Clockwork Voyage

Introduction

Spoiler

Welcome to Clockwork Voyage, a Steampunk-era RP based on exploration and progress. You're in Aetheria, a world where civilizations have undergone through rapid technological advancements, competing with each other to gain advantage in exploration to unknown lands for colonization. The world is very naval-intensive, as most of the continents are separated by some amount of ocean. However, the technology has improved to the point that sky travelling and even sky cities are possible, so Aeronavigation is also a nice alternative if you want to take small amounts of cargo fast between two places. Land-travel between city-states and empires are also popular, as you can carry a lot more than Aeronavigation and is faster than naval trade.

20 years ago, an infamous pirate called Captain Verdelion plundered both the sea and the sky route of trade between major city-states and empires, amassing so much money it became the stuff of legends. After Captain Verdelion died with his treasure in an unknown location, many explorers sought out to find this massive booty, but everyone has either returned, gave up, or failed and perished out in the ocean.

You are an ambitious man/woman living in this world, looking for the treasure left by the dead Captain Verdelion. Will you be the one to find this magnificent treasure that can sustain you, your family, and several generations after of luxurious living? Or will you find something else of interest as you journey onward?

It is up to you to decide.

This is Aetheria. The whole world is 2000 miles in diameter.

Aetheria hosts 4 major empires with 8 city states.

Ravendale:

An empire ruled under a constitutional monarchy, Ravendale promotes justice and morality through the iron fist. Located in the center of the world map, Ravendale has a lot of plains and rivers flowing through, making agriculture the strongest suit of the empire.

Notable cities
- Lumines
Capital of Ravendale. Characterized mostly by the White Castle, the king's palace at the center of the city. The buildings also take the theme of white, using marble that is quarried in the outskirts.

- Rainy Port
Ravendale's biggest port city. It is most likely raining when you visit the city, hence the name Rainy Port. The city has a very well-regulated irrigation system and a certain architectural style that combats the rainy weather the best, such as clustered buildings with wide roofs to redirect the rainwater towards canals.

- Irongate
A center of railroad transportation, Irongate used to be the military center of Ravendale during its war against a neighboring empire, Wolfholt. This place also produces a lot of coal from the mines.

- Rollan
A town covered in thick forests. Center of lumber industry and home of the largest estate in Ravendale, the Wilcox Mansion.

- Oceanside
The direct opposite of Rainy Port, Oceanside is a port-city that always has good weather. Oceanside may not be as large as Rainy Port, but the residents are more diverse and the mayor is more progressive. The largest naval trading guild in the world, the Winged Whales, reside here.

- Heaven's Gate
Ravendale's only sky city, this city was constructed not so long ago and therefore is not as large as other sky cities. However, as it is sitting on such a pivotal point, a lot of trading caravans stop by here and therefore the growth rate of this city is very high.

Wolfholt:

Neighboring Ravendale to the east is Wolfholt, a militaristic empire ruled by a totalitarian ruler. A few years ago, Wolfholt and Ravendale waged war against each other, but a peace treaty allowed the two empires to amend the wounds. Of course, the deep scar of hatred still remains. Believing in military might, Wolfholt utilizes its mountainous lands to gain advantage in terms of coals and other useful minerals such as iron, copper, and aluminum, just to name a few.

Notable Cities
- Utgard
Also known as the Red Citadel, Utgard is the indomitable fortress capital of Wolfholt. The walls made of red brick-and-mortar still stand even after the war is over.

- Aensel
Trading center between Wolfholt and the rest of the world towards the West, the floating city of Aensel was rebuilt after Ravendale destroyed it during their war many years ago. Therefore, most of the residents are rather new to the town.

- Baratone
A historical city with lots of ancient ruins nearby, Baratone attracts a lot of explorers looking for treasures in the ruins, and has grown into a lawless town.

- The Backbone
Responsible for handling almost 20% of the total production of iron for Wolfholt, this mining city was built even before the capital.

- St. Gallas
A town by the tranquil Lake Aria. Retired people, regardless of their nationality, loves the town's beauty of nature.

Esteracre:

An expansionist empire ruled under a council of 9 elders, Esteracre boasts its superior tradition, culture, and religion. The world's largest mountain, the Deep South, is in this empire.

Notable Cities
- Esmeralda
A city that mysteriously shines green during a certain time of day, Esmeralda is the capital of Esteracre. The city's entrancing beauty invites a lot of tourists to this city.

