Manor of Eternity - Sanctuary of Light

Holding better her portal gun, Mara looked at the armored soldier, but spoke towards the electronic woman "Just give me a wall and a place to land, with that we can cross a big chunk of this place in seconds" she offered already mappibg the place in her head "One warning though, physics like to make jokes, so if you can easily get sick, please don't throw up to the others"

(Oh crap, I forgot to update my location tag. I'm sorry, but we might need to go back and edit them a little. :()

"That might be helpful if we need a quick escape route, but we're almost there anyway. It's just beyond that giant door. Can your portal gun allow us to pass through objects?", Cortana asked Mara.

As the group walked, they soon neared the giant door to the main room. As they approached, John put his weapon away and walked over to it, readying himself to force it open again.

Mara pondered about it for a moment "Unless you find a hole with the size of a disk to send one of the gates, then I can´t help you with it, but if you want a cannonball to force open the door, I can use the ceiling and floor to make soldier boy fall indefinitely until shooting him in mach speed" she couldn´t help but smirk

"That would be quite fun, care to test this idea?" the bioroid offered with a glint of excitement for testing.

((Kristia need for you on Alcyon. Once you post for Alcyon I'll post for the other locations.))

"Whatever the plan is, as long as it will get us out of this location as fast as possible, then I take part in testing this idea." Eve replied in her robotic voice as she was getting prepared to test Mara's plan. However she was also a bit cautious... and unbeknownst to her, Hajime was slowly waking up. Indicated by a low groan coming from Hajime. Though Eve did not seem to pay much attention to it...

Understanding the situation, the duo walked as calmly as possible to follow Bardock, the bioroid being in front as her eyes traced the best path for the precarious stability of the bridge, Runa walked touching wherever the black haired woman put a foot

John was relatively calm and stoic throughout most of this "adventure", but there was something about what Mara had said that conjured up memories from his past, such as the time he performed a low-orbital drop from a Forerunner ship and rode a piece of shrapnel, or when he fell down from orbit onto Requiem.

After remembering this, John's posture slightly changed to a slightly less serious one as he turned around to face Mara.

"No.", John said, deeply emphasizing the word before turning back around and facing the door readying himself to open it, as well as waiting for Cortana to adjust his armor's parameters.

"That sounds incredibly dangerous, stupid, and inefficient, especially when he can probably already open the door himself." Mima commented. "It's like trying to kill a fly with a planet-sized hammer."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

("Touched a nerve, huh? interesting") thought Mara as the soldier prepared to open the door, what she did expect though would be a negative reaction from anyone with the spirit female pointing out something that was obvious about her idea. "You are probably right, but might as well enjoy what we can find with this last moments of the galaxy" even though what she said could be of hopelessness, she was calm and actually excited for facing anything

Crash Site

"In layman's terms, yes. If you had any remote explosives, or something similar, it would help." SiMo said as it walked down the dark, industrial hallway that lied beyond the door, but it looked like a dead end. As SiMo neared the end, a grinding sound eurpted from the dead end, as the walls slowly split, revealing a large control room as blue light poured into the hallway.

Beyond the control room, through the window that went all across the room was the core, a huge blue sphere of liquid-like energy, held in place by several rotating rings, generating a containment field. SiMo went up to one of the many terminals that lied orderly in the room, and began typing extremely fast, code spurring down the terminal's small screen lightning fast.

Mima narrowed her eyes a little at Mara. "That's pessimistic, truly, and you're talking to an evil spirit, we're sort of creators of that kind of thing. The galaxy ain't gonna end yet. I'll probably see it at some point, but you, I doubt."

"You are probably right by being close to immortality, but" Mara smiled looking at the spirit "The rules of life can be bent with the right moves and using what we mortals have as resources to keep moving forward, I´m an example of that", what she said wasn´t something to brag because the bioroid wouldn´t for anything to happen to her memory to forget that she was more a biological machine than any other being, only scarce parts of her were actually of her original body.

"One thing I wonder thought, how to keep on going after such a long time, some lose sanity with only some decades, what do you do to keep such a calm soul and mind?" the white haired woman asked Mima
