In the year 2200 a large collection of people were infected with what wold be later known as the "Evolution" virus. The virus infested the human nerve-system causing their cells to mutate. their skin became more durable and harder to damage, their muscles became 4 times stronger than the avarage human's and their bones hardened. They were able to run faster and jump higher than any normal man, but at a cost. Because the virus was so demanding on the human's body, it drastically shortened the human's life spawn. humans with the evolution virus would live for an average of 20 to 30 years at the most. the virus did not however make them old looking or gray.
The infected humans, later named "Infecta" were soon shunned and looked at as lepers who brought death to anyone associated with them. Instead of trying to cure the Infecta, the world leader had them hunted down like rats and brought to a single location. The Infecta were placed on a massive space station and banished from the earth in order to keep the human race from dying. The leader known as "Crux" had promised a comfortable life for the Infecta, where food water and entertainment would be provided for them until a cure could be developed. Unfortunately this was a ruse. Crux launched a plasma missile at the Infecta ship.
One of the men adored the station was an adept soldier whom formally worked under Crux, before he achieved world domination. Colonel Peter Brooks. As the missile was being launched towards he station, Brooks override the controls on the station to shun the unwarranted attack. He was only able to minimize the damage however, as the bomb bypassed the ship and slammed into a meteorite. The explosion from the impact caused eminence damage to the body of the ship causing the death of at least ten thousand people. All would have been lost if not for David Cooper. Davide was a young and upcoming engineer who was interested in new technology. Cooper was able to mend the large tear in the ship shut using a powerful EXO-skeleton to bend the steal inward and then seal it with a high powered flamethrower.
Thankfully there were a number of doctors and nurses aboard the ship as well, they managed to save the majority of the survivors. Peter and David started working together to keep the damaged space station from being destroyed. The engineer rushed to repair the ship while the colonel gave orders to the survivors. It took several hours of continuous work, but eventually the soldier, with help from everyone aboard managed to fly the ship out of earth's launch range. Not seeing the Infecta as much of a threat, Crux decided to let them leave. After all he had taken over the world, what could a few thousand civilians do?

Many months after their departure, The Infecta colony, which would later be named "The Shinka Knights", crash landed. The had been pulled into a magnetic meteorite, or perhaps it crashed into them, and it sent them plummeting into a nearby planet. The ship was destroyed, but thanks to careful planning by Brooks and Cooper, there were very few injuries and even fewer casualties, however now they were stranded.
The planet seemed lush and peaceful, the air was breathable, The soil would grow crops easily and the trees were filled with wonderful tasting fruits. The Infecta colony settled in the lush lands of this new world. Cooper managed to invent new lighting and power systems. All was well until an alian race calling themselves "Ragnarok". Ragnarok wanted this new planet for themselves, so their empire could spread and prosper. Seeing the Humans/Infecta as a threat, Ragnarok launched a tainted missile at the Infecta civilization in an attempt to eradicate them. However the leader of Ragnarok had underestimated the Infecta, and thus the missile was redirected off into the forest.
The Infecta's victory was short lived however, as the radiation from the taint caused the creatures in the forest to mutate and change into ghoulish beings, with sharped claws and fangs, they resembled zombies or beasts. With war upon them, the Infecta had to prepare themselves. They were outnumbered, outgunned, and the constant zombie attacks didn't help either. Fate had smiled upon them for it was around this time, Cooper and Brooks had made the discovery that would immortalize them. by utilizing the energy found in special sphere shaped crystals found on this new planet, Cooper was able to power unique battle suits. The suits in cooperation with the many different crystals, granted the Infecta unique and devastating abilities. With their new found technology, the Infecta were able to rebel against Ragnarok and fight for their right to survive.
This is where you come into the story. It's been one year since the infecta arrived in this new world. Since then many things have happened and new developments have been made. Are you an infecta? do you fight for your right to exist, to survive? are you with Ragnarok? do yo fight for your empire and kill any who stand in your way? Are you tainted? do you kill anything and everything who steps on your territory? Choose your fate. choose your side. fight for what you believe in.

