Shining Needle Castle - Gensokyo
As Shinmyoumaru let out a cry as she began to go flying towards one of the wall Sonic quickly reacted by turning to her direction. Despite his speed and reaction time he was too late to do anything, for she had already crashed smack into one of the walls.
"Oh crap are you okay?" Sonic asked as he stopped jumping, then running towards her direction.
Kawashiro Backyard - Kappa Village - Gensokyo
Tails followed Mitori's instructions as he rested the device gently down on the ground. "Whew... that was a bit hard." Tails said as he landed right next to the device, he looked to be out of breath. Looked like it took everything out of him...
Santa Cruz - California
After Isaac and Koishi teleported back down to the city on a rooftop near the main street the sound of combat could be heard. Deeper in the city was Shadow who had managed to team-up with the Half-Demon known as Dante, Jubei, and Komachi.
The four of them were fighting the undead, not holding back as the seemingly endless army of undead continued.
"CHAOS BLAST!!!" Shadow yelled as he charged up his body with enough Chaos Energy to create a large explosion with a radius of about 20 meters, destroying almost any undead within its range and almost capturing Dante in the blast.
"Hey watch it!" Dante replied as after the Chaos Blast Shadow could be seen standing there. Shadow simply turned to Dante and scowled before dashing off through the undead, attacking and killing any undead he comes by as he began to head off towards the direction of Koishi and Isaac.

"That wouldn't work unless we were being shot out of a cannon. There's not enough concussive force to propel us that far. As for me, I'm too heavy.", John said as he sprinted with the sled.
Just then, John had an idea, one that would ensure that the group would escape as fast as possible. Based on his experiences around Utsuho, he knew that she couldn't fly as fast as he could, and if she used her Third Leg as a rocket, it would only result in the destruction of the sled. Reimu wasn't physically strong enough to push the entire sled and still retain a good speed, so she was out of the question as well. Mara did not have the mass required of her to quickly move the sled either. Jason had neither the ability to fly, nor the strength required for the task, so he was not a viable option either. John knew what Dark John was capable of, and if John was right, then Dark John could easily injure, or even kill someone from the group. John feared for the safety of his group. He didn't want any of them to be captured or killed. If anything, John would put himself on the line long before allowing his team to be harmed. Instead of having the others propel the sled, John would do so. He had not only the strength required, but also the speed. He was the best candidate for the job.
With that in mind, John spoke.
"I'll propel the sled, you guys shoot at any approaching enemies.", John said before suddenly jumping into the air and over the sled.
As John was in the air, the sled sped onward, putting John behind the sled instead of above it. As soon as John landed, he grabbed the back of the sled with both hands, tucked his knees near his chest, and kicked off of the ground with all of is might, causing the sled to suddenly gain even more speed. As soon as John kicked off, he then quickly adjusted the shield strength of the bottoms of his feet, causing them to become completely frictionless, and placed his feet against the ground as he activated his thrusters and set them to their maximum output. The sled suddenly lurched forward as it slid towards the exit at 200 mph, slamming the occupants inside the sled against their seats, but leaving them unharmed.
Fiendish City
Takoizu saw that the sword had almost completely pierced through the entirety of the Tortodrome's head, so she decided to push the sword even deeper into the monster's head, and and with one quick jerk of her arms, Takoizu twisted the sword to the side, causing the blade to move around in the Tortodrome's head, damaging any internal components caught in the blade's way.
Rooftops - Santa Cruz - California | Night
Isaac looked over to the containment wall down the street and saw that The Inventory's forces were repelling the undead, but for how long? Koishi was right, they needed to get to the source of the infestation as soon as possible, or else there would be no city to save. Despite the tension Isaac felt about being in the same situation he used to always be in, he was ready to end this outbreak once and for all.
"Then let's go pay Malthael a visit.", Isaac said to Koishi as he pulled out his Planet Cracker and readied himself for the trip.
Just then, right as Isaac was about to open fire on some of the nearby undead, he noticed a black and red blur quickly approaching them. There was no mistaking who it was. Shadow had found them again.

Jack nodded at Eve as she relayed the information of her scans to him and spoke.
"Understood.", Jack calmly said to Eve before turning his attention back over to Carl and speaking.
"I'm going to ask again. Step away from the Dark El. It could be hazardous.", Jack said to Carl in an emotionless tone.

The plan worked flawlessly. Suddenly they were speeding away from all the nobodies at blazing speeds. It didn't look like the nobodies were able to keep up with them that well either. It almost felt like an too easy escape. They still had quite a bit to go until they reached the end, and it didn't look like it got any closer as they traveled further and further away from the nobodies. Then suddenly out of thin air he was just there. Suddenly with a big shock, Dark John lifted up and threw the sled with it's enormous momentum, sending it flying and spinning, before crash9ing hard into the ground. Dark John then puuled out another gun, charged it up, and shoot a giant orb of energy at them. Unlike the other orbs of energy, this one moved much slower towards them. It could also be bounced back by attacking it. Boucning it back had one big negativ effect tough, it would come back towards them, and when it would come towards them again, it would do so with increased speed.

