Speak her name as loud as possible? Lavender stood in front of the giant gate, feeling her legs wobble. Something about this situation made her a bit nervous and even queasy as she brought her legs closer to support each other. She felt, for the first time in her life, something called fear.
"M- my name is Lavender..." Lavender said to the gate, a bit quiet at first but gaining enough confidence to say it loud enough for the gate to respond. "My name... is Lavender, and I need this gate to open, p-please!"
Sky Spear Tree | Tenma's Court
Kazeane didn't answer. She just grabbed onto Takeshi as he took her to the river to the north. It was the river that she frequented to for swimming before the Tenma became all overly protective of her: a pretty little creek with gentle currents covered by the jungle to hide her from any prying eyes. Perhaps the cold, clear waters there will cool Kazeane down.

After Lavender stated her name, a loud click could be heard as she door sprang to life and seemingly opened on its own, but when it did open, it revealed a giant metal guardian standing in Lavender's path. This 30 foot tall bronze-colored metal man had an axe for one hand and a warhammer for the other. Its face wore a rather cold, neutral expression and its intimidating presence was only augmented by the hot steam billowing out from its back and the sides of its arms. The giant mechanical being lurched forward upon seeing Lavender and leaned over her, towering over her. It seemed as if the giant automaton was staring straight into Lavender, but just as suddenly as it had lurched forward, it suddenly stood aside and moved out of Lavender's way, allowing her safe passage through the door.
Meanwhile, Azeruk simply stared at the girl before grabbing the straps on his heavy 100 pound backpack and removing them from his shoulders, causing the heavy bag to land hard on the ground with a loud clunk as the heavy metal inside shuffled about. After that, Azeruk rather calmly pulled a heavy looking black throwing knife out from his leg pouch and held it in his hand before speaking.
"I don't really know what you mean by 'guardian', but you did just screw up my home. It's never a good idea to bother a chronomage.", Azeruk rather calmly, rather venomously said to the intruder.
River | Near Tenma's Court
It didn't take long for Takeshi to arrive at the river Kazeane spoke to Takeshi about. After landing on his feet with a soft thud, Takeshi quickly walked over to the river and carefully stood her up.
"I'd dunk you in the river, but you don't want to get your clothes wet. We can't create any evidence that we were out here.", Takeshi urgently said to Kazeane.

The blond girl, rather than showing any signs of fear simply smiled and laughed at the boy's attempt at being intimidating. "Time has little meaning to me. Listen kiddo, put your little toys away and you might just grow old enough to actually master your element, Since you're clueless i guess i'll have to fill you in. This tower, or rather whats left of it was built back in the second era the dwarves built it as a place of residence for a powerful chronomancer. But during the fourth era it was given a lot more meaning. Theres a powerful book, a tomb of untold power and knowledge somewhere inside this tower and i'm here to collect it. Now tell me have you seen anything like this or do i need to rip this place apart searching for it?"

Zena followed the trail through the pine grove, hoping they were traveling down the correct path. She didnt' mind Saru's accidental yelling in her ears but it did make her flinch a bit. As the road Zero made a suggestion and a rather wise one at that. were they all to explain their fighting abilities to one another it would improve their team work. They would have to work together to bring down that dragon and it wold be much easier if they understood one another. "Umm ok I'm an elf and i'm a paladin. I use light magic and specialize in slaying undead but i can also use my magic to heal myself and others." She explained as she waited for the next person to take their turn.

She then responded to the others about the other question "I´m a fox Yaju, specialized in speed, scouting and stealth as my animal side helps me. As for my magic, I´m an hydromancer, controlling most of the liquids and can change them to their frozen states" she answered while opening her cloak to show the several vials of liquids strapped on her belts.

Lavender fell on her behind when she saw the giant guardian for the first time. No way in hell did she expect anything like this giant statuesque machine to hide behind the gate. She could only watch in fear as the giant seemingly came after her. As it closed in on her, the more and more fearful she became as she clenched her eyes and instinctively put up her hands to protect herself-
But the anticipated strike did not come. When Lavender opened her eyes, she noticed that the giant automaton instead gave way for Lavender to continue onward.
"H- huh?" Lavender wiped her eyes in disbelief. She stared at the unmoving automaton for a few seconds, then stood up to get going. She could feel something wet down under: she had wet herself due to the extreme terror she experienced, but it didn't seem to phase her too much as she walked beyond the gateway to see what's beyond it.
River | Near Tenma's Court
The river that Takeshi took Kazeane to was an unimpressive creek: far too insignificant to even be labeled on the map. However, it was still deep enough to swim in without worrying about bare skin scratching across the rocks on the river bottom.
Kazeane resisted the urge to immediately pounce on Takeshi when he let Kazeane back onto a standing position. What he said made sense: if she came back home with her dress soaking wet, fellow Yajus' suspecting gazes and Tenma's scolding would inevitably come. To put that issue aside, Kazeane would have to undress. While it was customary for Yajus to swim wearing as little as possible, undressing in front of Takeshi when her whole body was in heat was rather... risky.
"Y- yeah... I guess I have to... take this stuffy dress off..." Kazeane gasped, looking back at Takeshi with her face as red as an apple. "Are you gonna swim too... Takeshi?"

