What is it you are suggesting? Explain this in detail, please.
I'm suggesting the installation of the plugin named "FishChecker". FishBans is a site that checks all global banning services (MCBans etc.) to check whether a person has been banned before on any service for any reason. FishChecker uses the FishBans API to provide it and notifies any person with "fishcheck.message".
Is it beneficial for everyone? If not, give an argument for bringing it in.
I only see a benefit for admins, as it notifies whether a player was banned previously on a global banning system.
Could it be actually be used for something? If so, explain how.
Can see if someone has greifed or hacks etc. etc. However, if a previous server has banned them, without any global banning system (or one that isn't supported), there will not be any ban records on that player. Case and point: http://www.fishbans.com/u/LondonVinyle/
