The RP Resort! (OOC)

Hello and welcome to my latest project! The RP Resort! This 'RP' is essentially a replacement/modification of the RP Bar (I asked Tewi and S1 about it and they said go ahead.) So this is basically a RP where you can bring in any character from any RP, Video Game, Television Show, Anime, or you name it. Though the main difference is that this is taking place at a interdimensional resort with all sorts of shit. Instead of just a bar. So options are FAR more open.


INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Starshine Interdimensional Resort! Here at Starshine Resort we hope to provide a relaxing vacation for anyone who needs it. No matter the dimension they were originally from, they are welcomed!

The resort is home of many different amenities to provide people with the perfect 'dream' vacation they ever wanted. You want a beautiful walk on the beach? Go ahead! We have the cleanest and most perfect beach imaginable. With clear waters that seem to go on for eternity. We have the most amazing theater for plays and actual films! You want it? We have it!

We have a paintball arena that changes each day to make things interesting, a tennis court, golf course, and god knows what. You name it, we have it here at the Starshine Resort! For we hope to please!




Notes:

1:In this RP you don't really need an app for a character unless it's a character that has gone unused in any of the RP's. In other words if the character in question has not been used in any of the RP's here on Yukkuricraft. You need to fill out a simple application form. If you decide to bring in a character from an RP. Just state who the character was, and which RP they were from. As long as it originally belonged to you."

2:The staff at the Resort is not going to be controlled by me and most of the staff aren't going to be entirely important aside for a few exceptions.

Said exceptions are as follows:


Some characters might have been at the resort for quite some time and have gotten a job during their stay so they can have some pay to help well... pay for things at the resort if they did not bring their own money (the resort accepts all sorts of currency!)

A few named NPC's that won't have much in terms of actual 'plot' relevance aside from the owner of the resort who I'll go into detail once the RP starts going a little.

And last but not least... Someone just wants to make a new member of the Resort Staff. Whether they are chief of one of the Staff's branches (like pool maintenance to Room Cleaning service.)


3: This Resort and RP in general is taking place in a sort of... 'in-between' dimension that exists outside of all the others. Time flows differently. So technically a week in the resort could be like... not even an hour in other universes. Then again this isn't going to be considered canon to anything in any of the RP's. So don't worry about things.


4: This may not have a serious plot unless one wants to have a sort of story arc for their characters. There are 'planned events' at the resort (ranging from full resort tag, scavenger hunt, and various other things.) If you have an idea for a planned event for the resort... go for it! Just be sure to let me know first in advance >->


5: The resort has a lot of different amenities (essentially a desirable feature that one would probably expect from a resort), but their are different living quarters. There are villas (essentially houses on their own located outside of the resort itself but is still a part of the resort), hotel rooms, suites, and if one likes they can easily just camp out in the open field far in the back of the resort if they wanted.


6: If there is something you'd want from the resort, the resort probably has it. It has a hospital, it's own supermarket, tennis court, paintball arena, theater/restaurant, bar, INDOOR WATER PARK. Each of which has been SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND GOD KNOWS WHAT KIND OF PUNISHMENT. But don't worry. There are still rules that one would expect at the resort like "no running by the pool" "no food and drinks at the pool', and 'no killing others on the resort."


7: NO STREAKING EVERYWHERE ON THE RESORT! Unless there is a good reason behind it like... a monkey stole your clothes and you have to chase after it, or something like that. So if there is going to be a character running around butt naked. Please do it for comedy and not for sexual stuff, and don't go describing their nude body in detail... please. We need to keep these things relatively safe.

NPC Character of Choice: Luto

Game of Origin: Elsword

Power: Most of his powers are unknown, but one thing that is for certain is he has manipulation over time much the same as Glaive. The difference though is that he refuses to use his time and space manipulation due to the sheer amount of consequences it can have. Aside from that his magic is also much more grand in scale. Ranging from simple spells such as fire balls, to more advanced scales such as summoning and creating things such as animated knights and powerful magicians called the "Guardian Knight of Trials", and the "Guardian Magicians of Trials." He uses these two beings he summons as his own personal fighters to fight for him. He can even change the age of other people, and even objects though he also refuses to do this as he finds it pointless. He can't change his own age though due to how old he is. (Said to be well over a thousand years.) Other than that not much else is known. In fact only a few people actually met him in person, let alone heard of him. Aside from players of Elsword that is...

