Ok so reasoning thus far is that the Gaia computer is connected to the universe thus making it a great way to manipulate it. Also there's the part about how no one was certain on how the Unknown was fused to the void. Put the two together by some twist and you get the concept that the Unknown is linked to the void through the Gaia Computer and might actually reside in the computer. Explaining how no one noticed this is the tricky part, especially considering that Aurora and Tina are in it as well. So there's the rub: How did everyone miss that fact?
Reason why I came up with this is because as I was applying epoxy to the bottom of my rowing skull, I found a bubble in the fiberglass, and it was a big one too. The strange part is that I didn't notice it nor did my dad who was helping me with the project. And we had been looking it over for the past few days. Nobody saw it.

@Cucoo

Perhaps he was stored in fragments? A little piece here, a little fragment there?

Perhaps...
It would have to be something that most would dismiss as just being a part of the GAIA Computer.
And I have a feeling that it might be the Phoenix Code itself. Explaining why that is the case and how it came to be so would be a problem... because the original logic was that the phoenix code was developed in order to counteract the Nihiliods that were created by the Unknown.

@Cucoo

Maybe he embedded coding for himself into the Phoenix Code when he began to realize what the program was for? The same program that was responsible for restoring the other races soon after could be responsible for restoring him as well.

...then there would be the chance the Unknown realizes who it was and can return as it once was.
hmm that means I have to decide if it does return and if so, who it is...

There was the old idea that it actually is the true original Aion. It might make sense since it would be observing the revivals of Aion in order to relearn who it was.

Ok so the fact I'm still thinking that the Unknown was actually the original Aion is still a good idea, I'm working out the reveal scene.

Shall I do it like the Star Wars "Luke, I am your father." scene?

Ok need help filling in some member slots of Strix Squadron. Fate Squadron is not as important.
Only numbered slots need names.

Strix went through alot of reorganization over the years. Strix (2) was during the time they couldn't replace "missing" members.
