Birch's Lab - Littleroot Town
"You want to battle?" Glitch answered, scratching her head. "I would rather start with what Professor Juniper asked me to do..."
Glitch's Axew suddenly woke up with a jolt. He looked around, his eyes looking about, the little cute dinosaur sniffed the air to smell Sela's Eevee and bellowed a cute roar as a means to provoke her. He wriggled out of Glitch's arms and barked, trying to climb up Sela's shins.
"Well looks like my little Axew's itching for a battle." Glitch chuckled at her Axew's cuteness. "You know what, let's battle. Why not."

Birch's Lab - Littleroot
Sela is a little surprised by the Axew. She pats it's head. "Ok but let's take it outside. Treeko, Eevee, let's go." Sela said as she starts to run out of the lab.
Littleroot
After leaving the lab and going a bit away so no building get damaged, Sela stopped. "Ok Treeko, I want you to watch this one." She said as her Treeko stands next to her.

"Axew... no, let me give you a proper nickname." Glitch crouched down, facing her Axew. "Look at you... you're so tiny and cute... I'll name you Cuddles."
The Axew raised his head to look at his trainer, gave another cute roar, and faced Sela. Behind him stood Glitch, her height and the sunlight coming behind her intimidating.

Mt. Chimney
"There you are!"
Cipher climbed up the steep mountainside and found Juri on a large plateau. He wasn't wearing his Team Magma clothes anymore, but instead was wearing beige pants and white dress shirt, ironed and buttoned up to perfection, and holding a drink holder with two cups of coffee. He bent down to take a rest for a few second, out of breath after the hike.
"I was wondering where you went." Cipher smiled as he approached Juri. He was tall, towering over Juri by a head-and-a-half. "What are you doing here?"
"There you are!"

Daniel began to think about what he should do here now that both he, and his old pal Nick are in Hoenn. He thought about what Nick had suggested. Either they just go and immediately start out on their journey in Hoenn to try and collect all the badges, that or head over to the lab of Professor Birch to try and get any advice and tips about what they could do here in Hoenn. Both ideas were really tempting, and even downright brilliant. "You know... I can't really think of anything. Both ideas sound really fun. On one hand if we go and train we will get a quick taste of what Hoenn trainers are like. On the other hand if we see Birch we can gather more info on what Hoenn is like since he is the Professor of this region and all..." Daniel said as he thought deeply about the two options that Nick had proposed.
Suddenly however inspiration hit Daniel like a brick. A devilish grin came over his face as he turned to his friend. "Hey I have an idea... Littleroot Town isn't too far from here, and that is where the Professor is right? How about we have a little race to get there? First person to reach the lab and catch a Pokemon native of Hoenn first before they reach the lab wins, and the loser has to buy the winner a soda pop! How does that sound?"

Mt. Chimney - ((@Wriggle))
Juri looked like she actually had some fun that wasn't derived from hurting others. Her clothes were marred with red dust from the rocks of Mt. Chimney and her hair was down and mangled from what looked to be a good time. The woman wiped a bit of dirt and grime off on her trousers and looked up at Cipher as he approached. On closer inspection it was revealed that Juri had been tussling with her feline companion, Ripley, who was purring nearby and licking her fur. What had started out as training had turned into a bit of play fighting and wrestling, and as luck would have it, it was pretty fun.
"Oh, hey there Cipher," Juri panted. She propped herself up and looked to her Purloin. "Me and Ripley here were just doing a bit of training. Seems like speed is her thing!" She then looked back to Cipher and gestured to the cups of coffee on his person. "One of those for me?"

"Indeed it is." Cipher handed one cup of coffee to Juri. The cup was cold to the touch, with ice cubes floating on the creamy, brown liquid. As are all volcanos, Mt. Chimney was very dry and hot, so ice coffee like this would be a saving grace. "Consider it my way of saying 'job well done'."
Cipher then looked over to Ripley who was grooming her fur. He smiled, with his eyes denoting some nostalgia and sadness, and reached into his pockets for some poffins. It was sweet and spicy, Ripley's favorite flavors. "Why don't we sit over there by the ledge? It should be cooler over there."
Petalburg City
"A'ight, bet." Nick smiled whimsically, reaching for his belt for a single empty Pokeball. "You know I'm up for that fast life. Ready... set..."
"GO!"
Nick bolted off into the wilderness towards Route 102, oblivious to what could be waiting for him.

"Go Eevee!" Sela said and Eevee jumps in front, ready to battle.
Eevee Lvl: 9
"I'll start, Eevee use Dig." Sela said and Eevee ran and dug into the ground. But in a surprise twist, Eevee popped out and dug again multiple times in angles and straight up, around and confusing the Axew.

"Hang in there Cuddles!" Glitch beckoned to the tiny dragon who was busy peeking over the holes Eevee made to see where that little fox could be. He wasn't very smart though, as he was struck by Eevee ascending to the ground level and rolled over. He quickly got up, his cute rage beginning to simmer.
"Oh you are bred." Glitch noticed as she checked out her Axew with her Pokedex. "Not bad. Alright Cuddles, when the Eevee comes out, hit her with Night Slash."
Cuddles the Axew responded with am adorable battle cry and stood guard around where the Eevee would pop out, waiting for an opportunity to instantly strike.

"Night Slash huh?" Sela thought. "Eevee, time to put our training to use! Use Shadow Ball, multiple fire!" Sela said and a barrage of Shadow Balls fired from the holes, flying in many angles which causes movement impossible.