He also may be extremely old and frail, but he isn't exactly human either so he is actually quite resistant to magical based damage. Luto also possesses some telekinetic abilities (just basic ones such as being capable of lifting objects of up to 4 tons. Though this can be taxing on him.)

Weapons: None except a odd Keyblade (as seen in his picture below in the smaller photograph. It's kind of hard to see though.) He may say this keyblade is just that. A keyblade, nothing special. However due to his extensive age he has to use it as a vessel to focus his power. As with it he can use his magic of time and space manipulation, and his summoning magic. It sort of is the key to his powers at his current age since his body can no longer handle the strain of using his magic without it. He also uses it as a nifty cane to help him walk.

Weaknesses: Unknown, but he does have the same weaknesses as Glaive (I.E he has a lot of magical power, but he is quite frail like a human but not to the extent that Glaive is.) He may be able to resist a large amount of Magical Damage, but he can't really withstand physical pain all too much due to his frail old body (Which if he was human he would have the physical health of a standard 80 year old human male of average health.) This reason is why he refuses to fight aside from the fact that he finds fighting to be a pointless endeavor. He also may not be restricted like Glaive when it comes to being able to tamper with the history of space and time, but he refuses to due to the consequences doing such things can have. This does not stop him from flat out physically appearing anywhere he wishes to, as long as he finds that he is needed in a certain time and place. Meaning if there is no point of him being somewhere then well... he won't freaking be there.) Also along with his old age he has quite a surprisingly low amount of stamina. He also may be eternal (he can live forever), but he can still die from physical harm. Hell he isn't even truly immortal. Eventually he will die, and someone will need to replace him... hence why he has Glaive.

In short he has very powerful magic even surpassing Glaive, but when it comes to physical strength, endurance, and stamina he is not all too strong. He also refuses to take part in anything, and prefers to make Glaive do all the work. That doesn't stop him from dropping in now and then just to have a little fun.

Personality: Luto is mysterious, and somewhat threatening. He also is a bit like your traditional "grumpy elderly man", seemingly complaining or making some sort of snide remark about something trivial. Despite this he knows what is important, and can be quite serious when he needs to be. Truthfully though he can be quite kind, and even endearing to others... that is if they are deserving of his kindness.

Morality: Neutral/Good. He does what it takes to try and keep all timelines in check, though he mostly has Glaive to do all the hard work for him.

Biography: Next to nothing is known about Luto. He has been around for far longer than Glaive. To the point where only Glaive knows a bit of his past. This is because Luto took his history "out of the timeline" of sorts. It's still in tact, but the only way for anyone to see his past is to find the "Fragmented Dimension Keys of Trials." Objects that he had scattered throughout the outside of Time and Space. There are about 10, and each one contains a bit of history about his origins.

Luto also has close ties to Glaive, in fact he could be considered to be Glaive's superior. He is currently trying to help Glaive by keeping the timelines from getting any worse due to the time travel incident with Takoizu and Jack (Wonder's Jack.) Though he actually isn't doing anything, he is more like... advising Glaive.

Currently in this RP he has made this resort because he has grown quite 'bored' much like Glaive. After all watching the same stuff for multiple eternities wears thin. So he decided to make things not so boring by well... making a resort and inviting people to it. Hence why any character you can imagine can be at the resort.

Traumas: Unknown. Though there are obvious trauma's from his past from before he truly became who he is. Though these trauma's are unknown as he had fragmented his origins from his part of his timeline, thus hiding it from anyone... that isn't preventing anyone from finding the Fragmented Dimension Keys of Trials. (Hint hint I will be giving these out randomly to those who can solve some puzzles later on in the story. Whoever gets the most will receive a special prize from me!!! There are 10 of them so be aware and keep an eye out in the IC of ATWAG!!! [Me failing to make a Elsword style Event quest.])

Notes: Like I said above, and in part of the app. The information on his abilities, and personality are all fanon as there is literally little to NO info on such things. But due to his appearance he does seem to have some ties to Glaive.

1: No godmodding, powergaming, and metagaming. Please no. This may be a pretty meta RP to begin with, but there are just some basics. So your character should not know info they SHOULD NOT KNOW. Meaning if it's a character from a RP, they should not know info regarding like... the end stuff of that RP. Characters may not know about other characters unless they were from the same universe and have ACTUALLY MET IN THEIR UNIVERSE!!


