anyway."
