2nd Floor Corridor - Female Dorms - Trinity Soul University
As Trista eventually caught up with Kris, the wolf greeted Trista with a smile upon her face. To which Trista liked to see. It meant that the person obviously liked to have Trista around. Appreciated to have her around... Not just simply putting up with her. Or secretly not caring about Trista at all. And that was especially important since this girl, Kris, knew about Trista's powers. What she was capable of and what she was truly like. And having that level of knowledge could not be told about without Trista's awareness. The last thing that Trista wanted was another group of people ridiculing her because of her powers or someone spread rumours about her powers to every single person in the university.
Moving closely to Kris' side, almost within clutching distance, Trista then began to make her reply to Kris.
"I... I'm good." Trista quietly replied. "I was just..." Trista halted in her explanation as she realised what she was attempting to say. The reason Trista found Kris in the first place was because of her curiosity over her Sense especially when it came at a time when she needed it. How could Trista explain that in a public place like the Dormitory Corridor with another person present. For now, Trista just had to lie and explain the truth to Kris at a later time. That is assuming that Kris didn't immediately catch onto the girl's lie.
"I... I-I was just on my way to... to... th-the..." Trista very hesitantly attempted to say to Kris in her lie. If it weren't for Trista's shyness, Kris would have immediately caught onto her lie. Fortunately, her natural stutter and pauses could help to cloak up her attempts to lie. "I.. I was... I was..." But as she tried to make up an excuse, Trista's guilt caught up with her. How could she even lie to someone like Kris? She had been nothing but truthful to Kris. So why should she even lie? In her mix of guilt and embarrassment, Trista's voice was immediately silenced and her figure changed from a straight one to a highly embarrassed and ashamed pose. Her face blushed massively as her shame and shyness took control. Whatever attempts Trista tried to make at speaking were simply changing to tiny whimpers. All Trista could do now was either hope that her confidence would return or just simply run away in embarrassment.
