"Wh-Wh-What happened here?" Trista worriedly asked to herself. The scene was horrific. How could so much blood be produced in a small amount of time? It was obvious that the woman was badly injured. Trista slowly and cautiously approached the body. This kind of thing had never happened before and Trista was unsure how to deal with it. Lynne stayed behind. She didn't want to get any blood on her or on her sketchpad so she stayed outside of the bloodstained area but close enough so that she could be there for Trista.
Trista looked over the body and could confirm that it was her. Her Sense even giving her a light headache in the process. It wasn't as painful as the previous but it was enough to make Trista know that it was her. When analysing the body, there were no apparent cuts or injuries on her body and it appeared that it was coming from one source. Her finger. How could so much blood escape from her finger? Trista had no idea of what was going on but she knew one thing. This woman needed medical attention and something to seal her cut finger. Trista never thought she would have to do it again, but it appeared that Trista needed to use her magic.
Trista placed her left hand on the woman's finger and focused. Focusing all her will and energy into her hand, Trista began to glow in the same light as before. A white light with hints of a faint blue. Trista continued to focus for another minute. Each of the seconds draining Trista's energy. Starting from merely focusing to completely struggling, Trista focused as much as she could. Sweatdrops forming on Trista's forehead as she put as much energy as she could. Eventually Trista stopped. The light was gone and so was the woman's cut.
Trista heavily breathed from the healing. It took all of her will and energy to do so. Trista couldn't remember the last time she did that. It was too much for her. She could not handle the amount of work needed to heal the woman. So much so that-
Trista gave out a heavy breath before losing consciousness and passing out. Her small, fragile body slumped to the floor, lying in the blood. Lynne quickly saw this and rushed out of the dorms to send for help. Not only was there a person in need of medical attention but her friend had also passed out trying to save the other.