2: Please keep stuff PG-13. At least when it comes to sexual stuff. So don't go describing things in detail regarding say... a person's nude body or sexual acts. MENTION of sexual acts can be... okay if not done often. Like. You can mention that your character got laid the night before or something. But don't go into detail PLEASE. Basic ecchi stuff is allowed though.

Not sure what to put here, bringing in Frisk and Yukari from ATWAG and Seki from Sanctuary. Also might bring THE GREAT PAPYRUS! depending on how things go.

Oh, Oh, Oh! Can I bring Heroboy (Yosho Ki'Sing from Fantasia) and throw him in a calm relaxing situation that he would find completely unnerving and uncomfortable.....like a resort?!

Favored Weapon: Nightsplitter* -- Thin, sharp greatsword.

History:
Yosho Ki'Sing is a legendary figure on his home world. His skill with a blade, despite being at such a tender age, is unmatched, and he's credited for personally ending the war-between two major City-States. While most of his credited fame comes from happenstance he still is blessed with the gift of getting up, and going out to do something. After Ending the War between the two city-states, Yosho was married to a daughter of his rivaling state as a political arrangement, much to his dismay. He doesn't care for politics, as they're slow, and get things done less efficiently than stabbing and slashing.

While engaged, Yosho had to sit around for months, waiting for propaganda, and word of mouth to carry his "Victory" to the other city-states to make it seem like he did indeed bring the City of Grey's Mark to its knees, instead of stumble into a surprise wedding. During this time, it was suggested by his friend, (who just so happened to also be employed in Grey's Mark's military, that Lying, a**hole!!!) he undergo a "Quest". Where do you find quests? A Tavern! While this was simply a means to attempt to get the young man drunk, Yosho picked up on the first bit of information they were presented with. Grey's Mark's formation was when the Sword Nightsplitter fell from the sky like a heavenly bolt of divine righteousness, sundering the earth for kilometers and making the large chasm it was now. Yosho desided that was good enough as any to be a quest, and the two men went down into the deepest portions of the city, sword the sword was indeed found, simply laying there.

Yosho now came into possession of a divine relic that was once the chosen weapon of the Angel of Balance, Tahi Relle. But what did that mean to him? He didn't care for the religious banter of other people. He just wanted to go home where things were familiar. He would spend hours upon hours simply training with his new sword, Nightsplitter. Something about the blade felt "correct". His betrothed suggested it was because the weapon was a divine relic, and when she held the blade herself she agreed it was comfortable, but seemed to lack the connection with the blade Yosho had. It got to the point where Yosho would sometimes forget he had the blade with him--rather, he knew it was there, but did not consider it a blade. It was like an extension of himself. Others around him attested to the fact that, unless he was wielding it as a blade, they too would simply forget about it being worn on his back. It had become a part of him.

Days before the marriage, his betrothed suggested he choose a Angel to bless and sanctify their wedding. She knew Yosho wouldn't care for something like that, but she wanted him to be involved, or at least give the bewildered boy a chance to be. It was traditional for Angels of Corris, the Goddess of Harmony and Life, to offer their blessing at a wedding. Yosho didn't know any Angels besides the Angel of Dreams, and the Angel of Balance--both of which did not speak to mortals, or so people thought until Yosho suggested Tahi be the one to offer her blessing. As if an afront to the world trying to tell him he couldn't do it, Yosho sought out an audience with the Angel of Dreams, who he'd seen before as a child. He knew that a mortal couldn't speak with Tahi, but maybe Cataminei could? Certainly, the Sleeping Angel could speak freely with Tahi, and through several meetings, the religious bombshell was dropped that Tahi Relle gave her blessing to Yosho of Klaime and Juhani of Grey's Mark's wedding.

However, the religious upheaval and circumstances around that don't matter. This is a story about Fantasia. Yosho comes to find that, en route, for lack of a better term, to see Cataminei, he spends a portion of time somewhere that is not his home world, or Cataminei's Dream World. Cataminei suggests maybe he has been traveling through it all along, and its nothing to worry about, but Yosho, being the worry-wart he is, decides to explore, and understand this traveling process, or circumstance. As he spends more time simply waiting, he begins to wonder about the world he lives in more, prompting him to ask Cataminei more questions about it. The more questions he asks, the more he visits Fantasia, for longer and longer until one time, he remembers the world.

