To be honest, I would be surprised if they didn't do something like this and I am surprised that they waited this long.. What I am more curious about is if they dare to make another remake of Red and Green, I mean it have been two generations.

I don´t care, I will save up for a new portable and for that game, hoenn is one of my favorites (Swampert and Gardevoir duo will be reborn!)
Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Not to dampen anyone's mood, but I personally think that the games will be direct sequels to Hoenn that don't take place in Hoenn. The language in the reveal trailer, you know.

Actually i think it says that bcause hey plan to do the world the way the did it in X and Y which would mean a completely new map with the same story.

story? all pokemon games have the same story XD
you pick up a starter, meet your rival, get 1-2 badges, face bad guys for first time, get more badges and fight with rival again, fight more bad guys and understand their plan, get almost all badges and defeat the leader of hte bad guys thus getting the chance to get the legendary pokemon of the cover, get all badges and victory road, face the elite four and beat the champion and become the champion
but its still an awesome story to replay