- Granicia
Known as the Holy city of the Zetra, Granicia holds the temple where the god Zetra is worshipped. However, the true fanatics of this religion does not live here, but they live closer and closer to the Deep South, believing that Zetra lives high up at the peak of the mountain and that they tok can receive holy power by living near him.

- Pietus
Not much is known about Pietus. The only few information that we ever hear of the place is that one, it is still yet to be industrialized, two, it is filled with fanatics of the Zetrism, and three, non believers travelling to the city never come back.

- Horax
A diplomatic city set up to appease the Wolfholt during their invasion. A lot of oil is produced here.

Skylands Republic:

A democratic empire with only sky cities and ports, Skylands Republic was formed by the enlightened minds of merchants and trade leaders who were sick of the oppression of the empires' kings and councillors. This empire boasts superior scientific progress, trade and commerce, and education.

Notable Cities
- Jefferson
Named after the first president of the empire, Robert Wellings Jefferson, this sky city has the largest University in Aetheria, making it the hub of education that accepts bright-minded students from all over the world.

- Wakehold
One of two port cities in Skylands Republic, Wakehold served as the host city for the first World Convention two years ago. It also serves as a refueling station for airplanes traveling from Ravendale and Esteracre to the sky cities of Skylands Republic and vice versa.

- Blackledge
A city named aptly because of the cliff of black marble it sits on, Blackledge serves as a refueling station for airplanes travelling from Wolfholt and city states near the area to the sky cities of Skylands Republic and vice versa.

- Piltover
Known as the City of Progress, the extremely progressive of the government allows scientific progress and commerce to skyrocket in this sky city.

The major city-states goes as follows:

1. Moroz Drakon
The northern islands above Skylands Republic. The abundance of natural resources here are contradicted by very little people living in the lands, due to the legend of the ice dragon that lives near.

2. Sardhin
A desert city-state west of Esteracre that plead independence as its own separate empire.

3. Freljand
The unforgiving frozen wasteland north of Wolfholt. People are rugged and battle-hardened. The fiercest mercenaries often take their guilds here.

4. Wolfhunter
After the war between Ravendale and Wolfholt came to a halt, some Ravendale war-fanatics decided that Ravendale is too peaceful for their nature. Therefore, they created their own independent city-state and perform guerilla warfare against Wolfholt trade caravans, ships, and airplanes.

5. Fenix
A city-state situated near Wolfholt. This city-state is always on war-like term with its neighboring city-state, Abencar.

6. Abencar
A city-state next to Fenix, it fights for the control over the small bay with Fenix.

7. Namishima
An oriental city-state situated far to the east of Wolfholt, the cultural and religious advancement of Namishima is only rivaled by Esteracre.

8. Clockwork Town
Where it all began. This city-state marked the birth of Steampunk era in Aetheria, and therefore is a pilgrimage site for many aspiring Steampunk engineers, businessmen, and scientists.

[ADDED - 07/07/2014]
There are quite a lot of religion in a world of developed science.

- Galesm

Galesm as a religion does not exist to answer questions such as 'why are we here' and 'what is the meaning of life'. It holds that there are no gods and no masters, only nothingness penetrated by the constant ebb and flow of the wind, hence the first four letters of the religion being 'gale'. All life is filled with suffering, Galesm explains, and there is no denying that. This is the first noble truth. The second noble truth is that suffering stems from humanity's cravings and aversions, be it overindulgence to alcohol or complete dismissal of sensual pleasures. The third truth is that suffering can be overcome by overcoming desire and aversion, by living one day at a time. The fourth and final truth is that to overcome suffering, one must follow the eightfold current which is a set of eight ideas that focus the mind on being fully aware of one's thoughts and actions, acquiring wisdom, and building compassion.

There are no prerequisites for Galest followers to achieve, and the religion does not demand anything from them. Instead, Galesm is more of a philosophy than anything else. It encourages others to lead a moral life, to be mindful and aware of one's thoughts and actions, and to develop wisdom and understanding with compassion underlining all.

- Zetrism
Local religion of the Esteracre, followers of this religion believe that the god Zetra has created the world and he watches over the world he created atop Deep South, the tallest mountain in Aetheria. They believe that Zetra is omnipotent, and that using more technology than is deemed necessary will anger Zetra as the balance of nature will be distorted.

