First answer to your first question.

It really determines on the biology of a race. Most demons usually age at a slower rate depending on when they were born or created. Fully blooded demons age much slower than humans. So basically like...
They tend to have a rather early growth spurt before they hit a age wall where their aging stops. So like for the first 5-10 years of a full blood demon they will age like a human. Then it takes 10 years for said demon to grow in the same amount a human would grow in one year. Same goes for demons that created through contracts, as usually the soul of a human or other being that is taken by a Crossroad Demon's contract, is usually then turned into a demon soul which is given a physical form. Usually matching the age at which it is taken, then ages slowly like a demon.

Dwarves for example are kinda the opposite. They tend to age much like humans, but once they reach a certain age (like in their 50's-80's) they tend to start to... age more slowly. So it'll take much longer time for their hair to start to turn gray and stuff.

In short...

Aging for races can be weird and much different than humans. Always got to consider that.

Second question. Probably quite a good while ago. Doesn't mean that everyone will INSTANTLY know of every race. They might be FAMILIAR with races, but there are so many races of different cultures that are similar to each other. For example there are fox-spirits like Kitsune in other cultures people might be familiar with. So it would be hard to just immediately know, so some people will just not make assumptions. Some people (like Drake) just doesn't care about what race you are. As long as you aren't a total dick, you're good with him.

For example there are many different types of vampires in many different cultures. Like the strigoi (Romanian mythology) Some strigoi can be living people with certain magical properties. Some of the properties of the strigoi include: the ability to transform into an animal, invisibility, and the propensity to drain the vitality of victims via blood loss. Much like traditional vampires, however Strigoi have more complex means in mythology to dispatch them. As well as differences in how a strigoi is born (either through execution of a person, dying without being married, and various other odd things that must happen before or during death of the person, compared to vampires which are either born a vampire, or turned into one by another vampire or a curse.)


Andrew is also a case of a human who knows of other races, he just doesn't bother to make immediate assumptions about a beings race because it'd just be kinda rude.


Others just might not be familiar with the races in person, only knows of them from what they've read, but sometimes in the world around them in actuality, things could be vastly different. So it is safe to assume that even if the merge happened quite a while ago, not everyone will be familiar with things.
Hell some people before coming to the university, were too busy with things to do research on various races and species of magical beings.

In short...

I dun fuckin kno when the merged happened exact. I think it was some time ago. That's just my two cents on things.

ALSO AS A IMPORTANT HEADSUP FOR LILY'S CHARACTER CASSIDY. If she hasn't mentioned it already, Cassidy does have hands. Just because the image that Lily made doesn't show cassidy with hands, doesn't mean she lacks any hands. Cassidy does have hands, it's just a real pain to draw good looking hands.

Cass will be put in the same dorm as Zekai's character Chiha, and Tewi's Primula.

I made her for the sole perpose of being an interpretor of Cass, but she does pull pranks and does her own things too XD she is also not based off of lu but Karis the bi- i mean witch of a demon in elsword :P

apps look alright to me if not a bit silly. But a little silliness isn't a bad thing. anyway as of now i'm not accepting anymore applications for students as I don't want to deal with fixing new dorms and stuff now that most characters already have their keys and since most dorm rooms are full. If you want to add more characters later on please come talk to me about it first before making an app or send me a PM on the forums.

Im gonna Pull Marcus from the RP at least for now.

Work's been a bit too much lately, so sometimes I hardly feel like playing the other games I have. Today I spent the day throwing up and with shakes due to lack of sleep cuz one newest employee "Can't work because she's sick".

Until things actually get stable at work, I can't garuntee responces or attention, so I don't wanna hold yall back ;)
