Joining Yukkuricraft (with mods)

Okay, I'm going to get a Minecraft account soon, so I looked up the Server Rules.

I had more questions about mods, because I really like some of the mods that I use.



If you have any questions about a mod, feel free to ask.

On a side note, can someone tell me if guns, Arrows mod, and Ellian Detector are allowed? I don't really know. To me, they fall into a grey area.

I would really prefer to get feedback from Mods, but I'll still listen to everyone.

Ellian detector ------------------------(Minimaps are okay, but this one shows mining spots. I got this one for GregTech.)

Mods that add stuff to the game will crash your game if you try using them in a server that doesn't use that mod. Also, fly mods aren't allowed for normal players because the only place you would use it is survival and that's cheating.

Ellian Detector

Death Chest won't work on the server.
CraftGuide adds an item, so it won't work since you'll crash if you try to create the book.
Smart Moving might work, I dunno.
Ellian Detector is an XRay and is ban-worthy.

ellian detector seems like nothing but a fancy xray, so yeah. Not allowed. Other stuff is fine.

Actually, an interesting thing I learned is you don't need the book anyway.
You just press a key and there you go.
It makes the book useless. I don't see why they needed to add it.:p


I probably won't try the Death Chest. It won't crash the server if I do try, will it?

In modding, I've found that it's basically a trial-and error-kind of thing.

The mod does a command to place the chest and an inventory edit to put your stuff in it. The server will just tell your client to fuck off when it tries the commands.

Ahh, ok. Just trying to be crystal clear about this stuff.

I really only use optifine and Rei. Legit and convenient.

Yea, I usually used mods because things get very boring when you play alone.

I honestly think that Smart Moving mod should be a part of the vanilla game. You would think that Steve would be able to grab ledges, crawl into small spaces, and slide under 1x1 spaces.
