Long time no see.
I have a question for you all.
Y'all remember my GaHDD folks from Eternal Galaxy?
How would y'all like to maybe participate in an RP centered around them in their universe?
If there's enough interest, I'll wipe out this thread and create a real OOC thread for an idea I've been kicking around in my head for a little bit lately, but if there's no interest in the concept, then I won't bother elaborating upon the story. Think of this as more of a "I want to see if you are interested in the organization I presented and what backstory I exposed so that I can see if you might be interested in the story that I've been developing"
So whaddaya think?
By the way, and I'm sorry to say, this would be Original Characters only. No cross-universal characters or anything like that. Either create a new character or repurpose another character you have with a different backstory (or similar if the conditions of the universe allow it.)

I can understand your drive to create new worlds on a regular basis. But the simple fact of the matter is that of all of the RP's that have been started in this section, only one has been completed, correct? ATWAG1? We have plenty of RP's already set up and begging for contribution and you guys are neglecting them because you're too fascinated with creating all of these brand new RPs that over and over and over and over and over. NOTHING. GETS. DONE.

Alayosho. I love you man. You know this. But seriously. This needs to stop. This is literally one of the biggest things that caused me to leave the first time.
You guys are trying to come up with far too many RP's, far too many ideas. And it stretches everyone thin and demolishes their drive to post.

Rez glared at the screeching Omen before him. Some sort of substance gushed from the wide gash that was made in its torso. He didn't understand Omen physiology, however, so he didn't know if it was blood or what, but something in him screamed to take this wretched creature's life, and every synapse in his brain obliged. It felt odd, to him. He had never felt any urge to take life before, yet now, after seeing what the creatures can do to people and becoming a Prophet, he could think of nothing else at this point in time. He flipped the blade in his hand.
"Ready to finish this, Cerastes?"
"Indeed... Command me to break. Whip my blades around this vile abomination, and then command me to coil. We'll end it here and now."
Rez grinned slightly as he turned his wrist. "Cerastes, Break." He commanded. The sword changed into its whip form. Rez promptly cracked his wrist in a manner of which he had never been trained in before. As if the sword was guiding his hands. The segments of the blade surrounded the Omen, aiming their teeth at the weakened beast. As soon as Cerastes was poised to strike...
"CERASTES! COIL!"
The blades all closed in on the Omen at once, rending its body to pieces.

Sana sighed as she held her head in her right hand. "Oh... nothing... Scanners picked up a craft crashing into the planet. Another Angel was sent to investigate. He's bringing back a survivor who's lost her eye... I hate ocular surgery, and I don't exactly have the materials to create a new eyeball right now..."
Sana groaned as she threw her head back in frustration, "WHY DO I HAVE TO BE THE MEDICAL FUCKING GENIUS HERE?!"
Just as Sana finished her complaining, a knock came at the door.
"Uuuuuugh come in!"
The door slid open and Gaspard strolled in. "How is she, Ms. Sana?"
"She's perfectly healthy. Arm's a bit damaged but beyond that, she made out pretty good. Well... save for the potential psychological damage but that's besides the point. Nothing I can't fix."
"Excellent! Well, Ms. Tara. We have a residence all set up for you if you'd like to come with me."
Holodome
The armored man sat in silence, waiting for Bardock to show what he would do next. He hadn't yet seen exactly what about him was so powerful that it triggered the Station's sensors, but he was nonetheless ecstatic to witness it firsthand.
Dropship
The dropship carrying Keagan and Serena finally put down in the hangars of the massive floating city of Heaven. Keagen nudged the military officer's shoulder to rouse her from her sleep. He wanted her to be awake during the time that they moved her to the infirmary so as to prevent her from waking up in hysterics, not knowing where she was. With the nature of her injuries, he didn't know what sort of cranial damage she had suffered.

