Hi, I'm new to this hole thing, and Im'm dying to enter the server, but it seems I can't! Do I need to have a specific Minecraft version? Do I need a japanese proxy or whatever those things are called? I would apreciate if anyone helped me cuz that seems a lot of fun!!!!

Having a similar problem
"Failed to connect to server"
"Java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by a remote host"
before this it basically told me the server was running an outdated version of minecraft.

@gman: go to "launch options" on the minecraft launcher. click add new and select the version you want to run in. After that just use that one to launch your game and boom
