John didn't seem to be bothered by the smile. It was an odd smile to John, but he had seen worse. What bothered John more was the fact that this girl heard everything. Was she going to tell people about his plan, or would she keep it to herself?
"Then there is just one question that remains. What will you do with that information?", John calmly asked the girl.

"I dunno. But from what it seems, you have an interesting problem with that Didact fella. So, what will you do if you find him?" Koishi asked, sitting down on a rock.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

John knew what he would do if he found The Didact. John would most likely kill him, but if possible, he would also try to disable Ur Didact's suit and leave him in this world. Of course, if he told the girl this, that was one extra loose end that could bite him in the end. Before answering her question, John decided to ask her a question first.
"What will you do if I tell you?", John asked the girl.

"Aren't you a cute wittle one. Aren't you?" Yuuka stretched Lilac's cheeks, to which Lilac fluttered about. From Yuuka's second Pokéball, Kappa the Lotad appeared.
"Don't we have a mission at hand?" Kappa asked.

Seeing the second member of Yuuka's team appear didn't help Sherry to feel any less comfortable, but it did give her an idea. Perhaps having her wingman on her shoulder would ease her... Unease. She summoned her Taillow, Claire, and watched as the spritely little bird flittered up to a perch overlooking the table. It wasn't much, but Sherry was smiling again.
She understood people, not animals, so whatever the Lotad said was lost on her.
"I hope that food comes in soon. I wouldn't advise going in Team Anarchy's hideout on an empty stomach," Sherry said.

The girl might not have known it, but she had inadvertently triggered a train of thought that John had yet to explore. Just what was he going to do? John was torn between disabling his suit or killing him. Of course, he also needed to collect intel on The Didact and see if he had really changed. Did he change? John doubted it, but it was still a possibility. AS for the girl, perhaps she could be of use. Based on how many pokemon she had, she was experienced. John would be able to quickly pick up information and learn to quickly adapt if she traveled with them. He wanted to promise her that there would be no violence, but there was no way he could do that. For all he knew, The Didact could still be the same person from his world. For all he knew, they would be attacked on sight.

"Well, speak of the devil." Yuuka chuckled as the waiter sauntered back into the cafe building. Kappa and Lilac began to dig in. Lilac was ambivalent towards the sour taste of Mediterranean salad, but Kappa seened to love it. Yuuka did not eat any.
