Project Esper Bunker

Misaka had been preparing to EMP the area since Jason first mentioned it to her. Now that it was almost time she proudly answered back ("The EMP is ready, just tell me when to fire.") There wasnt' a hint of doubt in her mind that Jason was still on their side. Call it naivety or intuition, but the thought never crossed her mind.

Raina transmitted everything picked up by the radio as instructed by Jason. When she sensed unease in Jenny's mind and Jason's will to be exonerated she gladly chimed in to help. ("Don't worry jenny, he's to clever to fall for their ploy.") she assured her. ("Alex is engaging the enemy. He's currently heading for the IP soldier in the chopper.")

Alex was going about his business slaughtering the enemy foot soldiers. Anyone that got close to him was promptly blenderized, anyone that ran either got launched into the air or had their bodies destroyed by rocks, bits of wood or whatever else Alex wanted to throw at them. one poor sap even had one of his buddies thrown at him, both bodies falling apart from the impact. While all this was going on, Network had relayed the transitions Jason was picking up to the other espers. However when they heard about an IP in the area she quickly pulled out her phone and made a call.

On the other end of that call Alex took his phone out of his pocked and answered. "This better be good."

"Accelerator. there's a bar code south-southeast of your location."

"ID?"

"Unknown."

Alex hung up the phone and put it away again. He was done with the small fries and now making a bee line for Ceris, moving at about 40MPH through the dense forest.

Stalker made himself scares for the moment. Misaka created an electro magnetic shield around her body powered by her ability, making sure to stand between herself and Jenny for an extra layer of protection. On Jason's order, she turned the room, the men inside it seeing the walls rapidly spin as the door opened just big enough to fit Jason in. At the same time the hole they made on the other side was pushed, preventing anyone else from getting in through it.

Meanwhile up top, Alex had gotten started as well. He found a large rock, about the size of his head before tossing it towards a group of soldiers, lining up at least 2 of them. As the rock left his hand though, it suddenly accelerated to well over 7000 miles per hour, causing a loud BOOM to sound as it broke the sound barrier. But by the time anyone heard the boom, it would have been too late for the targeted soldiers.

In Jason's mind he could tell that he had inspired some level of confidence in his new allies, a driving force that would see them through to the end of the conflict. Misaka was almost stary eyed as she listened to his explanation, Stalker had a fire burning in his belly and Network was so pumped it gave her a small adrenaline rush. With this she was able to further enhance Jason's ability, making it nearly 3 times stronger than before.

Even Alex couldn't help but smile as he rotated the large room, making the door slide to the exit on the other side. ("huh. You know I'm actually starting to like you.") he admitted before stepping out of the room and sliding the wall once more so the door was facing neither entrance. anyone who might come to this side would have not one but two walls to break through. ("I'm going now. Good luck everyone.") he said transmitting his final thoughts before his connection to the network was shut off by his reflection.

A single leap was all it took Alex to ascend up the ladder and out the hatch. He used the wind he generated from his quick movement pushing it out towards the door hatch to push it open before he reached it. The white haired boy took in a deep breath from his nose, taking just a moment to smell the forest air one last time before it would be tainted by blood and gunpowder. He then firmly tapped his foot to the ground, sending vibrations through the ground far to subtle for human ears to pick up, but to Alex this would relay helpful information about where the enemies were and how many of them he had to contend with. Luckily for the others Raina could already do this, and Jason probably had some sort of radar or sonar in his armor.

Alex quickly made his way back to the cylindrical room, but by the time he got there his wound was already closed and his arm was feeling good as new. He had to admit, these nano machines were pretty amazing. Alex began turning the walls of the room but simply pushing them with his hand and forcing the vectors in his favor. Once the door was on the other side I could go through.

Meanwhile Misaka calme dherself after seeing that Jason was alright and being assured by both he and Raina that it was fine If nothing else Jason could tell she was worried about him. Weather or not that would mean anything to him was another matter.

("Affirmative. I'll be able to broadcast their communications to everyone rather easily. Well everyone except Accelerator. His reflection gets in the way sometimes. By the way, we all use code names to avoid giving the enemy our Identities. I'm Network. Alex is Accelerator, Jenny is push, Xavier is Stalker and Misaka is Railgun. What should we call you Jason?") she asked while getting ready for the battle.

Alex didn't seem too bothred by the slight sting or itching that came from his bullet wound, If anything he was more amazed with how quickly the damn thing was closing ("Impressive... I'm heading up") and without another word he began heading back to the other side oof the bunker where he could reach the surface.