(I assume you are making something similar to ganondorf energy sphere that could be thrown back to him in OoT, if not, I can edit it to match your idea)
Thanks for her nature, the froslass could stay afloat and saw the oncoming energy ball. Without hesitating, she covered her arms and hands with ice making them look like claws. "And now you give me something to lock both of us in a stalemate" she spoke seriously, but her eyes had a glint of excitement.
As the sphere came close to her, Mara spoke outloud "Soldier boy, prepare to attack that copy, you will know when he is vulnerable" she said and then smacked the energy sphere with her claws sending it to Dark John

The Tortodrone's fiery eyes faded to black, and the crystal's energy dimmed. It's body fell to the ground, causing it to shake.
"Hmph." HP commented. "Well, you killed it. See if you can get some shell pieces. Might be able to do something with 'em."

"Alrighty then." Koishi then took flight, and sped off towards the source with great haste. Another group of the bat-like creatures came in her way. From Koishi's sleeves came a tentacle-like appendage, with a somewhat heart-shaped end. It flew out, hitting and impaling through one. Koishi then flicked her wrist, sending the tentacle crashing through the others, making them plummet to the ground.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

As Aisha called Ada nothing more than a mechanical doll, Ada quickly responded with a quick sucker-punch to Aisha's stomach. This caught Carl off guard as he was just about to reply to Jack.
"Sister that was uncalled for!" Carl said as he heard Eve explain her scans. This anger Carl as he seemed to snap back at her.
"Shut up! She's not a doll! She is my sister and she is a normal human being like you and me! So just shut up!" Carl yelled angrily in reply. As he did Nirvana AKA Ada had wrapped her arm around Carl, emotionless but still defensive. She then turned back to Eve, Jack, and even Aisha. If Ada was capable of showing emotions she would be staring angrily at them all.

John gritted his teeth as he readjusted the shield strength on the bottoms of his feet and slid to a stop. As soon as John was about to attack, Dark John, Mara called out to him and instructed him to attack when the time was right. Normally John would have chastised Mara for calling out attack plans, but John was sure that Dark John already knew the group's possible strategies anyway. If Dark John was as smart as John was, then he would have been able to figure out their plans from the very start. John could tell that it would be tricky to fight him, and he wanted to know why Dark John was here, so to serve as both a secondary distraction and to gather information, John spoke to his dark counterpart.
"It's been a while. Why do you show up now?... Are you here to wish me a merry Christmas?", John calmly quipped to Dark John as he pulled out both of his Energy Swords and activated them, causing them to hiss as their blades ignited.
Unlike the last time Dark John had encountered John, John seemed to act differently from how he did before. Instead of the cold, serious, almost troubled presence he used to have, he was instead calm, focused, and even showed an almost playful side when he addressed Dark John.

Takoizu simply sighed as her shields finally broke from their Armorlocked state, and pulled the blade out from the Tortodrome's head, sticking it back onto the magnetic holster on her back as her HUD beeped and flashed red. The battle wasn't truly difficult, but it had taken longer than she had expected.
"Distractions, distractions...", Takoizu muttered to herself as she did as she was told.
"Ok HP, I'll grab them. I suppose they could come in handy later.", Takoizu said to The Higher Power, right before slamming her fingers straight into the plates on the Tortodrome's armor.
All of a sudden, in one quick motion, Takoizu jerked her arm to the side as fast and as hard as she could, ripping one of the armor plates straight off of the Tortodrome's body. Soon after ripping the first plate off, Takoizu quickly followed up with the others, ripping each undamaged portion off with her hands.

"You'd better keep your "sister" on a tight leash, or I'll do it for you. If she has another outburst, I'll put one in her eye.", Jack said to Carl in a cold, harsh tone.
"If she's normal like you say, then I would expect her to show even the most rudimentary, basic understanding of self control.", Jack finally added, taking his finger off of the pistol's trigger and letting it rest along the side of the gun as he spoke.

Shadow looked up at Isaac with a pretty angered, and even frustrated look on his face.
"I'm... fine! These goddamn undead creatures... There are too many of them!" Shadow yelled as he stood up. The angered look turned to one of a pure scowl. "If I had all seven then I would destroy every single one of these things! But all I have is a single one..." Shadow said as the chaos energy he was emitting was beginning to become much more intense, along with his breathing. He then took out the Chaos Emerald in his possession and clasped it tightly in his hand. I'll just blow everything into oblivion if I have to!" He yelled as he took off running at a high speed. With his Gold Ring Power Inhibitors off, and the power of the Chaos Emerald he had he plans on using every single bit of energy to destroy every single undead... and potentially more than just that...

After Aisha got back to Jack's side she rubbed her stomach, feeling the pain slowly fading she stood up a bit straighter, glaring at the doll. She looked like she was examining it. "Odd I could have swore I felt something there..." Aisha muttered to herself in a barely audible tone, because when she was attacked she literally felt like she could sense... something odd coming from a doll... like a... a bit of humanity. Aisha however just shrugged it off.
"Jack I'll just have Angkor absorb that Dark El puddle. You can then take Angkor and dissect him if you want." She said as Angkor appeared behind.
"Wait what did you say Miss Aisha!?"
"Oh you'll be fine... I've dissected you plenty of times before to further my studies of Dark El, and you easily recovered afterwards..."
"But... I... oh fine..." Angkor said as he flew over to the puddle. Stopping for a moment to look at Carl and Ada before it began to consume the Dark El puddle.
