Campus Entrance - Trinity Soul University "Cygnus..." Trista called out, worried for the one who swore to protect her. "Cygnus, what are you trying to say? It's not like... I-It's not like I can even do anything with this." It was the truth. Trista knew next to nothing of her powers. All she knew how to do was to illuminate an area around her and heal people. She even had the power to sense people but she couldn't even control that. To Trista, it seemed that Cygnus was raising it higher than it needed to be. After all, much like what Trista said earlier, what good is a power if you can't even control it? "I have so much to learn and... there are so many things that I can't even control. And you saw one of those firsthand... my Sense. And you say that you pretended to protect me. But... if you really pretended, would you have actually helped me when I lost control of my Sense? Would you have stopped a conversation to check for potential threats? And just because I heard footsteps? Would you have even... tried to keep away a person who seemed hostile? Would you even... have come back for me?" Trista asked as she stared deeply in Cygnus' dichromatic eyes. "Cygnus... You say these things like your protection doesn't matter anymore. That... What was in the past doesn't matter anymore. It's obvious that you focus on the despair that tore us apart but... you forget what we shared. You forget what we promised... I still need you, Cygnus. I still want you to be with me. And I still want to be with you. To be by your side. And for you to be by mine. You don't know how much I've wanted to say that. You don't know how much I've missed you, Cygnus. You don't..." As this point, Trista's voice went quiet and she awaited for a response from Cygnus. If her words didn't get to him then Trista didn't know what else to do. To Trista, the conversation felt like it was getting darker by the second and that the Cygnus that Trista knew was getting further and further away from her. And that was the one thing that was beginning to scare Trista the most.

Campus Entrance Cygnus smiled after Trista's speech ended. Trista could finally feel the warmth from that smile. "I'm sorry to make you worried. I promise that my curse will not affect what's between us."
"Shall we... go somewhere else?" Cygnus asked with a lighter, more casual tone. The snow was falling steadily, but not too heavy as to inhibit their movements. "Maybe somewhere warmer? Like a cafe?"
Looking around her, Trista began to take notice of the increasing snowfall. It was bizarre. There were barely any clouds in the sky earlier and the moon was still visible in the sky. At first, Trista thought that it might have been some remnants of Kris' magic but even Trista didn't think that Kris would be powerful enough to create a snowfall like this for extended periods of time. Not that Trista considered Kris weak or incapable. It just seemed unrealistic. Not that she really knew the true possibilities of magic. After all, she wouldn't be that surprised if someone did make this snow. And that was probably the biggest thing that amazed Trista about magic. The kind of things people could do and what level of creativity they could have with it. Snow falling? Fire dancing? Electrical storms? And that was only the tip of the iceberg, if Trista knew anything. But despite the possibility of a magically induced snowfall, it was still getting cold nonetheless. Especially around her legs. Despite the fact that Trista wore a blazer and shirt, she didn't think too wisely about the rest of her clothing. A short pleated skirt with thigh-highs? Even Trista knew that it was a bad idea. But she didn't expect it to be THIS cold so she wore her... social outfit as she liked to call it. Just as she was about to say something about the cold, Cygnus sparked up the idea of going somewhere warm. For example, a cafe. Trista immediately took this up and decided that it would be a good idea. "Yes..." Trista replied. "But... where should we go? Do you... Do you have an idea?"

Medical Ward - Infirmary - Trinity Soul University <Sinuda>
Sinuda just kept waiting, while trying to get a idea of what she could use. For a observer, she would look just blank, as if she was staring into the void itself. Maybe she even was? It was at least obvious that she was not where she looked to be. Sinuda knew where she was tough, she was wandering. Wandering and looking for a answer something that she could use. Anything really. At this point it didn't really matter that it was pretty anymore, it just needed to work. She was tired of wandering now. She had already wandered for so long. It must have been hours since she started now, maybe even more.
When she came back to herself again however, she noticed that it had only been maybe 30 seconds, at most a minute. It was kind of sad. For Sinuda at least it felt like so much longer. It just felt like all that time had been thrown out the window, as if it didn't matter at all. As if it was not important.
Just then the nurse came back with the blood. As Sinuda hadn't found anything better while thinking all that time, she decided to go with what she had initially thought of. A simple ring. She opened up the blood bag end let a little bit of it out. She then formed into a ring on her right middle finger, all while the nurse was still talking. She didn't really care about what the nurse said. She had her blood and that was that. "Thank you" she said with a dull and lifeless voice as she quiely walked away out of the place and out of the building.

