Room 201A - Female Dormitory - Trinity Soul University <Spira>

Spira let the conversation progress a little without her. She just sat there and listened while at the same time easting her apple. When Christina mentioned that she had moved around quite a bbit she got more interested tough. "You too? I've lived in all kinds of different hotels for most of the life that I can remember" Spira said in her normal voice. She then began to wonder why Christina had moved around so much. When the room flipped she didn't notice until a few seconds after it happened. When she did notice however she was a little shocked. "Hey wait, what's going. What type of trick did you pull" Spira asked in a slightly angry voice.

Trinity Soul University - Shopping District <Sinuda>

After a few minutes talking with the librarian about what a library actually was and then a few more minutes to actually lend the book, Sinuda finally walked out of the Library. She understood now that the just the two districts probably contained so much more than she knew about. The next thing she had to learn was what all of those places actually was and not just look at all of them like stores. Well, that would have to wait for another time. Now she would prefer to just go back to her dorm and do ... ... well what would she do? She didn't really know what she would do. Would she just do what she would always do and read some book? In this case the book she had just gotten from the library. She would have to wait until she got there and decided at that moment.

After a bit of walking she finally reached the dorm where she was supposed to stay. From what she could tell, no one had been there since she left her baggage there. She walked into the room and began to actually take what she had out of her baggage. It wasn't much tough and after a few minutes she was finished. She then began reading the book she had gotten from the library.

Most influenced by the Americas, but there was an exotic touch in there muscled in with some offset grammar, leaving Sarah to believe that Christina was raised somewhere else but learned English as a second language. It was a damn good job by Sarah's standards, as she could only speak but one language. Seeing as the room was set back to normal, the vampire shuddered and felt her body readjust to the room again. She figured the magic that Christina utilized was capable of taking care of a lot of problems, and suffice to say that Sarah was intimidated by it. Without mobility, one was like a sitting duck.

Hearing Christina's question snapped Sarah out of her contemplations. In truth, Sarah hadn't gotten very far in her field, at least nowhere that was worthy of bragging about. She couldn't snap fire to her fingertips or rotate a room. Still, she had a power and she was eager to learn how to use it.

"Well, I'm a dark magic user," Sarah stated. She looked for something to use, speaking all the while. "I dinnae ken what I'm capable of to be honest. At the very least, I can show ya this..."

Concentrating now, the vampire focused on her right hand and held it up. Her red eyes narrowed on her palm until a flicker of black danced across the open surface. Latching onto the spark of energy, Sarah willed more sparks to arise until a small orb of pure darkness appeared in the palm of her hand. With a slow, gentle movement, Sarah crushed the orb of darkness and watched as the essence spilled out onto her hand and coated it in a black latex substance, stopping its spread once it reached the vampire's wrist.

"I'm... Not entirely sure what this is supposed to do," Sarah explained. "I'll have to touch people and hope for the best."

"Calm down, it's just a way to disorient people." Christina chuckled at Spira's irritability. She's going to be fun to tease.

"Well I'm a Dark magic user-"

The statement followed with Sarah's demonstration: A dark energy swirling around her palm that, according to Sarah herself, could do something to person or thing she touches. Interesting power, Christina thought, So many people with fascinating abilities... This is going to be fun.

"And you?" Christina asked Spira. Gotta make sure what people can do around her if she wants to stay safe in these areas.

When the room returned to normal, Spira panicked a little in fear that something else had happened, but then she relaxed again. Then she was asked a second time what her magic type was. Well, she couldn't really complain. Of course she was going to be asked about something like this. "I guess I have fire magic. I don't know too much about it tough. I don't even know what types of magic there are. I've only used my magic twice" she said. Just as last time, the attitude in her voice kind of fell away. Especially during the last sentence. In fact it almost sounded a little sad instead.

Sarah waved her right hand and watched as the darkness that coated it withered up and receded back into a hazy ball of energy. The vampire considered showing off something, perhaps even practicing, but she figured she would get better results by doing so at night. She crushed the ball of energy and felt the darkness seep back into the atmosphere, back where it belonged. For what was light without darkness? Sarah smiled at that and turned back to her two roommates.

It seemed that the two were getting to know each other, but it came as a bit of a surprise to Sarah. By the looks of things Christina hasn't been acquainted with Spira for long. Did she just come in and take a nap without leaving her name, or was there nothing to say between the two? Shrugging, Sarah decided to speak up.

"Say, if ya two dinnae want what the cafeteria offers, I'd be happy ta cook," Sarah offered. "In fact, if ya like salsa, I'll whip up a batch fer tonight."

"Funny thing. I was at the grocery store an hour ago and bought some Tostitos." Christina spoke in a matter-of-fact voice as she pointed at the plastic bag on the kitchen table. "Good, we'll have our first-night-of-the-year feast."

Sarah beamed at Christina's thoughtfulness. When great minds think alike, the possibilities were endless. With chips at the ready and willing tasters eager to unwind, Sarah cemented her desire to make salsa for the night. Perhaps they could all unwind during that time and get to know each other a little better. After all, there was nothing better than food or drink to spur on a conversation.

"Wicked," Sarah exhaled. She turned to glance at Spira for a moment before asking, "Oh, before I forget, is anyone allergic to anything? Any medical things I should know about? No one has haemophobia, right?"

The vampire hoped nobody had an irrational fear of blood, else explaining her status would make things difficult.

"None, really." Christina shrugged as she wondered: Why haemophobia as an example? Must've been the first thing that came up to her mind. "Wow, so you're gonna be our doctor too? Cool."

Dorm 201A - Female Dormitories - Trinity Soul <Spira>

Spira was thrilled about the idea of food. Normally she would just eat her snack all day long except for a few occasions, but this was different. Now she could have a proper meal for once. When Sarah mentioned allergies and haemophobia. She didn't even know what haemophobia was. "Well apart from eating a lot I don't think there are anything special. I don't even know what haemophobia is anyway" Spira said with a slight chuckle at the end.

So, nobody had any pressing concerns or medical problems. Sarah only meant well by asking the question, for she didn't want to come into the room and find someone having a seizure and not know what to do about it. Humans were host to a variety of diseases and defects, none of which were their fault. No one could control what they were born with, so they made the best with what they had. Knowing her roommates health concerns was important, and Sarah didn't want to be caught out of the loop.

Yet, some part of Sarah wanted health information for her own gains. If there was any impurities in her roommates' blood, and if Sarah was driven to do something drastic to sustain herself should her supply run out, she couldn't survive on diseased blood. In fact, drinking diseased blood may as well kill her, if not make her very sick. Disgusted with that thread of thought, Sarah shook her head and made a face before she heard Christina talk about her being some sort of resident doctor. Giving a sheepish smile, Sarah shook her head.

"I... I wouldn't be the best doctor ta be honest," Sarah replied. "I imagine me dark magic can do something if I put me mind to it, but..."

Stop talking, stop talking, stop talking, Sarah screamed in her mind. She needed a distraction, and by the great Loch Ness, she found one in Spira's inquiry.

"Haemophobia is... Well, it's a strong, irrational fear of blood, mate," Sarah explained to Spira. "Fer instance, some people hate needles to the point where they scare the everlivin' daylights outta them. For a haemophobic, seeing blood would drive 'em up a tree."