The crystals do not have an unlimited amount of energy, they do however recharge over time. Crystals can also be charged manually by exposing them to raw energy. For that reason there are multib;e power plants within both friendly and hostel territory.
FIRE: great for high damage attacks, weak on defense. commonly has a wide range.
WATER: higher attack and defense than fire but with a much shorter range.
EARTH: With great power and defensive capabilities, this element is the most populer among new soldiers. It is however the slowest crystal.
WIND: This crystal has the most range and one of the fastest speeds, it makes up for it's lack of defensive power by aiding in mobility.
ELECTRICITY: This fastest form of energy, dose high powered attacks but with a high energy cost.
MAGNETISM: One of the rarer crystals with only about 100 of them found. magnetism offers a balance of attack and defense, while holding some devistating abilities if wielded by adept users.
ANTIMATTER: The rarest crystal with only 5 in known existence. It's the most destructive crystal, but it actually makes you more vulnerable to attacks.
SHADOW:: This crystal has high defensive and stealth capabilities. Despite it's lacking of attack power it's still one of the most feared crystals among Ragnarok.
POISON: This crystal is quite different from the others as it deals more in chemical warfare rather than raw firepower. Adept users are said to be able to utilize powerful neurotoxins as a weapon.
HEALING: Pretty self explanatory, this crystal specializes in using healing energy. This crystal is only used by medics in times of war.
Power crystals can become more powerful over time. When a crystal is in it's purest form of itself it becomes a "Prime Crystal" Prime crystals have a 50% energy cost reduction as well as a 10% increase in range. Crystals grow more powerful the more they are used, meaning the only way to obtain a prime crystal is to use it time and time again in battle.
Tainted crystals however are very different. They are created when a crystal becomes curropted by "Taint" the same chemical compound that created the zombies in the first place. tainted crystals recharge incredibly fast and have 20% more raw power than a normal crystal anyone who uses a tainted crystal will be forever bound to that crystal and as such attempting to use any other crystal willl make the user sick. When a tainted crystal reaches it's peak, it gains the ability to consume the energy from a regular crystal. this allows a person with a tainted crystal to use multible types of energy without having to swap crystals, or to double the power of a single crystal type. People with tainted crystals are sick, and will die if parted with their crystal for too long. there is currently no cure for those with tainted crystals but only time can tell what new developments will be made.
IMPORTANT NOTE (I will not be listing every technology crystal combination because technology is always evolving. I want you to use creativity and common sense to make your own unique combinations. That and listing every single possibility would take up more space than allowed in a single post)

Each mask is built with everything a soldier needs, including but not limited too, a 2 way communication device, limited oxygen for appropriate occasions and a scanner which can identify any target on the Shinka Knight's most wanted list. with the propper upgrades and a water crystal, a user will be able to breath under water. a fire crystal would allow the user to breath fire, poison with the right upgrades would make the user immune to sickness and a majority of poisons as well, the possibilities are truly endless.
UPPER TORSO: The main armor piece that sends power to the rest of your armor. this upper torso is usually the most heavenly armored part of the body in order to protect not only the user, but the power supply itself. like all other pieces of a power suit it can be upgraded to do amazing things.
GLOVES: Gloves wen upgraded with hardened will make punches thrown by earth crystal users as hard as impact from a 9 mm handgun. The life upgrade makes it so any weapon held by this user will gain the aspect of their crystal. for example guns that shot flaming ammo.
LOWER TORSO: there are a multitude of different armor types for the lower torso as well. light footed and stern being the most commen. Air crystals with light footed will descend slowly rather than falling and have the ability to walk on water. with a magnetism crstal you could walk on walls and ceilings. stern makes you harder to knock down while making attacks that are normally activated by stomping a lot stronger.