Through the shadows of the doorway, the head of the omen hiding within the pencil could be seen, eyes glowing crimson. It let out a horrible roar, Rez's cue to brace himself for whatever was to come next. He let go of his apprehension: It was do or die now, and he sure as hell wasn't about to die. Every single nerve in his body recalled all of the training he had received in the art of swordplay, including his own practices. Cerastes retracted, recognizing that Rez was ready for combat. He flipped the blade around in his hand and dropped into a preparatory combat stance.
The creature roared once more and rushed at Rez, leaping to tackle him. He deftly evaded, sliding along the side of the creatures belly as it soared past. As it landed and spun around, it snarled at Rez, who had turned to face it once more. The two stared each other down, circling one another. Rez feinted an attack in an effort to provoke the creature into lunging at him. It worked, and the Omen leaped at him once more, only to be evaded once more. Only this time, the Omen caught a Sawtooth in the belly, opening a long gash in its side. The creatures screeched angrily.
"Rezar, aim at the Omen and call my name, followed by the command: Strike!" Cerastes demanded.
"If you say s-WHOA!?" Rez started before being cut off by yet another pounce. He rolled out of the way and rose to his feet quickly. He stepped forward with his dominant foot, aimed Cerastes at the Omen and cried out.
"CERASTES! STRIKE!" He bellowed. The blade in his hand extended forwards quickly, the ending digit rotating so as to be poised at the creature. Before it could react, Cerastes sank its fang deep into the Omen's flesh.
"Now, Rezar, command me to Bite!"
"CERASTES! BITE!" He commanded. The ending digit rotated to its original position and the sword retracted, tearing out a sizable porting of the beast's flesh.

Cerastes jerked and coiled around Rez before getting in his face.
"Now listen here, boy. You hold in your hands a unique weapon of extravagant power. In your mind lies the knowledge of how to wield a blade in numerous different styles. Simple Omen like those this young girl refers to are nothing compared to your skills and my strength. Fight them, or I will personally ensure that you die, so as to stop wasting my time."
"God, this sword is so rude! Can I like... get another one...?.... Fine, I'll deal with this thing just... give me something to kill."

"The Holodome? Oh right... new technology and whatnot. Forgot about that bit. Well... it works a little bit like-uuuuh..... Hell, I don't know what parallels to draw, so I'll just say right out what it does. The thing basically takes whatever you're thinking of and makes it real. Sort of. It's only real in that room. It's an installment of one of our project lines called Figmentum Absentia. Ask Gaspard about it later. He knows more about the projects than I do. I specialize in real - MEDICAL - science. Not that whacky time-space-continuum, breaking the laws of conservation of mass and energy and so-on-and-so-forth junk."
As Sana finished answering Terra's question, her earpiece buzzed. She put her fingers to it.
"Sana..... uh-huh.... yeah... what's the damage...? Ouch.... that doesn't sound fun... Right. Thanks. I'll call him."
Sana took her fingers from her headset for a short moment. "Sorry, Terra, sweetie, could you cover your ears? Ms. Sana's about to get very angry."
She pushed her fingers to her earpiece once more and waited for a moment. The small crackle confirming her confirmation to her desired party could be heard. She inhaled slightly and...
"Keegan, you asshole! I'm only one girl, I already have my hands full with Phenom and Amanda and now you're bringing me a fucking pirate!?"
The slight sound of a young man's voice responded in the headset, followed by another crackling.
"Wha... did.... DID HE JUST HANG UP ON ME?! OH I'M GONNA KICK HIS ASS."

"Watch or leave, ah? I think I'll stick around. See what kind of firepower you've got in that 24/7 gunshow of yours. Show me what you can do, big guy."
The heavily armored man sat down against a nearby rock and flicked on the visor in his helmet. One couldn't see what it would display, only that it was now glowing slightly.

Repeated Combat? Rez didn't much like the sound of what that implied. He raised his eyebrow at Alisa.
"And how am I supposed to train and build my trust with... Cerastes... if these things aren't around during the day? Unless... Oh don't tell me you want to fight..."
Rez was well versed in swordplay, but if Alisa was able to hold all of those things off on her own, while carrying him to safety, he could only imagine that she had her fair share of tricks up her sleeve... and of course she'd use her exposed body to distract him...
"Do mine ears deceive me? My wielder would evade combat out of an obvious difference in skill?! How shameful!" Cerastes, complained, snaking around Rez and looking at him from different angles.
"How the f.... IT CAN READ MY MIND!?"
Cerastes retracted, now being only slightly extended towards Rez, pointing directly at his face once more. "Of COURSE I can read your mind, you disrespectful little whelp! I am your SOULBOUND. I am part of your SOUL."
"Please... Rez. Just... Rez..."
"Very well, Rez."
