Alright, so I'm going to be starting fresh for the 1.7 survival and I wasn't just going to let my stuff go to waste. I've built a small building just over the east border of spawn. Anyone's free to take stuff or put stuff in.
Just thought I'd let you all know.
Oh, there's a few diamonds and emeralds there.

No, we can gather up our resources and take it to the new map.
There's no way I'm going to just give up my 50-something diamonds before I even get to use them. I spent days getting them.:p

I added a ton of Redstone blocks and some coal blocks, along with anything else I didn't need.

Yea, all I need are 2 stacks of 64 Redstone blocks.
I don't think I'll even use that much Redstone up by the time I "beat the game", or reach Elder.:p
