Captain Briney's Abode - Hoenn Region - @Wriggle
Well, that put a damper on the atmosphere, Sherry thought. Way to go, Ms. Birkin. It wasn't her intention to bring up uncomfortable silence, but even she couldn't find the words to say in a retort. All she could do was feel sorry for Captain Briney, even if he didn't want her sympathy. Was that resignation in his voice, or was it bitter defeat? Regardless of which, Sherry lost her curiosity to find out which.
With a muffled grumble, the woman got up from her seat and took care of her plate. She couldn't hold Briney's behavior against himself. Lord knew he had a right to act in whatever manner he desired, and it wasn't Sherry's business to pry anymore. She grabbed her pokeballs and reclaimed her pokemon before heading outside to look for Yuuka.
"Yuuka?" Sherry called, looking around near the house. "Hey! Yuuka! Where'd you go? Captain Briney's almost ready!"

Sherry noticed Yuuka seemed to be dragging her feet as she came up. That, coupled with the woman's dismissal from eating back there at Briney's lead Sherry to believe that something was bothering her. Stopping at the foot of the porch, the agent looked to Yuuka and asked one of many infamous questions.
"Are you alright? You look down..."

"Well I'm worried about my flower shop." Yuuka made an excuse. Can't let her identity slip out. "I did ask my friend to look over it, but that doesn't mean I can relax."
"Anyway, let's go to the port now that the captain is ready."

"Who could be worrying about their job at this point in time?" Sherry replied with a reassuring smile. "We're about to set sail!"
If Yuuka was worried about her flower shop, she just didn't have her priorities straight. Sherry, keeping up her appearance as a student (although that could have been thrown out the window now that Yuuka knew she was 28), would have been overjoyed at the idea of taking a pleasure cruise to an unknown island. Well, unknown to her, anyway. With a gentle nudge of Yuuka's side, Sherry skipped over towards the good Captain's dock. On the way, she voiced a question that came to her mind.
"Where is your flower shop anyway? Maybe we could stop by and check up on things, unless it was back in Rustboro."

"Didn't I tell you?" Yuuka raised her eyebrows at Sherry's forgetfulness as the two approached the port where Captain Briney was waiting. "I told you it was at a whole different region in Japan."
"Anchors aweigh! We're heading for Dewford!" Captain Briney cheerfully said, seemingly forgetting about the uncomfortable topic Sherry brought up. "All aboard!"

"Oh... Then I guess I forgot," Sherry mumbled, uncomfortable.
She figured she would have to keep her information on this world in a notebook of sorts, at least until she found a way to get back home. As much as she enjoyed this world and its creatures, her skills as an agent weren't of much use here. Still, it was best to remain optimistic about her life here. There was still so much to see and do, after all! Stopping at Briney's port, she caught a glimpse of the captain on his mighty vessel and smiled.
Time had a way of healing wounds, and it seemed that Briney really was comfortable with his life now. His boat was sturdy, his pokemon adored him, and his life was carefree. What could be better than that? Shrugging at the thought, Sherry boarded Briney's boat and looked out to the ocean, her thoughts focused on trying to remember her goals here, and the mission she was sent on by the Devon Corp.

The boat cruised out to the sea, shredding through the sea and emitting white foam across her trail. The fresh sea smell was pleasant to Yuuka and Sherry, but Captain Briney looked worried, and so was Peeko. They looked out into the distance towards Route 106, where a large mass of clouds were gathering.
A storm is coming.

Mr. Chiu was the man (Sherry thought it was a man) who the agent was supposed to meet up with and deliver the letter to in Dewford. In that town Shery could restock on supplies, berries, and even take on the gym challenge if she felt up to the task. No doubt about it that Mac would be itching for a fight after being disgraced by helping Sherry make sandwiches. The woman chuckled at that before lifting her head up into the pleasant sea breeze.
"This isn't so bad," she thought out loud. "I was thinking that we were going to-"
She cut herself off when she noticed dark, ominous clouds in the distance. Narrowing her eyes, she looked out towards them.
"A storm?"