After Cecilia left, Jason grabbed the menu lying on the table and flipped it open. To be honest, Jason was a little surprised by the large selection of food the Luck Cafe had. He was actually just expecting things that you would see in a stereotypical cafe, but they even had pastas listed on the menu. It took Jason a couple of minutes to read through the menu, but once he was finished, he knew exactly what he wanted. Once Jason memorized all he wanted from the menu, he folded it back up, neatly placed it back on the table, and calmly waited for Cecilia to return.
As Jason waited, he calmly stared at the town below. Many people were walking the streets, looking for places to eat, shuffling past each other and walking into various restaurants as they reached their destinations. As Jason watched the people below, he couldn't help but be reminded of his home city. Similarly to the current activity here, the city where Jason lived was just as busy, if not more so. Of course, that was the only real similarity between here and his city. Unlike the Restaurant District, the city Jason grew up in was busy all the time, smelled of exhaust, concrete, and steel, had enormous buildings everywhere, and was actually quite inhospitable. In fact, one of the biggest differences between the Restaurant District and the city where Jason grew up was the fact that the Restaurant District was safe not only during the day, but at night as well. Now that Jason had thought about it, he had not once seen anything that reminded him of his city until now, and to be honest, that was refreshing. At least there was one positive thing about coming to Trinity Soul University.
Just then, Jason heard the footsteps of two people pass near him and stop at the booth across from his. As soon as Jason turned his head away from the town and towards the front of him, he felt a tension in his chest as he realized who one of the people were. Sitting right across from him, right in his line of sight, was the man from before, that man that Jason couldn't help but feel threatened by. In hopes that the man did not see Jason looking at him, Jason quickly turned his gaze away and back to the city, this time scanning the buildings around the block. Jason needed something to make him look inconspicuous, and all he could do at this moment was to pretend that he didn't notice the man.
Lake - Trinity Soul University
Just as Tristan had begun to truly relax and free himself from the day's stresses, he heard a loud splash 20 feet away from him. At that very moment, Tristan's eyes shot open, and he quickly sat up, surprised and a little curious about what had caused the splash. That was when Tristan saw one of the strangest sights he had ever seen. Lying on the shore of the lake was a poorly dressed unconscious woman. Her clothes were completely destroyed, and the only thing on her person that wasn't ruined was her armor and her sword.
Tristan stared at the woman in confusion as he rose to his feet and debated on whether or not he should walk over to her. He had no idea who she was, or how she even got here. For all he knew, she could be hostile. Then again, he couldn't just leave her there. He may have been a Dullahan/Rokurokubi, but even he had some humanity. It was settled. Despite his slight apprehension, Tristan walked over to the woman and looked down at her. Now that Tristan could clearly see the woman in the moonlight, he was actually surprised to see that she was relatively young, probably no older than he was. If Tristan didn't know better, he would even dare say that she might have been a student at this school. Of course, there was no point in simply guessing her origins. He would have to wake her up. After Tristan grabbed the woman's armored hand, he slowly dragged her out of the water and onto dry land. After that, Tristan knelt down and tried to wake the woman up.
"Hey. Are you alright?", Tristan asked the woman as he lightly shook her shoulder, hoping to wake the woman up.

Campus Entrance "Ah, I have a flier of a cafe here." Cygnus pulled an orange piece of paper with various pictures and cute fonts. "Luck Cafe... looks like they're still open. Perhaps we can get something warm there."