Technology, Science, and Magic

Spoiler
So what extent of technological advancement has Aetheria achieved? As the introduction tells you, this is a Steampunk RP. In case you did not know, Steampunk is sub-genre of science fiction where steam-powered machines are used in a world setting of industrialized Western civilization in the 19th century. Often times, machines that are used in Steampunk settings are anachronistic, or inconsistent with the time period, but as long as it is operated by steam, clockwork, or something of that nature, it is acceptable.

Some common inventions of Steampunk era are...
- Steam-powered vehicles, such as cars, trains, ships
Spoiler

- Zeppelins
Spoiler

- Prosthetic limbs
Spoiler

- Automated robots
Spoiler

- Steam-powered Computer?
Spoiler

There are three kinds of magics in Aetheria.

- Alchemy
Spoiler

Magic that explores the potential of the material, alchemists explore the chemistry to understand the world around them. Defining objectives of alchemy is turning regular metal into more valuable metals or discovering eternal youth by finding the recipe for the fabled philosopher's stone... or you can use the knowledge of the chemistry for more corporeal uses.

- Elementalism
Spoiler

Magic that delves into the six basic characteristics of the world: Fire, Water, Wood, Earth, Metal, and Air, Elementalists can channel the energies of those six elements to both launch deadly attacks and perform miraculous work such as healing wounds, curing diseases, or constructing large buildings faster than any regular architect can. Very few people can actually use this magic.

- Techmaturgy
Spoiler

Combination of technology and thaumaturgy, practitioners of this branch of magic uses technology to perform miraculous works. Some examples include bringing a dead man back to life using nanomachines and body parts or creating an automated robot. Slang term for this "magic" is called Hextech.

So what can I become?

Spoiler
Here are some character archetypes you can consider.

Scientist/Engineer/Inventor or whatever you want to call yourself

Men love to wonder, and that is the seed of science. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Intrigued by the never-ending technological progress, you are a well-educated gentleman/lady who strives to invent new things for the name of science. You are curious, eccentric, and maybe even prodigal. You either own your own lab, or you work for another scientist as an apprentice, building your skill and wealth so one day you too can become a full-fledged engineer that can contribute to the world of science.

Pirate

Life's pretty good, and why wouldn't it be? I'm a pirate, after all. - Johnny Depp

Bored of the regular life, you are a pirate who plunders the world's trade routes, following the route of legendary pirate, Captain Verdelion. You can choose to pillage the small villages on land, intercept the cargo ships on sea routes, or raid the sky. You are not bound by any rules but your own, and the freedom of the world is yours. But if you are caught by the empires' army, then your days of bliss are over.

Soldier

If we're doing this, better do it thoroughly. If, by any chance, even a single scholar was hiding on that ship, every single sacrifice made today would have been wasted. Evil must be completely eradicated! - Admiral Akainu

You are a soldier for an empire of your choice. Loyal to your country, you serve as either the Army, Navy or the Air Force to keep your empire safe from the pirates. You are given superior training and equipment, but you are bound by strict military code and conduct. Your goal right now is to secure the treasure of Captain Verdelion before any pirates or explorers grab them and use them for their own good.

[ADDED]
The ranks used in this RP follows closely to the British Navy and Royal Air Force.

Naval Rank (highest to lowest)
Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Vice Admiral
Rear Admiral
Commodore
Captain
Commander
Lieutenant Commander
Lieutenant
Sub Lieutenant
Shipman

Air Force Rank (highest to lowest)
Chief Marshal
Marshal
Vice Marshal
Colonel
Air Commodore
Air Captain
Air Commander
Squadron Leader
Air Lieutenant
Air Master Sergeant
Air Staff Sergeant
Air Sergeant
Pilot Officer

Of course, these are not the only archetypes you can choose to work with. You can be anything you want in this RP, as long as your goal is set.

Rules

Spoiler
1. Character Limitation

- You can have up to 3 characters. No exceptions.
- There are mythical creatures in Aetheria. Does not mean you can apply as one without my permission.

2. Post Length

- A lot of people make excuses such as "Oh I was feeling tired today so I made my post short. Sorryz". NONE OF THAT BULLSHIT HERE. If your character is not in a conversation, and you don't feel like posting some descriptions, don't even post. We can wait until you feel better. I don't want the outsiders to think that I am lenient on small, half-assed posts. I may be casual in Hoenn, but not here. This is as serious of an RP as AtWaG or TSU.
- That being said, I want to establish a general rule that a conversational post is at least 2 sentences long, and descriptive post is at least 4 - 5 sentences long. Longer the better.

