What was that saying you humans had? Easy as cake?" SiMo replied, walking in a calm and swift manner to the small metal booth containing one of the levers.
"One last tip. Aim for the parts on the creatures that glow. Those are nerve centers." SiMo added, small hand gripping the lever and waiting."

"True, i'll give you that. Though i'd give a good guess that our 'friends' are waiting outside for us. I can flash 'em with my spells, if need be." Mima said, looking over to John. "Though, i'd reckon we need to move fast. Really fast."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

"You say that, and yet I can tell that you are trying to refrain yourself from doing it. So just put the blade down Ma'am, and come with me..." Said the White Ranger as he took a few cautious steps forward... his hand on his blade Saba which is holstered on his belt. "Now... just calm down okay?"

John turned his head over to Mima and lightly nodded at her assumptions, silently agreeing with her before speaking.
"Your spells should provide enough light to scare them off. Either me or you can cover the front. The other would have to cover the flanks. If we do this right, we won't need to worry about getting out really fast, we'll just need to keep a brisk pace.", John said to Mima.
After speaking to Mima, John looked over to Mara and Eve and remained silent. If Mima needed to move really fast, John could easily accomplish that on his own two feet, but now he had a team. John didn't know how fast Mima could fly, but he doubted that Mara and Eve would be able to keep pace with a SPARTAN at full sprint and a flying spirit, especially Eve, who was carrying Hajime over her shoulder. Now that John thought about it, if they weren't careful, their group could easily be attacked from the rear. Someone needed to cover it. With that in mind, John finally spoke.
"We need someone to cover the rear of the formation. I will if you can't.", John said to Mara and Eve.

"Got it.", Ethan said as he walked to the other booth.
Once Ethan entered the booth, he placed his hand on the lever and looked across the room to SiMo, ready for the signal. As he waited, Ethan tightened his grip on his gun in anticipation. If he and SiMo were attacked, Ethan had a feeling that there would be more than just a couple dozen.

(As of now, The bioroid in Alchyon is called Bryn, she has black hair and emerald eyes while the Mirror of Sea bioroid is called Mara, she has white hair and golden eyes)

Perhaps it was because John had once known her, but whatever it was, John had a lurking feeling that he had placed his life in Mara's hands before, and that she had proven herself to him.
"That depends on how fast Eve can move while carrying Hajime.", John said to Mara before focusing hid attention on Eve.
"How fast can you move with Hajime?", John asked Eve.

Shrine of Seasons - Northern section - B1
The descent to the first room quickly got colder as a brisk wind could be felt. Ice started to coat floor, walls, and ceiling. What appeared to be snow drifted in from the wind. The stair then ended in a small straight portion that led into the first basement room. Light glistened off of pure white walls covered in smooth ice. A thin bridge of ice crossed a pit whose bottom was lined with sharp spikes of ice and a strange blue flame. Crisscrossing the entirety of the room was needle thin ice beams that ended in fragile points that wove their way over the bridge, each supported by another0. Through the web of ice, the other side could be seen, a doorway with a precariously placed Forterium metal slab immediately above it, supported only by a few of the thin ice beams. A curtain of Inerium flowed on either side of the doorway.

Eve looked at John as he held the unconscious Hajime over her shoulders. "With him I can move at approximately 20 mph. Is it sufficient" Eve replied as she continued to hold Hajime over her shoulders, her look seemed to be impassive throughout this whole situation.

"I... fine... I will back down..." She said as she looked at Astraea who has finally recovered from the sand in her eyes. Immediately Astraea looked up and glared at Megumi and the mysterious White Ranger with sore, red eyes before drawing her blade and attempting to slash at the White Ranger's back.

As Bardock proceeded down the stairs he felt a cold chill go down his spine as he finally reached the bottom. The room at the bottom was a rather lengthy, and cold enough to warrant spikes and a bridge of ice. Bardock looked down at the ice bridge which was forming the only path along a large pit of icy cold spikes. Adorning this room was also needle thin beams of ice crossing across the entire room. With a warm chuckle Bardock began to hover above the ground while he held his left hand out in front of him, with palm open.
"Well this is the best you've got? Ice? This is going to be a cake-walk. I can just melt this ice with an energy blast, and fly over the pit! Now just need to charge a sufficiently powerful blast and..." He said as he began to charge a powerful blast of Ki to clear the room before flying to the other side.

"The ice is the only thing keeping the door open on the other side~ Plus that strange stuff that seems to be blocking the door is Inerium. No energy will effect it but you can just walk through it. But if the ice breaks... A big old slab of Forterium seals off the door! No amount of force is going to break it down, plus it's only weakness is covered by Inerium... sooooooo...."

Unlike most escort missions John had participated in, it seemed that this one would have a much faster pace, due to even their slowest member being faster than most. John was satisfied with the solid 20 mph Eve could run. With a pace like that, the group would be our of the Manor in no time.
"That's good. Keep that pace, and we'll follow alongside and in front of you.", John said to Eve before turning to the rest of the group.
"I'm opening the door. Once it's open, Mima will take point, followed by me and Mara, then Eve. Get ready.", John said.
After speaking, John turned his attention to the large doors in front of them. Wasting little time, John quickly placed his hand on the door and pushed it open as quickly as possible, quickly pulling out his Battle Rifle and aiming down the hall, covering Mima in the event that anything jumped at her.
