Well, considering that Seattle might be hosting a TouhouCon shortly, I'm holding out for here. Although I wish I had made plans for AWA this year. *swears vilely until Cthulhu is summoned*

Might be. MIGHT. Not solid/hard plans as yet. But people who do Sakuracon, Kumoricon, an (of all things) PAX Prime, are interested in the idea. Mostly about Touhou but also the doujin/fanfic groups and as a launcher for west coast indie game makers (aka, the USA equivalent of doujin game makers). Makers/Groups that just aren't big enough, or have enough $$$, yet, to have a booth at PAX, let alone a panel. Kinda like a physical/IRL 'Kickstarter' venue. Just that the main public emphasis would be on Touhou.