The moment Jason had stabbed himself in what would have been a fetal slice to any normal human, in that moment Misaka's mind accidentally transmitted a bit of panic to the network ("Oh god he's gonna die!") she thought aloud, her worry clear both on her shocked expression and the urgency of her voice.

But before Jason could have probably reacted to her panicked response, he would have noticed his ability suddenly flare up. Suddenly Jason was producing nearly 100% more infinitus energy than before. This would allow him to overclok his nano machines to a degree not previously posible and posibly do other things with his armor. ("Relax Misaka, He's fine. In fact he should be feeling great right about now.")

Upon hearing Jason's willingness to help, Alex was admittedly surprised. Was Jason really so forgiving o had the females of their group charmed him into selfless act? Whatever the case that wasn't important. What was important was that they now had an additional ally, and a powerhouse at that. Even Alex had to admit that Jason's plan was a lot more well thought out than his. While either plan could have worked, this one was a lot more contagious to their side. Without giving too much of a response Alex left the cylindrical room he was in. From there he had a pretty straight shot down the hallway. Using his vector manipulation he was able to zoom down the halls at about 30MPH without hurting himself or running into anyone.

Meanwhile upon hearing his question Misaka waited for Jason to finish before answering ("From what Raina is showing us I should be able to EMP all of their ground forces in one go. Tactical Misaka standing by.")

Almost right as she finished transmuting her thoughts to the group, Alex sowed up in the same hallway, coming from the hall to Jason's right that connected to the lab. ("Make it quick.") he thought to Jason less than in a bossy demanding sort of way and more in an urgent I need to hurry sort of way. He quickly removed his Bandages and pulled up his sleeve so Jason could get to work. ("Raina can you enhance Jason's response time")

("Easily") she answered back ("Although I'm not sure if he'd really need it I can enhance his response time by 75% But If you have a better use for me Jason don't hesitate to ask")

Meanwhile outside whenever the Soldiers managed to get sonar down the hole they would see that there was in fact a hallow room on the other side of the wall. It was round, cylindrical and somewhat large with several mechanisms allowing the walls to be rotated. At the far end was a hallway but it was difficult to see to far beyond that due to the way the cylindrical room liked to bounce the sound waves around. What they could tell was that about 4 people were standing on the other side of the cylindrical room.

As the explosion went off, the soldiers above trying to gain entry would have found the hole they made leading into a straight drop with bits of the ladder leading down blown away as a result of the bomb. The walls down here were made of a thicj concrete with the the wall opposite of the ladder being made of reinforced steel At first glance it would simply look like a dead end with the hole leading to nowhere. The room down there was rather dark, but if someone were to shine a light down there, they might notice that the steel wall wasn't perfectly flat but rather it was slightly rounded.

Meanwhile Alex was making his way to the opposite entrance when Jason posed his question. He paused for just a moment to consider the question. Once he could recall he answered. ("The walls in the cylindrical rooms are made of 10 inch thick steel walls with a titanium core. I'm going to cut them off from the other side and divert their forces away from that entrance. you can come with me or stay behind with them. I'll be fine either way.") he said as he reached the door near the greenhouse. He stepped into the room before turning the walls around him to let himself out the other side

all the while Misaka was now at the door leading into the cylindrical room. She was waiting for Jason to state his intentions, weather he would stay with them or go join Alex.

Project Esper | Living Area

"EVE"RYONE!" Raina spoke in the minds of Jason and everyone else currently in the bunker. "There are foot soldiers outside. The forest keeps us safe from tanks an air strikes but they'll be upon us any moment now. This is not a drill, battle stations everyone!"

It looked like Misaka was about to say something else to Jason, but all whatever it was would have to wait until later. "Damn it..." the girl cursed as she quickly got up.and headed for one of the exits

("Raina are we all connected?") the familiar voice of Alex played through everyone's mind.

"Affirmative"

"Good, Stalker head to the front entrance with push and railgun. Get them outside quietly. All non combatants grab a weapon, get to the rec room and wait it out. Jason... I've no right to ask you for help, but if you want to fight then meat me at the far exit, I'm going to draw the enemy's fire."

Misaka couldn't help bit give a small giggle at Jason's reasoning, putting her hand over her mouth as she tried not to seem disrespectful. His intentions were noble, but something about what he said made her giggle. "Oh don't worry about that. We're already harboring an Alex. One more flight risk won't crash us. Besides, if anyone does come here, I'm pretty sure we can handle it." she said, sounding not smug, but very assuring.