3. Contribution

- Did your character make something? Invented a new technology? Discover a new location? Maybe you want to add a particular city to the map. Let me know through PM and I will see if it's acceptable or not. As long as you don't go overboard, you should be fine.

4. Post etiquette

- Respond only to the things a character says, not what he/she thinks.
- Don't just have your character jump into a scene.
- Don't take control of other characters unless you're allowed to.

5. Other

- I'm gonna try and make this RP leaning more towards R than PG-13. However, there are still some things that are not allowed:

> Blatant Sex scenes. You can have your little romantic scene if you want, but no ero.
> No Ad Hominem. In case you don't know what that is, it's a type of fallacy, or false argument, that attacks the person instead of his argument. In this case, it means insult the character, not the player.
> Extremely cruel scenes. I never said you can't have gore, as there might be action scenes in this RP. However, plz no guro.

- Regarding post activity, I will give a player max. 5 days to post. If the player do not post within that time period, the player's character can and will be controlled by users affected by the player's inactivity to keep the plotline going and the player will given a strike. The player may regain the control by pleading in the OOC. If the player is given three strikes, the player is banned from posting in the RP and the player's character will be up for grabs. If no one grabs the character, then the GM will control him/her.

Cool beans. So can I make a character?

Name: Drake Harman

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Occupation: Weapon Designer/Engineer.

Appearance:
Spoiler
He is never seen without his headgear when working (even when on break), and he stands at 6ft 2.

Skills: Drake as a Weapon Designer and Engineer specializes in well... designing and developing weaponry of various kinds (from Hextech, to normal firearms, to even blade weaponry. Though he does prefer making firearms and Hextech weapons over blades like swords and daggers.) Either because he had been hired by someone to design a weapon, or just when he is just plain bored. His workshop is located within the Clockwork City, and in turn he gets quite a bit of business during the weekdays. Aside from his skill in designing weapons for whomever, Drake is also quite skilled in identifying weapons that are not even his own. One oddity of a skill he has is an odd ability to determine what a weapon is or does (mostly it is just a general idea of what it can do. Sometimes it isn't even accurate. This ability only seems to pertain to firearms however.) Drake's abilities may not seem very useful for most situations, but some people have sought him out due to his knowledge of weaponry. These people he had often times either refused to help them, or just scared them off with his own weapons.

Bio: Drake at the young age of 12 was already a hard working lad, for he had helped out in his father's "workshop", of which was not a weapon factory... but rather an airship factory. He loved the hard work, but he really didn't care for what he was working for. He... just didn't find it exciting. For years Drake did help his father at the factory, and when he finally got to the proper age of 18 he had been offered a full time job at the factory. Of which he politely declined. At the end of that day Drake had left the factory and began to ponder what he wanted to do with his life. That is when he stumbled by an old workshop that made firearms. The workshop was quite old, and was on the verge of closing. Curious as to what he might find, and bored out of his mind he decided to enter this workshop... Immediately he fell in love with what he found.

Weapons galore! There were firearms of many different types all over the place! Drake felt like he was in heaven... When the owner of the store, and elderly man by the name of Nathaniel Birkin, came up to him Drake began asking questions of all kinds about the firearms. This eventually led Drake to following in Nathaniel's footsteps for the next 7 years (rather than following in his fathers footsteps.) Of which Drake learned the tips of the trade at making firearms, and even some Hextech weaponry and a few swords and daggers here and there. Unfortunately when Drake turned 26, his new mentor had passed away due to old age, and Drake had been given full control over the shop of which he runs on his own now. Due to proper advertising, the shop had gotten better business than it had in the past 5 years. Drake had even designed some weapons for pirates of all people (though he did it in secrecy as to not bring any unwanted attention from law enforcement.) Now Drake continues to run the shop, and is still in love with designing weapons.

Personality: Drake seems like a rather relaxed individual when on the job, and he is. When not working Drake is a rather calm and relaxed guy who would usually just laze about, while thinking of possible weapon designs. When working however he still has his relaxed demeanor, but his focus on his job is at full 100%. This makes him single-minded when it comes to working, as once he starts working it is all he thinks about. Designing weapons, making weapons, and even selling weapons. However Drake does often times make small talk with his customers even when working which is kind of odd with how focused he is. Drake is also a sarcastic guy, and can be at times... kind of rude to others as he usually only sees the simple things in life... like designing weapons! Other than this Drake will not help anyone with anything unless there is some sort of payment involved. If there is no payment (or no threat) he probably will not help out someone with pretty much anything. Sometimes when say someone is about to fall off a building he would help out by calling say the law enforcement or something, but other than that he'd rather not get his hands dirty with trivial things.