Luck Cafe? Trista had never heard of such a place. And from what Trista could see, it seemed like an ideal place to go. A nice cafe for her and Cygnus to stay at while the night was still young. Not Trista would disagree anyway. She had no idea on where to go or what to do. Asides from just going back to the lake, Trista had no places that she really wanted to be right now. But that wasn't an option considering the increasing cold. "That seems like a great place to go." Trista commented. "Let's... Let's go there." And just as Trista said that, she moved closer to Cygnus and moved her right arm over to Cygnus'. Hesitating and almost restraining herself, Trista grabbed Cygnus' hand and began to walk beside him. Trista hoped that he wouldn't mind. But, given what he had said earlier, Trista was unsure if Cygnus, this Cygnus, was as willing as the one she knew. Despite what Cygnus promised and what he said, Trista was still doubtful over Cygnus' behaviour. And that was something Trista knew shouldn't be right at all. Why should Trista doubt Cygnus? Why should she think these things about him? Did Trista not trust Cygnus? Or was it that he didn't trust her?
Along the way to Luck Cafe, Trista couldn't help but look up at the sky above her as the nocturnal duo passed through the campus grounds. Of course, Trista could have found something to talk about straight off the bat but... the whole incident with Cygnus was stirring Trista up massively. From curses to altered personalities, revelations and almost lost hope. Trista didn't know what to think about Cygnus' past and what it had done to him. In her eyes, it seemed like her own problems were only accented by Cygnus' own. Her own desires and fears made true... by a horrible fate that had befallen him. And if Cygnus' word was the absolute truth, then Trista's fears would only grow even larger. But, right now, Trista felt she didn't have to completely worry. The stars still shone in the sky, the moon was still present, and Cygnus was still beside her. Even if he may not be completely the same. "Cygnus? When you were gone... When you were... travelling... Did you still continue to look at the sky? At... the stars? Even if I wasn't there...?" Trista asked Cygnus. While the question might have seemed out of the blue, Trista felt like she needed to ask it. Even if there was no rhyme or reason, little thought put in, Trista still wanted to ask the question nonetheless.
Medical Ward - Infirmary - Trinity Soul University
Julie felt like she was in complete control of the situation. Giving Sinuda this information only served to make Julie feel like she had authority over these patients. That they knew not to push Julie. Not to think of her as some woman who gives out favours. She needed to show people that she was in control around here. Even if Hanna was the boss around here, Julie felt like she was the driving force. While Hanna just lazed around in her little office and occasionally getting her body blown to pieces, Julie was the one who slaved around here. Sorting files, storing blood and any donating organs, tending to patients when Jonas was too lazy... It felt like Julie was probably the only one who was actually doing any work. Not that she truly complained. Julie knew that she was a means to an end in this infirmary. Tend to patients, help them recover from what injuries they had, and get them back out into the open. And for what it was worth, Julie felt in control. Alive. In power. And...
"Thank you..." Sinuda said to Julie in a dull and emotionless voice as she rose up and walked straight out of the building.
...not able to even keep patients from walking out of the building. Julie's posture changed from one of authority and reason to that of someone who bailed out of running a marathon on the last mile. Dropping her head down and relaxing her arms a bit too much. Julie's face gave an expression of annoyance and ache as Sinuda simply walked away. It was as if she didn't even give any thought towards Julie at all. But Julie wasn't going to give up so easily. Straightening her head and tensing up her arms once more, Julie rushed towards the ward doors to see if Sinuda had yet to leave. "Hey, come back here! You haven't even been checked out! You haven't even...!" Julie called out before realising how futile her yelling was. What was the point? If Sinuda wasn't going to listen to Julie then, why bother now? "Bloody hell... Literally..." Julie muttered under her own breath in annoyance. That was it. Sinuda got the best of her and took the opportunity to leave while Julie was instructing her on how things are done in the infirmary. And all the while, Julie never got the opportunity to see what had happened with Sinuda's blood. Julie presumed that it would have animated and gone back into her veins but Julie never got a chance to look. The one opportunity to see a blood mage use their blood while conscious and she missed it. Typical procedure usually dictated that blood mages should be given privacy to use their blood to recover from blood loss and anemia. This meant that medical staff were not permitted to view the mage in question until they were finished. It was less of a privacy thing and more of a safety precaution in case the mage decided to drain any staff of their own blood. But Julie just wanted to get the job done and she didn't mind the safety issues if it meant seeing the magic happen.
But regardless, Julie no longer had any other jobs to do for the night. The main reason she stayed was because Sinuda was her responsibility and that she along with Jonas were assigned to take care of Sinuda. But Jonas was too busy so Julie took it up instead. If anything were to happen in the wards, it was now Jonas and Hanna's job. And if Julie did her mathematics correctly, 1 semi-lazy head nurse + 1 very lazy nurse = the productivity of 1 hard-working nurse on a night shift. But before Julie was to turn in for the night, she decided that it was time to check the old records room. Although it wasn't really any of Julie's business, something about Trista made Julie think various things about her. And the best way to gain some answers without spying on the girl would be to check her records. Of which Julie had very easy access to. Proceeding out of the ward, Julie slowly but surely began her walk to the records room. To see what she could find on this little blonde haired girl.