Personality: Despite his youth, Yosho is stoic and bland. Years of Fighting and war have robbed him of his childhood, and he doesn't seem to see anything wrong with this. He's most comfortable with a sword in his hands, particularly Nightsplitter. He's a bit of a smart ass when dealing with things he either doesn't care about or doesn't like, due to his "friend's" personality rubbing off on him over the years. He's Hard working and motivated to help others, usually disregarding his own sanity and health to achieve those means.

Appearance: Yosho is a young, short man with brown hair that is usually kept well, but can easily become disheveled by his lifestyle. In his world, he is seen wearing armor, or a military grade jacket; tight, movement restricting things that remind you you're wearing them. He is always seen with Nightsplitter. Either in hand, or worn on his person. He's fairly handsome, currently retaining some of that boyish charm while taking strides into manhood. His flat personality general gives him that "serious warrior" look.

In Fantasia, Yosho remains the same, except that he is without armor, and Nightsplitter is only half-way there. The veiwer would be able to note that no sword is actually there, but would confirm that not only does he move like the sword is actually there, but its very presence seems to warn that the boy isn't unarmed. Yosho is completely unaware (At first, at least) that, when not physically holding Nightsplitter, it is not actually there. When he reaches back to grab it, it materializes to be grabbed. When he sheathes it, it fades away as its no longer needed.

Strenghts: Yosho's one true strength relies in his ability to swing a sword, and swing a sword pretty damn well. He is unimaginably quick and skillful with a blade, and that was before receiving Nightsplitter. The Thin, razor sharp sword only seems to compliment his abilities as a swordsman.

Nightsplitter has become so much a part of Yosho in his own mind that, despite being simply Impotens, Yosho can materialize Nightsplitter.

Weaknesses:
Yosho's one true strength is swordsmanship....and not much else. He is unskilled with Magic, logic puzzles, doesn't care about politics or the thought processes involved, and has no idea how anything works outside the tip of his blade. He's been a warrior and a soldier for most of his teenage and adult life, leaving his mind and skills cloistered and unrefined.

While he can materialize Nightsplitter, his utter disregard for himself and his own desires makes it impossible for him to bring about anything else. It could be questioned that perhaps Nightsplitter is bringing itself into existence, and not Yosho bringing it.


*Nightplitter: Nightsplitter is the sword once used by Tahi Relle, before it was discarded in favor of a different, more efficient blade. Despite being discard, the sword is made from the same divinity that made the Angel of balance, and it can never truly be lost or destroyed. It is made from pure divinity; it cannot be destroyed or warped beyond what the Angel of Balance herself deems acceptable. Its razor sharp edge never dulls, and despite being simply iron, is incredibly light. Physical analysis of the sword would reveal it to simply be a sword made of common iron. Unless the divinity of the object was somehow measured, the sword doesn't hint at how, or why it defies what should be physically possible.

This doesn't mean is can do the impossible, however. If wedged between to objects to pry them free, it might simply punch a hole in one of the objects if they are so firmly stuck together. Its inability to be changed can be a detriment, as well. If Yosho, for example, has his size changed, Nightsplitter will not change with him. Divine Authorities (Beings such as God(earth) or someone who has authority over the divine law of that universe) can--and know they can--ask Nightsplitter to "leave" temporarily, and the blade will Vanish. This is because Nightsplitter is part of Tahi Relle, the Angel of Balance. If she has any degree of respect for the petitioning being, she will accept as she has no jurisdiction outside of her own universe.

Hmm. Alayosho. You may use Yosho.

................. I really havent been on because posts in rps have basically stopped and now this pops up? I think before doing new projects, we finish ones that r "going on at the moment" so to speak.

and various other things like working on the MC Server to get it ready for the major update to 1.10. WHICH AS I SHOULD NOT. Requires some good help from the staff as the server is in Whitelisted Maintenance since some stuff broke when some thing did some things.

We would try and finish them, but we can't when others are unable to post. This was meant to be something just to keep others who have nothing to do in the RP's to well... actually do aside from just waiting. Also before you say 'just post in that one arc in ATWAG" or something. Well... we can't go too far in that because it will effect the amount of time that has passed in the over all world which could conflict with things going on in other arcs in the RP.
