(This entire post is me being a bitch about online doujin readers and me talking about the current status of two of them so if this is not your cup of tea, I suggest not reading. DISCLAIMER: This is also my disclaimer)

So, where to begin? A few months ago, I was reading NSFW stuff on pururin and saw that my connection to it was rather bad. In it's dying breath, the admin/creator and all the mods ran away. Few days later I had gotten word it had gone down. I was sad but I still had Fakku. Then just recently, they had taken down all the non-licensed material, (Every single doujin that wasn't one of their books) in an attempt to "help stop illegal scanlations and other crap," and to promote the release of the giant H-magazines that are coming out. Even the Japanese government backed up this decision. Now, yes, I do understand that for legal reasons and the pile of letters of removals Jacob, the creator of Fakku, was getting, he took down everything except for Fakku books. Now, yes, I do understand that in this direction that they are promoting official and licensed products which is nice and all. I'm just upset about those two sights taking down all their content ~~specifically all the touhou.~~

Tldr: Pururin went down and Fakku took down everything that doesn't say [Fakku Books] on it.

Any suggestions on where to go now?

Yeah... RIP Pururin, abandoned by Puro. RIP Fakku, is now a white-shirt goody-two-shoes.
Pururin was so damn good... Too damn good... I found many a rare gem in there. Now some of them are likely lost in the deepest recesses of the web.

In all seriousness, I've found a great alternative to Pururin after giving hope of Puro returning. Functionally identical (with a booru-styled search bar to boot) except that its tag list is a f*cking mess. Who thought it'd be a good idea to not have a contents exclusive list? They have lists for characters, artists, parodies, and doujin circles but not contents! I have to trawl through ALL tags in order to locate the kinky stuff! (And don't get me started on my previous Pururin alternative...)
