Some sort of virus on you computer? I've had that before a few years ago.

I've had the same thing in the past on my old computer, It could have been either, (couldn't tell cause my computer had like, every virus) It could even be like, the internet browser itself. I think....
My computer actually died a few weeks after it happened, so i never really found out what it was

Edit: Here's a website that describes what they are or what not :

Not sure what you mean by "how did it get there" since I'm telling you it did not come from http://yukkuricraft.net

At this point I'm just trying to understand how it could have happened.

and I guess seeking that answer is futile as it's impossible to really tell how it happened.

But the fact I got hit with it three times in a row after I scanned for anything after each just kinda makes me paranoid.

My software doesn't have bugs. It just develops random features.
Do you have a hour emergency call systems broadcasting radio station WNYW or Internet Explorer? Well? Which one?

I mean google wouldn't allow an ad like that through their filters since they do have to approve every ad

Sometimes the pop up itself is from another website, it just appears on another to divert attention from the origin

If you're getting pop-ups 'n shit without them coming from the site you're on, it's more than likely Adware.

It's like malware, but with ads instead of malicious intentions.

WinRAR fucks your computer sideways with adware, so if you have that, it'd be an explanation.

Some other shit uses adware too so they can make profit off of a free program.

Ok question: if this pop-up thing could be from another site, can it survive through a shut-down and reboot?

the reason I ask is cause it happened again and this was the only site I went to when the computer started up.

If it can survive, then I think I know now...