When a catastrophe strikes, do not flee. Take your business and go towards it, for there will always be someone foolish enough to also go to try and stop it and will most likely be ill-equipped for the task and will need supplies.
Supply and demand.
Sanctuary -> Pine Grove
Achlys's stall was mostly spared from the destruction the undead dragon wrought, with only some rubble cluttering the area. Aion managed to find his way back through what crowds of worried people remained and saw the elf woman fussing over her wares that were trapped under stone and wood. "You all right?" It was the first thing that came out of his mouth once he evaluated the damages. He half expected her to ask what took him so long, in which he would have told her about how he found the herbs and then got stuck under some rubble which he only escaped thanks to a freak accident with his chronomancy. However, she didn't ask.
"No- No I'm not alright. We lost the hats."
"...the hats?"
"The hats! The ones that I could have sold for a lot."
"Oh the extremely cheap-" Achlys's face flushed red as she tensed up, seemingly crushing the rock she had pulled off of some of the wares. "Right so I'll start salvaging-"
"No time. We're leaving. Now." Aion stood staring at Achlys with part of a wooden frame of a nearby building in his arms.
"What?"
"We're going after the dragon."
"Why?" Achlys had finished hooking up the wagon that served as the mobile shop and their home to their two horses and had gotten into the driver's seat. She merely looked at Aion as if it should be obvious.
"Rule 41, we're going to help future customers." The expression on Aion's face was that of disbelief.
"Have you lost your mind? Didn't you see how big that thing was? It's my job to protect you and I can't prote-"
"Yes it is your job to protect me, so you better get moving and stop whining. Time's a-tickin'." A low, frustrated growl was Aion's response as he begrudgingly got into the seat next to her.
"One day, Achlys. One day." He then smiled and chuckled at the situation as he saw Achlys smiling triumphantly.
The roar told them which way to go and they headed for the pine grove.

As the temporarily deafened Saru was riding on Zena's horse, he turned as he saw the other Yaju trying to tell him something by yelling. He could barely hear what the fox yaju was saying unfortunately, even with her yelling back at him. So all he replied was with a loud "WHAT!?"
While Saru yelled that he looked forward as he noticed the tower, thankfully his hearing was beginning to come back as indicated by the ringing beginning to go away. As his hearing was returning he could hear the faint voice of Zena asking what she was and what she was capable of. Being able to make it out slightly, he crossed his arms and straightened his posture.
"I AM SARU OF THE APEX VILLAGE OF WUKONG AND MEMBER OF THE TEMPLE OF APEXIS! I HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF COMBAT THAT MY ELDERS HAVE TAUGHT ME! I WILL BE OF HELP!!!" Saru yelled once more, even though his hearing was beginning to slowly return.

The black and white yaju was checking the inventory of her vials and answered for the elf female "I was talking with Molack on the forge, he was talking about Zena as his daughter even though they don't share a blood bond" she spoke and looked at the group.
"Now we need to make a plan on reaching the castle, entering without alerting guards and discover who is behind the curtains by being the puppeteer" Nera laid out the primary objectives "We need to be fast though, that dragon may start going away again."

Azeruk did not know who this girl was, but he was not about to simply let her destroy his home. If she was going to do so, it would be over his dead body. Instead of anger, Azeruk felt resolve against this new threat. Right as Azeruk was about to throw his knife at the threat and accelerate it towards her, he suddenly heard a voice echo throughout his head.
"Remember... Control your surroundings... Think boy... think..."
Azeruk carefully considered his position. He was not in a good place to get into a fight. Now was clearly not the time, nor the place, meaning that he had only one choice. In that moment Azeruk froze, but after resuming motion, he slowly put away his knife and conceded.
"You can follow me, but I must ask, who are you and why do you want the book?", Azeruk asked the strange girl.
After that, Azeruk looked to the guardian near the doorway and spoke to the metal behemoth.
"Take Lavender deeper inside. I don't want her with us at the moment."
After speaking, the Guardian slowly followed Lavender and passed over her, leading her deeper into Azeruk's home.

"Heh, I probably would under other circumstances, but as you are, that is a huge 'no'. I know enough to know that stripping myself down and hopping into a creek with the Tenma's daughter in extreme heat is just asking for trouble. I'm pretty sure I would get into serious trouble if anything were to happen.", Takeshi half-jokingly remarked to Kazeane.
To be honest, it was ever-so-slightly tempting to him to join in the waters, but he knew that it left him open to temptation, and he had no idea how the Tenma would react if he were to give into that temptation. Best to avoid Kazeane as much as he could.
