Ethan was not usually one to show much enthusiasm, but even he had to admit that Alex's dance was impressive. From what Ethan could see, he was not the only one that thought Alex's skill was impressive, as evidenced by some of the people still staring at her after her dance.

"No no, you did good. That was actually very impressive.", Ethan said in a slightly surprised and impressed tone.

"Thank you. I'm flattered." Alex sat and drank her cup clean. She sudenly started blushing. "Funny, I've never danced for a man, you know. It's quite... embarrasing, I guess."

Right then, Nitro returned with a jolly face. Alex sighed in relief; if anyone could kill the awkward mood between the two, it was Nitro.

"How'd it go?" Alex asked as Nitro sat down. "What'd he say?"

"Nothing special. We just talked for a few minutes, and then he had to go work." Nitro answered as she scooched next to Ethan. "We were already broken up anyway. It's no big deal."

To be honest, Ethan felt just a little awkward, but still retained a calm demeanor. After all, it was normal for one to be somewhat awkward around a new person, even more so when giving out a compliment. Just then, Nitro sat next to Ethan with news on her boyfriend. Ethan was confused about what Nitro and Alex were talking about, but he kept silent, only revealing faint traces of what he was thinking on his face. Not wanting to intrude, Ethan simply listened instead of speaking, drinking his orange drink as he listened.

Johnathan thought about it.

"... I just don't want to lose. Not anymore. We were always at a disadvantage drom the very beginning. There were more of them. They knew ways to get into people's minds. They had the black market up their sleeves. Sure, we have the technology, but there were always the creative types of people. In every faction, there were always those kinds of people. Thinking up new weapons, new ways to utilize them, even how to convert something old and seemingly useless into a great asset... Much like you do," he noted.

"... I'd say we get some rest. It's an hour trip, and we need to stay awake when we get there. I normally wouldn't go this far for an operation, but this is a special case."

"In a war there is no winner, all the sides end losing the ones they love. It is just a fight for survival. Don't think you will feel the victory of a competition, a bloodshed is the most possible thing that will occur and it is already been created. What is important is save as many lives as possible from all sides and don't become warlords with iron fists" Lynchwood spoke and glanced at the sky from the window

"In the end, the only true winners are the ones who lost the least amount of lives," he added.

"... What an age we live in, huh?" He stated. "We've socially evolved to the point where one man's voice can change the course of history. However, no matter how far we evolve, we still have a little of our incivilized ancestors running in our geneology, ancestors who only had one goal: survive. And unfortunately, like how the animal kingdom as a whole runs, it could mean risking the lives of other species, ourselves or even our entire humanity in all. There was a fine line in our society in which this can go, though. Several, if you may. You can no longer poach illegally. You cannot mate unless given the permission. And... You must not ever murder your own human kind on any circumstance. That particular line is a very thick one. You could say it was a wall. A tall wall. Some people manage to climb over, but the height at which they drop is mortal. An entire lifetime of no freedom and no respect, looked down on by society. It is a wall you can't walk around...

"Until one man found a damn good way of breaking it down. The wall is now gone thanks to the infamous criminal, Vector Lyre. All of the debris fell on him as he is now caged in a hell of an asylum. But no one cares for the risks they take anymore. They murder. They steal. They cut down every taboo to a stubble and stomp on it. From that stand point, it seems like Vector deserved the hell he got. But... One thing still lingers in my mind, though..... What hell could a man have had to live through to risk all of humanity? What happened to him..."

He caught himself going on.

"Oh, right. I kind of got off track there, huh? Sorry for making you listen to me go on."

"You are actually right about that man, there are counted people who have done impossible things just for the heck of it, but I feel he did what he did beause of something happening on his life, maybe he is a villain to some people due to everything that have happened, but others have finally unchained themselves into their own rightful independence" Sara said looking at the window

"It is all a matter of perspective"

An hour and a few glasses of carbonated drinks later,(alcohol for Alex) the party was fully under way. Dancers bounced up and down the stage to DJ Sinker's extraordinary playlist, bartenders served drinks at their full capacities, and some attendees looking for love left with a guy or a girl of their dreams. Nitro, Alex, and maybe even Ethan relaxed a bit and chatted about random, light things when...

"OH MY GOD MY PURSE!"

A woman shouted and pointed at a man wearing all black, dashing out of the club with a red clutch. The bouncer was not there to stop him because he had to go take a bathroom break.

"Someone please! I need my purse!" The victim screamed in utter hysteria as the onlookers could merely stare at the crime. "It has all my money and makeups and condoms and everything!"

Right as soon as the woman yelled, Ethan's attention was abruptly torn away from Nitro and Alex and towards the man running out of the club. Now, the woman losing her purse was not really Ethan's problem, but when he thought about it, this particular situation was an opportunity for Ethan to get some practice for later on, when he would take down The Corrupt. This would be his crash-course in vigilantism. With that in mind, Ethan suddenly rose from the table and looked at Nitro and Alex with a serious expression on his face, one of determination and resolve.

"You guys wait here. I'll be back in a minute.", Ethan calmly said before turning away and sprinting after the thief.

"Oh, okay." Nitro said as she sat back down. Alex however had a different idea, as she took off her earrings and kept it safe with Nitro. She then went after the thief as well, with impressively fast running speed for someone who was wearing heels.

The thief meanwhile was running towards an alleyway, carefully maneuvering to and from the dumpsters and the trash cans before arriving at a dead end: parking lot of a closed hardware shop.