"Hmm... yes... quite a 'vampire' if I must say so. Don't worry though you will be safe with me. I'm not the kind of gal that would just give out secret information all the time." She said as she lifted a small wooden panel at the counter for Allen to walk through.
"Okay now follow me I'll take you to the other room so you can choose that enchantment for that mask you chose."
Luck Cafe - Restaurant District - TSU | 8:42 PM
Drake paid no attention to Jason. He did occasionally glance at Jason, but he didn't seem to care at all. As such Drake then picked up his menu and began looking at it.
Meanwhile Cecilia had returned with Jason's drink, and a small notepad in her hand. "Here you go sir. Now have you found out what you'd like to order?" She said in a slightly more... annoyed tone. Like she just got in a slight argument with someone before coming back to Jason's booth. She still had that perky, and cute look on her face though. She was now ready for Jason's order.

The young woman unfortunately did not react to Tristan shaking her oh so slightly. In fact she seemed to be completely unconscious. Her body was also getting quite cold due to the water... It was obvious that she was not in very good condition. Did she nearly drown? Did someone attack her? Either way she will die of hypothermia due to the ice cold water she was soaked with, and the chill winds if she did not get medical help soon.
Campus "Of course. I looked up to the sky, thinking of you." Cygnus said as he looked up the sky. Other than the falling snow, there were plethora of stars he could recognize. Betelgeuse, Mira, Capella... all with different stories to tell and different charms. Of course, that moon in the sky was the brightest in the sky, and Trista the brightest in land. "Oh, Sirius is quite bright tonight... and I think we're here."
Luck Cafe was just like any other cafe: vibrant, modern, without too many lavish decorations. The terrace outside had 3 tables with 2 chairs each, and the tables were protected by a parasol. The entrance had a bright neon sign that said "OPEN".
Campus -> Luck Cafe - Restaurant District - Trinity Soul University
Before long, Trista and Cygnus arrived at their destination. The Luck Cafe. It was a modest and standard looking cafe. Modern and refined but not flashy. From its appearance it seemed like a decent place to go for a drink or just to hang out. Something that Trista might have to consider about doing with her roommates or anyone else she felt like being with. Which... in Trista's opinion, wasn't many people. Sure, Trista had already met several interesting people. Andrew, Jason, Aeneas, and several others. But how many of them would Trista actually be comfortable around? After all, she barely knew these people. And she was still afraid of most of them. The only people who Trista felt she could trust to a certain level were her roommates, Kris, Sarah, and Cygnus above all others. But it was something that Trista had yet to see change. After all, only around 12 hours had passed since Trista arrived at this university. She had barely started. Trista couldn't tell what was to come next. For example, she didn't know of what would become of her and Cygnus. If the curse would take its unholy grasp on Trista and tear the two apart or not. But right now, Trista had to think on the present rather than the possible future. And right now, Trista was about to step into a cafe... A cafe which Trista had no idea as to who was inside or what it would be like.
"It... It appears to be open." Trista commented. "Erm... L-Let's... Let's go in..." Trista prepared herself for what awaited inside the cafe. In doing so, Trista slipped behind Cygnus and began to hold onto his back. Moving at the same pace as the man in front of her, Trista stepped into the cafe. Out of the cold winter's night air and into the warmth that was the Luck Cafe.
