Summary for the 33rd Gensokyo v3 Building Meeting 7/21/2018:
*ctrl+c* *ctrl+v*
Communication is key, during the breaks we have between these meetings talk to others about projects, work on things etc. etc.
Since the Forest of Magic terraforming is basically done, Koko thinks it's safe to port in buildings that are located in it.
However that is for the Forest of Magic only.
Pro-tip for terraforming so you're not suffering. Just terraform the area around the place you're porting in. Saves more time, saves more lives.

Disclaimer: I was not AWOL.

The meeting started at 4:10 PM EST with the presence of Eiburine, TRXD, Redleaf64, DariruKuro & Nicolas_Akushi.
The group swiftly moved to the Lunar Capital Build Site (tm), at this point in time Krittercon joined the squad, after Nicolas_Akushi guided the tour through the newly decorated Temple to The Gods the group discussed different ideas for the interior design of said temple, and what could be added and/or fixed of it, and following said topic, the interior for the Halls of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi interior designs were discussed as well, concluding, in words of Krittercon "Just put a giant ass statue and a couple carpets" (or something along the lines).

Later the meeting was conducted into the 4th floor of the Hall of Purity where Glennkabob had furbished the totally-not-lore-related office of Eirin Yagokoro before being banished into Earth with Kaguya Houraisan. This later transformed into a tour of little fixes of important parts of the building, arranged by Krittercon, as well as a rework of the Council Room on the first floor of the building. (we still need to put australia in the map kthx)

Finally, the group concluded the meeting after redesigning the interior of the 3rd floor of the Hall of the Divine which, before looked like a bar, and has now been properly adorned with a giant tea table, and both a sand garden and a koi pond.

And so, the 33rd build meeting for the Gensokyo Project on the Yukkuricraft server ended at 5:50 PM EST.

P.S. Now Dari is the overlord of the Planet Confederacy

As a side note, we are preparing a teaser trailer for the Project itself. Be sure to check it out by clicking on this link for further information.

Continuing with what Karu has said, I do consider a possibility copying Tsugi no Sakura to the creative flats, because for a fair while now we've been working on a variety of different areas not only for use of the city but for server events, @Krittercon can tell about this, so it'd be really sad to lose the effort put into it, maybe even just keeping the city in the creative world as a record of what it used to be and for keeping ideas flowing and bla bla bla, thanks for the time and effort put into this, I know it is a pain in the arse for both parts.

Pro-tip for terraforming so you're not suffering. Just terraform the area around the place you're porting in. Saves more time, saves more lives.

The meeting started at 4:11 PM EST at the Temporary Scarlet Devil Mansion, purpleFinatic and Miraito guided the meeting on a tour through the newly furbished parlor room and dining hall, as well as little details about both of these rooms that were adressed, some of these were the tiling of the bathrooms, the connections to other rooms of the manor and the floorplan for the free space of the Manor's Kitchen.

After the tour Karuiko pointed out the issue corresponding the entrance to Voile, the Magic Library, either it being via a staircase or a grand door, this led to a debate concluding that both options were optimal, but further debate was necessary to include the circumventions of the missing appendages of the manor, primarily, its basement into the different connection systems of the house.

The group continued its trip to the Temporary Chireiden Warp where Eiburine and purpleFinatic showed progress on the Palace of the Earth Spirits, mostly the floorplan and conceeptions of the project, as well as the way of accessing the Old Hell of Blazing Fire, that considers a crater leading down into the core of the world.

The group later on moved to the Lunar Capital Temporary Warp in order to address the different building fixtures and details that required attendance for the Trailer of the Gensokyo Project, going for a more chinese approach to the decorations of the Halls of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. Later on, Nicolas_Akushi showed the miniature model of the entire moon project and the different stages of the build itself, as well as a concept for the Lunar City architecture, where more futuristic vibes bloom, this to complement the references in Silent Sinner in Blue as well as Perfect Memento in Strict Sense. For a final note on the Meeting's topic, Katrix and Nick addressed one of the most important issues of the project: Size. After a discussion on scale and perspective the rough size of the Lunar Capital with its city, was defined to 800x800 blocks.

With this the 30th build meeting of the Yukkuricraft Server on the Gensokyo Project is concluded at 5:16 PM.

P.S. This is somewhat of a joke but heh, why not,

Mandatory what am I doing with my life picture

nickmaster00 started a topic The Lunar Capital in Locations in Gensokyo
Oh boy, it has started yet again...
During the past 2 years there has been an on-going project concerning the construction of the Lunar Capital, residence of the Watatsuki sisters and home to Eirin, Kaguya, and the Army of Lunatic Rabbits. This project has been going since mid-2015 but has gotten stuck in a hiatus due to different inconveniences and issues from all parts of the build team.

Well, it's time to revive it!

With the new year and a huge update to Minecraft coming on possibly before the end of this semester, a burst of energy has given me the epiphany or reviving this project. Now, it is necessary to note that ALL the buildings in the capital need a visual overhaul. Some of them just need some touches of detail, yet others need complete reconstruction.

The first task to address is the remodelation of some of the builds of the capital, not to demerit the work of the builders, but it is sure that we can do better. Now concerning that, since the FF6 world is being discontinued all the builds from the prior build site were moved to the creative flats (-7209 4 -6479), so we can start working on the new buildings ASAP.

The second task to address is the visual overhaul of the buildings that are fine. Tl;dr we want to add even more detail to the buildings that are already good, and give some love to certain buildings that are ok.

Third task: The Completionist Run. There are some buildings like the living quarters, the palace, the Temple of the Gods, the medical center, etc. which still need to be completed to a certain degree, some need interior decoration, some need a certain degree polishing, and so on. This is where we prepare everything for the final run.

The goal is to complete this project before June of this year, so I hope we all guys work together towards it. After all the main buildings are complete we will work on the roads and pathways of the capital, but that is a minor issue since it's basically a copy-paste of a predefined model that we will work on.

It is not mandatory but highly recommended that the people who wish to help in the "revival" of the Lunar Capital read Silent Sinner in Blue and Perfect Memento in Strict Sense, and maybe even play some TH15: LoLK, since these are the only references that we have for the look of the lunar capital. (I'll leave links don't worry)

I want to thank everyone who's willing to help in advance since this is the first Mega-project that I lead and I truly need your help. So let's get it on, shall we?