On top of this Drake is a perfectionist, who has to have a lot of things done his way. When he is hired by someone to design a weapon he will oftentimes design the weapon himself, and not let the customer help at all. As Drake claims that "those designs are inferior to mine!" He also is a bit of a neat freak who does not like to get his clothes actually dirty (spill something like coffee on his vest and he might flip out and attack you.) Drake also has a odd fear of "ghosts". Whether they are real or not, Drake has an unnatural fear of spirits which makes him feel uneasy, and even downright terrified if he thinks one is nearby. Hell he will downright refuse to go inside a place or near a location that is said to be haunted. One other minor thing about Drake is that he has a love for sweet foods, especially chocolate which unfortunately can be quite messy. This love for sweet foods often times compels him to try out any new kinds of foods or candies that he never tried before, in the promise that said food items are sweet to begin with. This almost ties in with his love for weaponry.

Despite all his downsides, Drake can be a good guy. For he is quite sociable, despite him having a bit of a superiority complex over others. Oftentimes he will exchange small talk with some of his customers, and even some random people he will meet at say a Diner. Drake can also crack if you make fun of his skills as a weapon designer, offer him something sweet then not actually give him anything, or downright threaten his life.

Other: Nothing I can think of at the current moment...

Name: Gale Winters

Age: 37

Gender: Male-ly Male

Occupation: Pirate

Appearance:

Stands at a towering 6ft 6' with brown hair. And attire doesn't include incredibly deep cut in shirt.

Skills: Very talented swordsman and good at using firearms. Also very crafty in many senses of the word. Also known to be a strategist of sorts, but has a guy for that who's specialized in the sort.

Bio: not much is known of him. He was kidnapped and taken prisoner by pirates by the age of 19. He desperate to escape, he decided to work for them. It was the same crew that Captain Verdalion manned. He worked as a servant. He would go to where the captain hid the treasure, but was always blindfolded and tied up whenever they got there. He would hate the captain, and every day he loathed the captain with everything in his being. He promised to kill him.

He never did. Something happened that he wasn't too sure about that took the captain's life. He wanted to know where the treasure was, but he risked losing his life just asking. He made the only decision that was available if he wanted freedom. He decided to kill everyone else in their sleep. After that, he took off and created a pirate crew of his own. He used everything he learned as a servant and became a ruthless pirate. After looting many ships and gaining access to technology, he created a dual wield sword that produced magic depending on how he set up the swords.

He connected the ends to form a fire nagita.

He held them in a knife-like fashion to create water knives.

He held them normally for wind swords.

He set up a rumor that he killed the captain and his crew with his weapons. Whether or not that was true is a mystery... (But obviously he didn't.)

Personality: ENTP. Brings meaning to the term 'Devil's Advocate.' When he is alone, he is usually bland and straight forward, usually looking back on previous mistakes and/or a person of interest. When he is around others, he is eccentric and loves to have fun and drink. But get on his bad side and he'll make you regret it.

Other: I know that the whole 'working as Verdalions servant' thing is farfetched, but I made sure to take care of some things like blindfolding him when they get to the hideout. He couldn't take out an entire crew by himself, so he did it while they were sleeping. I cam change it if you wish.

Name: Carina Moore

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Occupation: Weapon Designer in training

Appearance:
Spoiler
Carina is somewhat short, standing only at 5ft 5, and she weighs in at about 124 lbs. She has a tattoo on her left shoulder that she got herself just to mess with her parents. (Oh and yes that minigun in that picture is hers.)

Tattoo:
Spoiler

Skill: Carina is a smart young girl, but she isn't the wisest. She knows how guns work, and how to build them along with some other tricks of the trade. However she is not entirely wise, for she makes some pretty damn bad decisions that can get her into trouble. She does not know how to make more complex firearms like miniguns and whatnot, but she knows how to operate one quite well (in fact she usually always carries around a Minigun inside a large leather back. It is something that Drake made for her on her last birthday after she begged him to death for one.) In short she knows a bit about building, and designing firearms but not to the same extent as Drake. She is however quite skilled with a gun (Mostly a minigun which to her doesn't take much skill to operate.) Carina is still a "Weapon Manufacturer in Training" under Drake's supervision.

