I am going by general personal archetypes and personalities and say that usually calm and patient characters go rather well. Technically any non-hostile character can go with a shy character if they can get past the shyness, but the calmer and patient ones get to them better. (Coincidentally, Jason seems to be that kind of person)

*starts giggling but ends up outright laughing* Oh man! I totally wasn't thinking about that! XD
Andrew doesn't seem to be inherently shy like Trista is. He seems to be more of the keep-it-cool but DON'T STARE AT ME guy. His stutter and awkwardness derives from that single fear whereas Trista has absolute social anxiety. (I'm honestly surprised I haven't been harsh on Trista and let her have a panic attack yet.) I don't think Andrew is shy but, even if he isn't, a person of that personality described above would do the trick. Wait, couldn't Lynne be perceived as such?

Andrew is not shy one bit. He just does not like it when people stare at him, or the thought of people staring at him. If one does manage to get past his fear, and actually befriend him then he will be less afraid and such. Over the course of the RP (and with the help of a certain someone...) Andrew will be flat out less fearful, and such.

Not what you would expect to happen I guess. Most likely her parents would freak out, pick her up and run 500 meters away just to be sure. It's more in her parents head that she is dangerous.
