"But she doesn't come out until winter rolls around, and that's in a week or two. It could go into hiding by then." Marisa said.

"But there are dragons in Gensokyo. Kasen abducted me with one once. Tried to train me in some weird ways of hers." Reimu replied. "Besides, we were chasing the thing all the way here. We saw it with our own eyes.

Human Village

"Yeah, Mystia. That's the sparrow." Nue replied. "She's a bit behind when it comes to making money. That, and the fact that her food is delicious adds to the fact that she could get a lot of customers here."

The back door opened up into the huge hallway that went through the entire palace, floor tiles glowing with magical energy, giving the hallway a purple tint, though in truth, most of the inside was white and black. Koishi headed inside, floating beside the doorway. "We'll talk in a bit."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Utsuho frowned slightly as Koishi flew off. She was somewhat impatient, but she knew that she would have to wait, whether she wanted to or not. Following the rest of the group, Utsuho entered Chireiden.

Yuugi was at the end of the group and looked at the palace's hallways "No wonder it's called a palace, this place is gigantic. Even my house could fit in here without problem" the oni spoke

Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Satori walked inside after everyone else, and closed the door.
She looked around for one of her pets, and walked up to the first one she found, a tiger that was missing one ear.
"As you can see, I'm back, and I brought some guests. Would you kindly put on some tea?"
The tiger left. Satori asked her companions to follow her. She brought them to a smaller room, the walls decorated in purple, pink and white.

Satori sat down. "Please, sit down. Then we can talk."
And, after looking at the oni: "Yes, the Palace is very big. That is one of the features of most palaces, though this is more of a mansion."

Nitori put down her backpack, and sat down. She rubbed her hands. "Now that we have to wait for tea, anyone want to play a game?"

Wriggle's House

Wriggle clicked on a remote control, and a music began to play from number of black metallic boxes Mystia recognized as 'Speakers.' From the speakers, the sound of a piano was heard. Could this be the Outside-world classic music?

"You listen to some refined music." Mystia hummed along the trance tones of the piano.

Wriggle smiled, clairvoyant of Mystia's reaction... "Refined music? I guess... But not by your standard."

For the drop.

Mystia clutched her sensitive ears. "What is this?"

"Dubstep." Wriggle answered, unfazed by the heavy bass drop. She was holding a black, thin metal box with glittering yellow spots on the cover. "Like the drop?"

"Drop? Sure, my heart dropped." Mystia frowned. "Is this what the outside humans listen to?"

"Sometimes. These musics are for parties and clubs." Wriggle answered. She opened the black box, and the screen began to bright up. "I'll turn it down for you."

Mystia frowned. "Why don't you show me around your new house more?"

"Sure." Wriggle closed the black box. "Follow me. Let's go upstairs."

Patchouli visibly slumped and closed her eyes with a soft sigh. If the miko and thief were telling the truth, then there was an incident on the winds. Patchouli hoped this was true, as the miko and thief couldn't keep building a lie when they had nothing to gain, plus the miko wasn't known for being shady and manipulative. Unlike the thief, she had that insufferable human pride and honor about her, which was good in this case. The mage rubbed her temples and paced.

At times she despised it when she offered her assistance. People usually tried to manipulate her or trick her, forgetting that she was one of the brightest bulbs to have ever lit up Gensokyo. Other times, the problem at hand was so trivial to her mind that it pained her to even devote her thoughts and plans to it. But now this was a different situation. There may actually be a dragon out and about, and if its passing caused pain and destruction wherever it went, then it needed to be dealt with. Patchouli, despite her apathetic demeanor towards the lives of others, cared about the residents of the mansion enough to see that they come to no harm.

And... Even she could not deny that this was a wondrous opportunity. A living, breathing dragon of myth! Already she was coming up with questions that she wanted answered, things like what kind of dragon it was, whether or not it breathed fire, average wingspan, and other things. Perhaps she could get a sample of its scales for study.

"I see... Yes, I see now, miko," Patchouli sighed as she opened her eyes, thankful that she had the time to think. "I may be able to create and use a few combined elements spell cards that can assist you, should you have the talent to utilize them. Water and Moon may fit better for your situation than Water and Metal, for the former will be stronger when darkness falls and the phases of the moon can create a stronger elemental water attack. Plus, with the temperature of the water affected by the moon, it will be useful as an offensive strike."

Human Village

"Has Mystia come to a conclusion about her considering opening up a stall?" Byakuren asked. "If not, I believe I should convince her to... try her luck here."

Byakuren was proud of Mystia for her consideration. It wasn't often that a youkai got the thought that they could coexist with humanity instead of terrorizing them, so this was something to be revered. If the little night sparrow were to open up shop here, relations between youkai and humans would improve! Plus, Mystia would be able to earn money and sing, although the latter would have to be controlled as to not bewilder and drive humans mad. Perhaps... It would be better if she didn't sing, Byakuren thought with a sad frown.

"Well, after I talked wit her, she seemed quite sound on the concept." Nue said. "Hopefully she'll go through with it. I hate travelling out so far to get some good food."

"That could be useful. The water could short out it's fire, at least for a time." Reimu replied, giving a little bow. "We are thankful for your assistance. Now, how long would these spellcards take to be made? We are not in the best situation in terms of time." Reimu asked.

Koishi then suddenly appeared next to Satori in a wheeled and cushy swivel chair.

"Ooo, I know, how about tag?" Koishi blurted.

Utsuho was just about to sit at the table, but Koishi's suggestion caused her to shoot straight back up to a stand with a smile on her face. It had been a while since she played a game, so she was excited to participate.

"What do you say Satori? Tag?", Utsuho asked Satori in a happy tone.

Satori frowned. "Tag? Here?"
She looked at the kappa. "That wasn't really what Nitori had in mind when she asked for a game."

"I meant something like shogi or something, not tag." Nitori explained.
"And I still remember the last time you played a game here." Satori chimed in. "I still find pieces of broken statues everywhere."

"Oh, it'll be fine, sis. You worry too much. Besides, we have all this space, and we don't even use it." Koishi replied.
