ok so then it must be from the tumblr blogs I found that had the good pics I've been using then because its the only site I went to yesterday and is the only other thing that ties this together..

Unlikely. When did it start? Remember that this don't have too much about what sites you visited in the last 24 hours. Instead it have to do with when it came to your computer in the first place.

uh considering the fact I scrubbed my computer recently as of Tuesday due to corruption of the start-up
that leaves only 3 sites now
this, youtube, and yesterday when I visited the tumblr blog
And this only happened again just before I posted in this thread again.
So it's one of those three
Remi vehemently says it's impossible to be via this and I myself doubt it could be youtube, so it must be tumblr as tumblr is the only new variable to my usual browsing habit
that leaves only 3 sites now

my antivirus
Microsoft office
minecraft
iTunes
Logitech software for my headphones
and yesterday: mumble and my screen capture program which I never had this issue before and this only started when I started visiting tumblr
knowing that it can survive a restart, i'll say it's tumblr that's causing me issues as it's the only new variable that I added

Get spybot and malware-bytes as well. Malware is a bit overkill maybe, but it's still worth a shot. Also, remember that you're the only person who's ever reported popup issues which is one reason I highly doubt it's yukkuricraft's ads. Also remember that, as I've explained, google adsense does not allow popup ads to be approved and used under the google adsense system.