Bio: When she was young Carina was a pretty energetic girl, always eager to learn new things, and as a result she had occasionally got into trouble due to sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. Either way Carina had always been a fun, and exciteable little girl. As she grew older she had gained an interest in one many different things, but one thing she always took notice of was the gun shop and "all the fancy toys in it." You see her father used to be a pirate, but eventually gave up the lifestyle due to having a new family. One thing her father always like was guns, and more guns. Something that had passed down to her. Eventually when she became 16 she got a part time job at the gun shop which was the same gun shop that Drake happens to work at. When the old man passed away, and Drake was left to run the shop alongside Carina, the two have been at... odds. Drake rather than actually teaching her more stuff, makes Carina do the cleaning, organizing the store room, and run a few errands here and there. This annoys Carina and at times often interrupting Drake's work, and even flat out working on his projects when he is not working. This pissed off Drake, and still does. Thankfully Drake managed to get her to stop somewhat for he had made her a minigun at her request for her 17th birthday. Now she isn't as big of a pest to him as before.

Personality: Carina is kind, and energetic, albeit she is wreckless and nosy. She is highly curious about the world, and oftentimes she would get into trouble due to getting herself stuck in some pretty bad situations. (Like one time she followed a stray cat throughout the city, and ended up getting lost. Which ended with Drake coming to pick her up.) Carina also isn't the safest to be around due to her wrecklessness (for example the first test run of her minigun when she got it, she unloaded every single bullet into a shooting target, tearing it apart), as well as her... clumsiness. Yeah you heard me. Carina may be a pretty smart girl at times, but that does not mean she makes smart decisions. Often times the choices she makes comes back to bite her in the ass.

Carina means well, but due to her bad habits she will occasionally get herself, and even people she knows in trouble.

Other: None at the moment.

Screw it, Im in

Name: Lia Myura

Age: 30

Gender: female,

Occupation: An explorer in the search of marvels of the world, Lia would go to the deepest ruins way down where no one dares to go or as high as the stars can reach in the tallest mountains or flying secrets. She follows the law, but to some extent, her soul always goes for adventure making the redhead get in the middle of battles or that is just her luck. Sometimes she would work as a courier or as a mercenary depending on the situation she is in, but although many would think she allies with the pirates, they are wrong, she would never go into their lines as also she avoids the military since they also cage the people to become toy soldiers.

Appearance:
Spoiler http://i.imgur.com/H1AP1bT.png

Also she has both a mechanical arm (left one) and eye (left one too)

http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2014/002/2/f/clockwork_eye_2_0_by_sux2beme-d70b99w.jpg

Skill: Lia is good at moving due to her life as an adventurer, she can move with the grace of a cat, but can give a punch like a gorilla, in terms of melee fighting she has great abilities to protect herself and give a good knock out on her enemies. On the other side, weaponry is something she is like an ace, give her a gun and she will hit anything thanks to her mechanical eye that gives her better aiming on whichever gun. Another skill is to be a fast leaner in case of working on an unknown machine, if she is given instructions about something, she will understand in a quick time.

Bio: Starting in a city where new inventions was a common thing, a younger Lia was always marveled to see such things, she always enjoyed what people could do with their intelligence and hardwork as she always looked at her left arm and her eye in the mirror, works from a old and kind inventor who was her neighbour. Lia´s parents on the other hand were always busy in their jobs leaving the redhead with the old inventor. As she grew up, the redhead helped in whatever was needed in the city as a courier or asistant in an invention, but her fvorite place was with the old inventor who uppdated her eye and arm to keep up with her biological body.

One day though, the old man needed to go to a far away part of the world to work on a big project, he never said a word about such project to his asistant, yet he gave her a book. The book had notes and writings about hundredths of places and Lia discovered that the old man was a retired adventurer who wanted to go on a last adventure. He told the twenty two years old girl to prepare for her own adventure as he got on a zeppelin and left.

Now at her thirty years, Lia is an adventurer who is in the search of the world´s marvels, from mechanical wonders to ancient treasure of old technology. With her own journal of traveling, the wanderer travels Aetheria´s skies

Personality: Lia is who you could call a free bird, she enjoys going from end to end while encountering many things in the journey, a person of good heart who cares for the others and wouldn´t mind getting in the middle of a battle to try to stop it. Yet when things get serious, she acts calm and objective, focusing on the surroundings and using it to the advantage of her side.
