you will not get it so as long as you ask, no one who has elder has asked for it. we give it out to people who we believe deserve it, not because they asked for it

I know this, that's why I'm not asking "Can anyone make me an elder?" I was just curious if I'm acting good enough for it. I don't even care if I'm promoted.

you should not acknowledge your "to-be elder" status at all unless you've been with us for a very long time and are concerned about not having elder yet. we want accomplished members to feel appreciated, if you are communicating with the community, making great builds, overall just making your name known through doing great deeds and being a friend to everyone, that's someone who deserves to be elder. and it has to be a consistent thing and it has to be something that's been happening for quite some time. i'll bring in some examples:
majormario got elder because he started what is basically a whole new community within yukkuricraft. if it weren't for majormario, we wouldn't have any of our roleplaying sections. he stepped forward and asked us to implement them, and then used them, before you know it a lot of people were following him and getting involved. he made himself known and he made a positive impact on our community.
krittercon got elder because he is always helping everyone out and getting involved with community activities. he's always talking to everyone, he's always helping people and bringing smiles to the community. he's been like this ever since he's joined the server. he's a consistent positive attribute to our community.
kilel got elder because, like kritter, he's always talking with everyone. he makes himself known, he gets in on conversations and becomes involved with the community. he's pretty much always on mumble, having conversations with everyone. kilel was pretty much one of the only people to work on ancient city for months straight. his effort and loyalty to the community was not something we wanted to ignore.
Okay, then sorry. I'm slightly autistic, so I didn't know my curiosity could accidentally have another question behind it. So sorry if I acted odd because of that.

Well if you do want a few tips I would say just get on the mumble. Normally I never get involved in the community of something. Here on Yukkuricraft it was different BECAUSE of mumble, it's an excellent way of getting involved.

Don't Forget.
Always, somewhere,
someone is fighting for you.
As long as you remember her,
you are not alone.
Pay attention here, fellas. We all have problems. It takes a good person to notice and put them aside for the sake of others, as at times it's better to not dwell on past mistakes/current problems. For me, I'd like to say I'm an antisocial bigot, but I try to be polite and friendly to just about anyone. All we have to do is keep calm and bugger on.
