Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

"Ah-... ha-... al- alright then. I'll help leaf pack." Lyrica caught her breath and walked over to Leaf. "Do you mind if I let my two Pokémon out to stretch and help pack?" She held the two Pokeballs at the ready.

With a silent smile, Roark left the house.
Roark's room was tidy, like his personality. The bed was neatly made so that anyone can fall asleep on it comfortably. There was a small dresser and a bookshelf next to the bed, and on top of the dresser stood a wardrobe. A small desk was across the bed, and on top of it, various Pokemon figurines stood. Other than those basic furnitures, the room was devoid of fancy materials.

"Ha~ Alright then... C'mon out you two~ Diggy and Mystia!" And with a light underhand toss she let out her two pokemon.
"Dril- Drill!"
"Pi-Pi- Pidgey!"
"Happy to be out, huh? When we start traveling I'll leave you guys out, how's that sound?"
The two pokemon both were pleased by this as they agreed heartily to the concept.
"Ha, ok then! Oh and here, I want you to meet some friends here too, Leaf and Crystal."

"Araa- they're so cute!" Crystal bent over to cuddle the Drilbur, while Leaf showed her interest in the Pidgey.
"I've seen plenty of Pidgeys before." Leaf commented as Mystia chirped and flew around happily. "But this one... feels special."

Koishi liked the gym leader's little room. Nothing too fancy, and quite practical and straight to the point. It was a clearly defined room. Koishi then didn't even take off any of her clothes before tucking herself into the bed and pulling out a book from her hat to read, while Snow and Wiggly curled up by her feet. The book was called Hyperion, and she bought it from Rinnosuke before she left. She was around the halfway point of the book, and read quietly, whispering the words as she read, but not loud enough for anyone but her to hear.

Diggy squinted its eyes closed as it found itself being hugged by Crystal. "driiil-"
Then Mystia quickly flew behind Leaf and landed ontop of her head and then looked down at her with a curious look in its eyes. "Pi-pidgey?"
"Teehee, looks like they've taken a liking to you two as well. And I think Mystia is special too, but for different reasons, perhaps? What did you think you notice?"
